Mall Of Luxuries.
Jiang Ying Yue noticed his still so reluctant form and realised there would not be any outcome this time so she decided to not waste anymore of her and his time.
Additionally, today's meeting had already exceeded her expectations. She had thought he would not even let her meet him and let alone have tea together. This was still better, at least she got to make her intentions clear. The treatment she had come prepared for did not even come to her so it was better to go at a slow pace with him.
"I am returning to City S at the end of this month and I really hope that you could come with me."
She opened her purse to take out a wooden box and passed it to him, "Here."
"What is it?"
"Something which was yours, to begin with. Grandmother asked me to help her pass you this."
He stared at the beautifully carved wooden box and understood right away what was it. He changed his focus of line from the box and spoke, "I didn't return it to take it back."
She only exhaled deeply and kept it on the table before saying, "Whether you take this or not depends upon you. But I do want you to know that it was grandfather's wish that you could come back, and as for this box...you shouldn't deny your precious inheritance."
"Even though it was left in the grandmother's hand, it still is yours and she would only feel burdened if it were to remain with her more than required."
Before he could refuse her again, she quickly changed the topic and this time spoke excitedly, "I did not come this time only to speak to you about this matter, I also want to meet your daughter!"
Hearing her mention his daughter, Guo Leiwu smiled, "She must be in school at this time."
Noticing a hint of disappointment in her expression, he added after a thought, "It would be her day off two days later, if you want you can meet her then."
"Okay then, I will come to meet her the day after tomorrow. What does she like though?"
"And you don't have to buy her anything."
"Well, I can. Because I am buying for her and not you."
He scoffed, "Your Chinese has improved."
"It indeed has."
"So tell me what she likes?" she again asked with twinkling eyes.
He knew that Jiang Ying Yue would not leave this topic so as not want to waste his energy in vain, he gave in, "She loves everything but particularly things which have unicorns."
"Okay."

Downstairs.
"Are you sure that Mr Guo is safe to be around?" Qin Zihao asked for the nth time.
"If you are so worried why don't you just go up and look by yourself instead of annoying me?" the girl at the reception huffed.
"Why are you always so irritated by me? You should be glad that I am speaking with you even after that nature of yours."
She smiled slightly almost mockingly, "Oh trust me, I would be more happy if you call a halt to being so thoughtful of me and stop talking."
Jiang Ying Yue and Guo Leiwu were greeted with this scene when they came downstairs and were taken aback.
They both had been left in the company of each other for more than half an hour only but they were already on the verge of exchanging blows.
Guo leiwu interrupted their bickering and turned towards Jiang Ying Yue before going on to introduce the receptionist to her.
"Jiang Ying Yue, this is Huang Meijuan. She is a tattoo artist, a good designer who has been working here for the past three months and also the one who manages reception."
Qin Zihao sneered and muttered, "If you want to have good business, the first thing that needs to be done is to change the receptionist."
He was saying that to himself but it was loud enough to be heard by everyone.
Huang Meijuan ignored him and politely nodded at Jiang Ying Yue before passing her a light smile.
"Hello, Miss Jiang."
"Hello, It's nice to meet you!"
Jiang Ying Yue smiled sweetly at her and spoke in a teasing tone while pointing at Guo Leiwu, "You must be really amazing for him to praise you like that as he is very petty in these things!"
"I am not that great, Miss Jiang."
"You don't have to be so polite and formal with me." Jiang Ying Yue's expression was like a morning breeze; gentle and fresh.
Regardless of the huge age gap, Jiang Ying Yue and Guo Leiwu were still very good friends. Back when he was still working in their company, he often used to come to Jiang Mansion to discuss business with Old Master Jiang.
Since she along with her cousins shared the same mentality as him, they all had gotten quite close with each other before he became the head of the other branch after which they saw less of each other.
After all, he was also one of the few people who had helped in persuading her grandfather to let her become a doctor...
Thinking of this, the shine of her eyes grew faint. Those days...they were much better. At least she still had her grandfather by her side.
Huang Meijuan was taken aback for a moment as it was quite rare for people to praise her and with Jiang Ying Yue speaking in such a warm tone, she did not know how to react.
It was really awkward....to hear the praise from the woman she had never thought much of.
She was not sure how to respond so out of the habit she glanced at Qin Zihao.
Jiang Ying Yue noticed her glance so with a knowing tone she enquired, "You both seem to know each other well, I guess."
"No way!!"
"Not at all!!!"
'If you don't know each other, why you have to be so hyper?!!' the corner of her mouth twitched.
Guo Leiwu raised his eyebrow at their exaggerated reply and looked at Jiang Ying Yue who seemed disappointed.
He speechlessly pursed his lips, 'Why do you seem so disappointed?'
Thinking back on how this girl had always been abnormally interested in match-making ever since she was young, he ignored her expression, "I have a meeting in half an hour so we have to go now."
Jiang Ying Yue smiled faintly at him before trying again, "Think about my request, please."
Guo Leiwu's expression was of reluctance, but he still gave in, "I will."
Seemingly satisfied with his response she bid him and Huang Meijuan goodbye before leaving with Qin Zihao.
After getting into the car, Qin Zihao peeped at her from the rearview mirror and asked, "So...that's it, Young Madam Lin?"
"Not at all."
"Then?"
"We will go to the mall now."
"For shopping?"
"Uh-huh, for shopping and also to meet someone there."
"Someone?"
Qin Zihao dug while flashing his eyebrows at her, "Would it be some pretty lady?"
Jiang Ying Yue knew what was going through his mind, she smirked, "Definitely a pretty lady."
Just when he got all excited, she added again while moving her gaze to look at the buildings swiftly passing by, "A pretty lady suitable enough to be your elder sister."
There was a hint of a smile on her face and slight mischief in her eyes.
But...his smile immediately dropped.
If he was to just meet people like that annoying receptionist and an elder sister from these meetings, then how was he even supposed to ever get married!!!
He huffed and just stared ahead looking sulky.
"Why are you sulking? I think the girl at reception was also not bad."
"Not bad? The girl who does not even mean how to behave decently, she was in fact the worst." he snorted.
"Don't be so mean."Jiang Ying Yue laughed at his annoyed face.

At Sunflower Galaxy Mall.
Entering the mall they were greeted with grandeur and majestical designed main area which was shimmering even more because of the huge chandelier hanging right in the middle of the ceiling at the top.
It was the topmost luxurious mall in the country which was under Lin Corporations and was built when Elder Master Lin was still alive and was the CEO of Lin Corporations. Having a great interest in astronomy since childhood, he named it after one of the galaxies.
With the construction of such a splendid and marvellous mall, the tourism of City B had also increased up to great extent the year it was opened and brought impressive profits. It even had the record of being counted in the top five luxurious malls of the world for the past 20 years.
Overall it was the mall of luxuries and opulence. Most of the things here were either imported or belonged to especially high brands of the country. Even the tiniest thing was given the great importance.
