Collecting materials

When I arrive at Chief Harvard home, he already returns and wait for me, but ask nothing why I just return now.

"Ah, master Ikki, you finally come. Shall we just go to Lukas place now or you still have something to do?"

We both leave the house and heading toward Lukas workshop. When we arrive there, the sound of hammer tempering iron can be heard from outside. Chief Harvard must shout before Lukas open the door for us.

"It's okay Lukas, sorry to disturb your work, but I and master Ikki have something that I need you to make"

We enter Lukas workshop, sit on the available chair, and start talking about what we want to make

"Listen, Lukas, yesterday when I'm going to the beach, master Ikki made something that can make we rider the horse easier. A thing called saddle, and I hope you can make it in a mass product so our horses in the stable can be equipped with that saddle"

Lukas stands up from his seat and takes something from the shelf in the workshop. He comes back with a wooden plank and chalk. Oh, this is can be used to draw a picture. So I start to make a saddle sketch on the plank using the chalk. And after finish drawing, I handed the plank to mister Lukas.

Mister Lukas received the plank and start examining the drawing. After finish studying the drawing Lukas ask what in his mind to me

"Master Ikki, To make this saddle we will need many leather right? And what I will do is shaping the leather to sitting place on the horseback, make a belt to tie this leather on the horse, and make footstep to ride the horse. Is that correct?"

"Yes, you right mister Lukas. Your job is to make the belt and the footstep for the saddle. The leather part can be done by mister Matius and Marius since they know better for leather treatment"

"Hahaha…That I can do. Chief, if you want to make this saddle you should ask Matius and Marius for leather, I'll do the ironwork on the saddle"

"Don't worry Lukas, after from here I will go there to make Matius and Marius prepare the leather. I just want to know whether you can make it or not"

"Hmph, only belt and footstep is not big thing chief. I can make it, don't worry, especially after I find that iron source in the hill I'm not worried about lack of source anymore"

"Ah, that's good to hear. Alright I don't want to waste your time, I'll go to see Matius and Marius after this"

After that, we leave Lukas' workshop and go to see Matius and Marius. When we arrive at their residence, Only Marius was there, while Matius was out for hunting. He receives our arrival with a big smile on his face.

"I'll be straight to the point, Marius. We want to make a thing called a saddle to make riding horse easier and comfortable. But we need a lot of leather for that. Do you have some leather in your inventory? Big size leather like deerskin"

"Leather? We have some, but most of our inventory still in unprocessed skin and furs"

"Can you give all the leather you have? I give you two saddles after its finished made"

"Deal! I'll get that leather of you. Oh, I almost forget, master Ikki, you ask for some fats right? We already collected some for you. Do you want to take it now?"

"If not troubling mister Marius, I will take it now, thank you"

"Not at all, please wait"

Mister Marius go to the back side of his house and return with some leather on his shoulder and a barrel in his hand.

"Chief, here's your leather and master Ikki, your fats are in this barrel. You can keep the barrel"

"Wow, thank you so much, mister Marius"

"Marius, after the saddle done, I will take you seeing the new place for settlement. You will like that place"

"Really chief? I'm waiting for that day hehehe"

"I want to take many people to go there, so if you still have the unprocessed skin for leather, you should do it faster so we can make more saddle"

"Alright! We will do that immediately"

"After done, just sent it to Lukas, he's the one who does the saddle making"

"Okay!"

"Alright, we take our excuse then. I must bring this leather to Lukas so he can be working on it right away"

After getting what we need from Marius, we going back to Lukas workshop to handed the leather that we just received, so mister Lukas can make the saddle faster.
