The irony was that it had happened thanks to Ryu Tatsuya… But his will to kill the latter hadn't diminished in the slightest. In fact, with his will now being akin to tempered steel, his murderous intent was even thicker. 

Finally, he reached down and peeled the mask off of his master's face. 

What he saw left him stunned.

Primus waved out a hand, thick Karmic Strings that had attempted to kill Ryu in a single swipe were crushed. 

'Oh? I didn't kill them?'

Primus raised an eyebrow. Just now, something had attempted to use Karma to kill Ryu, and he had obviously stepped in to stop it. The real problem was that this person, despite only having the aura of a Dao Lord, had been able to evade his detection and preserve their life.
