Chapter 6. Kings arrival and Benjens.

All of Winterfell stood with their lord Lord Eddard Stark and his wife and children standing in their position with Edward at the back with his son Jon.

Watching as the King's entourages approach the city marching to the East gate walking to The Keep where all of Stark family with only Arya running from who know from being stopped by Eddard. "What you doing with helmet Arya? Go before the King arrive" handing the helmet to his brother Edward who received it and move to stand behind Arya.

"Be more patient Arya. Never loose patient and please do well in your behavior if not I will make you sew clothes" whispering to her niece Edward lean straight but then Sansa mock laugh Arya. "And you lady, I'll train you till you lay on muds" which promptly stopped the snicker.

Prince Joffrey was the first to ride forward with his loyal hound at the back smiling at Sansa trying to please her but all Sansa see was a spoilt brats. She looks at him then turn to the King completely ignore him.

Joffrey smirk froze then turn to a scowl but he immediately smile again. The remaining entourages approach with King Baratheon rides on his horse.

Lord Stark bend his knee follows by everyone except Edward standing with narrow eyes but Jon pulled him afraid he cause chaos. Edward really hate all the Southern because of the loss of his family whenever they visit it and because of the scheming at south of Westeros.

"Brother be respectful for once, please I asked as your brother" Eddard whisper under his breath as he also see that Edward didn't bend his knee and he knows why. "Mm, for you brother"

Walking and standing before Eddard, Robert Baratheon a big beer belly strong man with long black hair look at Edward first, 'The Mad Wolf really is mad. He didn't even afraid of being called of treason' he return his gaze back at Eddard then beckon with his finger.

"Your grace"

"You've got fat" studying Ned he said.

Ned look at him then point with his eyes saying the same thing albeit with only his eyebrows.

The King look at him for a moment then started to laugh ,"ahahaha," they hugged each as long list friend which they are exactly. "Take me to the crypt. I want to pay for my respect"

"We been traveling for months my love. Surely the d.."

"You might lose your tongue, my queen" suddenly Edward said from the back.

All the people gasp as the deliberate threat from him. They had known Edward as a Mad man a genius mad man known as the Mad Wolf.

"And you might have your head on spike for talking to the Queen like that" the Kingslayer Jaime Lannister said.

"If someone blasphemy my sister I'm willing to lose me life, kingslayer" looking at the Kings guard who slay his king Edward answer.

"Enough of this. And you woman watch your tongue. Eddard let go" Robert walks away first followed by Ned.

Looking at Jaime, the Queen and the children looks Edward felt disgusted and spit on the ground. "Kids, follow me" "But uncle, Where's the Imp" Arya the vocal one ask. "Arya, watch your tongue. Be respectful of others, it is not their fault to be born like that. Now follow along"

Cersei with Jaime watch Edward away with death cold stare at his back he just look at them dismissively without any ounce of respect for The Queen and Kings guards.

Joffrey from his horse also look at the interaction and shocked to found that there is someone who can threaten his mother and was not punished. He felt angry at that but he can't do a thing about it as his hound filled him about the man. "My prince, he is Edward known as the Mad Wolf. He earn his title when he was ten name days. He challenge every prospect knight to a duel some he lose but he return and victorious and some he just won straight. He also the one who almost killed my brother, Clegane the Mountain and Loach the Pig if your grandsire Lord Lannister hasn't arrived on time, they would have died by now"

Cersei turn to her brother Jaime and vent her anger at him. "Find our little brother, his presence was needed"

It was night time, as the lords were having a feast celebrating the arrival of the King to Winterfell.

But only, Jon and Edward were outside. Edward drinking from his cup with a jug beside him watching as Jon struck the dummy with much ferociousness.

Edward already told Jon about his heritage. Jon already know who his mother is and father but he hide it as what Edward told him was true. His identity was a risk for House Stark. He didn't have an ambitious of reclaiming the Throne.

"Is he death yet!" Turning to the voice he saw his uncle. "Uncle Benjen, glad to see you here"

"Ahaha, my favorite nephew. Where's your father?"

"Oi, lad you need to be vigilant even more" a voice behind him which really spook Benjen.

"Ahaha, brother you almost killed me" he breath a little then ask suddenly "brother we found a solution to kill the a walker"

"Well what is it tell me. We need to prepare before the Night King moves South and we don't want that"

"Might I ask what Night King?" A voice suddenly ask them coming from the stable.

"Hi, Tyrion. If you want to know come sit the more the merrier" Edward seeing the dwarf beckon him. He knew he was thirst of knowledge but he also have brains and he need him his gold to buy some materials for the Night Watch.

"But father, he's a Lannister"

"So?" Raising an eyebrow at his question he look at him.

"Jon, let it be. We need all the help we can gather before it too late" Benjen said from the side.

"Oi, Jon go tell the maids to bring us food. Maybe a feast here in the open"

"As we said, the stories your nanny use to scare you with. The White Walkers which us Stark have battled and keep the realm in peace from have begun their third movements" Edward said pouring a drink for the imp.

"Mayhaps you were misinformed? How can white walkers be true?"

"Tell me imp, how dragons real?"

At that the imp Lannister have no answer he just drank his cup. "So, you mean to tell me that the night watch now facing a problem of facing the white walkers?"

"Aye, you right in that. But sadly we are shorten in resources. Our Gift was taken by the Queen Targaryen and give it to the Wall which they can't leave and so it was abandon. We also need to control the news to avoid panic around the realm" Edward said then help himself eating the delivered food.

"Why, Lord Stark not aware of this?"

"Because if what I heard right he choose to leave for his friend like always abandoning the North purpose. Winter is coming"

"Aye, Winter is Coming" x2 both Ben and Jon said at the same time.

"Well tell me brother, what material kills the white?"

"Ah, yes we tested every metal like you said and we found out about the um dragonglass"

"Of course how can it escape me mind" Edward smack his head for his stupidity. "It has to be. Dragonglass only found at hot places like magma or volcano. That how they can kill them. So in addition to dragonglass and Valyrian steel we might as well added fire" stuffing his mouth he turn to Tyrion. "Hey, Tyrion I needed a favour from you. Would you please help us ship some dragonglass from your land don't worry if you ever needed my help you can tell me. In case you want to use me against me family, please don't I might as well kill you"

"What a way to ask a favor but I will be visiting the wall soon so might I be able to see it for myself. Mayhaps then I can provide for the betterment of the realm" Tyrion still thinks that they were exaggerating but looking at the grim atmosphere between the two brothers and their reputation as Stark the news must be true.
