It's No. 158!

The assistant was delighted hearing this and handed her the token of the painting cheerfully, "Here take this token. Go with it to the counter and give it to the person sitting there. They would ask for the account detail and address. After the payment will be done, the painting would be sent to your home by the evening!!!"

He was so enthusiastic that he reiterated her all the details the anchor for the event had already announced.

"Okay, Thank you!"

With the token in her hand, she went to the counter and did as she was told. The anchor saw her following the series of steps and reported on the mic, "Wahh! The paintings exhibited today are so amazing that even Young Madam Lin was not able to stop herself from buying one. If it's appropriate for me to ask may we know what painting you have purchased?"

Hearing the voice she turned to look at the anchor who was standing on the left side and showed him her token.

Because they were far from each other, it took some time for him to make up the number, "Ohh! It's No. 158!!!"

Murmurs kicked off in the hall hearing the number. Who wasn't aware of that painting? It was just that nobody was courageous enough to buy it because of its price.

That was the sole painting of China which had peregrinated from one influential artist to another for hundreds of years ever since its discovery to find the meaning behind it. It was settled in a world-class famous museum early in the nineteenth century and had remained there till a couple of years back when it was sent for auction.

A mysterious person based in the USA bought it worth 5.6 billion US$ and had later given it to First Young Master Lin as an appreciation gift for saving his life.

First Young Master Lin then handed it over to Old Madam Lin as he had no interest in paintings.

Due to its terrific history, the price of this painting was also no less. It was the painting whose price increased year by year and due to this even the artist who wished to buy it could not do so.

"That has been the most valuable painting of this art gallery till now which was never bought due to its high range! Obviously, only Young Madam Lin could purchase it without even worrying about the money."

After meandering some more around the gallery she went to stay with Old Madam Lin and helped her in hosting the rest of the event. It was raining cats and dogs even after the event was successfully concluded. So the plan of going on the date was reluctantly postponed for some other day by Old Madam Lin.

They returned home by the time of lunch and went to their respective rooms for freshening up before entering the dining hall. Old Master Lin was already back by now and delighted by the feast kept in front of him.

Because they were not able to go to the date, the food made by Old Madam Lin was served for the lunch.

Old Master Lin was grinning the whole time, his wife was an amazing cook but she was not fond of cooking. Her cooked food served on the table had been a rare sight in the household.

Old Madam Lin gave a weird glance at his expression.

Jiang Ying Yue was aware that Grandmother Lin woke up early to prepare them a meal but had not thought it to be as grand as a banquet. Even if they had gone with the plan for the second half of the day, it was nearly impossible for them to finish it all.

"Unfortunately, since we were not able to go out so I thought it would be a waste of my hard work if we did not eat the food."

"I am glad that the rain did not stop otherwise I would have been deprived of delicious food."

"You are saying as if the food cooked every day is not good enough."

Two Days Later.

Jiang Ying Yue who was ready in a dotted dress with a denim jacket draped over her shoulders was waiting impatiently for Qin Zihao who had offered to be the driver for the day as they go to meet Guo Leiwu and his daughter.

Taking his daughter's poor health in sight, Guo Leiwu had called her in the morning and invited her straight to their home instead of the restaurant he had booked earlier because he was avoiding taking the little girl out.

Putting her finished cup of tea on the table, Jiang Ying Yue stood up and picked up two big bags filled with clothes and toys in her hands as she stepped out of the the gates. What she had bought was not this much but she added the food supplements after knowing about Guo Yina's condition.

Poor girl! She might be in so much pain. Even yesterday, she was in the hospital till evening.

Not knowing Guo Leiwu had already made a decision, she continued thinking about several ways through which she could persuade him to come along with her.

Her cousins had put a huge responsibility on her shoulders of persuading Guo Leiwu to return. As she was the only one in City B and apparently the only one who could ever do this hard task according to them, they had happily warned her to only return if she can make the required party come along.

They did not wish for him to come back just because he had been an important part of their company and was more efficient in handling work. That was the part of the reason but not the exact one.

The care and affection Old Master Jiang had showered upon Mr Guo also reflected their behaviour. Being the little minions of Old Master Jiang that she and her cousins had always been, they used to mimic and follow his each and every move.

Maybe because of that, she and her cousins naturally felt liking for him. Initially, it was all curiosity as to why this man that their grandfather had started bringing home was special? He had been uncompromising his whole life in terms of breaking his own rules especially whenever it came to bring anything from work to home.

Professional and personal lives were different and that's what they had been taught since they were young but suddenly they saw things changing when Mr Guo was even invited to dinner.

Old Master Jiang had carefully picked him up among the sea of graduates and had slowly nourished his skills and abilities. It was because there was this unique attachment they had formed with Guo Leiwu over the years he worked for them and used to come to their house that it was bothering them.

They had not known the real reason for his sudden departure back then but ever since they learnt about it, first, it was Grandfather Jiang who was burdened with the guilt and shame and now it was their grandmother.

Every time Guo Leiwu was mentioned, she looked depressed and troubled. They did not want even her to take this guilt to her last breath. So having enough of watching her like this, they decided to bring the things back to how they were before by making him return.

But the task was way too hard... sighing, she took out her phone and called Qin Zihao.

He was very quick in picking up the call, "Good Afternoon, Miss Jiang!" a cheerful voice fell in her ears through the phone.

"I have been waiting for the past twenty minutes in the sun." Cutting the formalities she went straight to the point. Her legs were paining due to walking for so long and at the same time enduring the weight of both the bags.

"Uh, what are you waiti-oh wait!!! I am sorry! Ah-I forgot about it, I...I will be there in five minutes!" The sound of the engine was followed by his voice. He was already sitting in his car and was busy setting his hair when she called. Seeing how beautiful the day was he chose to take the car out completely forgetting about the schedule of the day.

Jiang Ying Yue was at a loss for words because of Qin Zihao and got frustrated.

This boy!!!
