Sunspear

Elia Martell

----

"You can give me some space Oberyn, I am not leaving anytime soon." Despite saying this I do appreciate the love. Since returning to Sunspear I have been feeling rejuvenated and safer than ever before.

"I can't help it, I thought that I had lost you when we heard of the lions sacking kings landing." He grits his teeth thinking about it so I pull him into a hug.

"I am fine, my kids are fine, and you are fine." he pulls me in and squeezes me harder, I look over and see Aegon still sleeping and Rhaenys playing with her toy.

"Yea, you are right." He looks a little conflicted and I know he is hiding something.

"What is it?" he turns around and walks over to the balcony, checking on the kids once more I follow and persist. "What is it Oberyn?" He looks at me again and puts his hands up.

"It had nothing to do with me." After I cross my arms over my chest he gives in. "Doran and Jaime were talking and Doran thinks he should leave Sunspear." I step back and bump into the railing, Why would Doran send him away?

He saved us, without him we would have been killed, how could Doran send away someone who has done so much for us?

"Why?" my voice sounding a bit more betrayed than I would have liked, Oberyn pulls me back into a hug.

"It isn't even about him killing the king or running off with you, Tywin is raising all seven hells looking for him and his being here will only bring more problems. Jaime even agreed and is planning on heading to the rock, he sent word that he would head there soon." That makes sense but it doesn't mean I have to like it, Rhaenys will be sad he is gone.

"I see, I still don't like the idea of him going off to possibly be executed for something he did for me and my kids." Oberyn shakes his head.

"Tywin wouldn't let the Stag take his prized son's head, he will probably push him to finally take the heir position and shackle him to Casterly rock. Robert wouldn't be able to do anything to him if he is at Casterly rock and if Jaime does become lord of the Westerlands then that is best for you and the kids."

"Well, the old lion isn't ready to kick the bucket yet so it would be a while till then anyway." I don't want to think about the future right now, I just want my kids to grow up healthy and without the stress of reclaiming some ugly chair. My thoughts go once more to Lyanna, I hope she is fine and that the pregnancy was fine. I still don't understand why Rhaegar sent her to the tower of joy. And now the Kingsguard took her to Starfall, Doran sent a raven to get an update but we won't get a response till tomorrow.

"Momma?" I look over and see Rhaenys making her way over to us.

"Yes?" I lean over and pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck.

"Aegon woke up." I walk inside with Oberyn following behind me, I set Rhaenys down and pick Aegon up.

"How is my boy?" I kiss his cheek and he smiles and tries to grab my hair again, Oberyn laughs at my plight.

"Rhaenys would probably like to play with Arianne in the water garden, Tyene and some of my other girls would like it too." I shake my head.

"I am sure she would, but keep in mind she is only three name days." He nods and smiles as Rhaenys looks at him a little warily.

"Well, it's much better than the Ship." I smile seeing Viserys plop onto a cushion and let out a sigh.

"Your right about that." I sit on a cushion to the side of him and pull Shiera into my lap.

"Will we have to dye our hair? If so, can we dye them blue?" I run my hand through Shieras hair and hope not, blue is such an ugly color.

"We won't be dyeing our hair anytime soon, The Sealord approved our stay so long as we don't cause trouble, and if Aemmas plan works then we won't have to worry too much about assassins." Mother answerers as she Rocks Daenerys to sleep.

Aemmas father Jon Arryn had been sending ravens for her to come back to the Vale. The last one even promised that he would do all he could as the hand of the king to ensure that Rhaenyra would be safe. So she agreed and left Rhaenyra to be hidden away with us until she is confident that she will be safe in the Eyrie.

So if Jon Arryn keeps his word and prevents Robert from sending any assassins then we should be a lot safer than we thought we would be. That and Ser Barristan and Ser Willem Darry are very capable and are here with us as our guards.

With Aemma in the Veil, we would also have the support of the Veil after her father dies, given he doesn't put a son into his new wife Lysa. With the job of the hand of the king in kings landing I don't see him having much chance to do that anyway, and Lysa is also almost forty-name days younger than him and will most likely not seek him out.

"Momma, I am hungry." Shiera pulls on my sleeve as she holds her stomach with her other hand.

I turn to look at Viserys and Rhaenyra who are lazily laying on the cushions.

"Are you too hungry as well?" Viserys nods without getting up but Rhaenyra gets up and walks over.

"Malanda is probably back with some food if you want to see if she can make something for them." Mother answers as she sets Daenerys next to Eragon. "I need to talk to Ser Barristan anyway so if you can keep them busy for a little while." I set Shiera down and stretch as I stand up.

"Ok, let's go find Malanda and get some food." as I walk out of the room and look down the hall I spot the tacky big red door.

Starfall

Lyanna Stark

----

I laugh again thinking about how my brother near fainted when Ashara confronted him, poor Ned. He has so much to deal with all on his own now, well there is Benjen but he is even more helpless than Ned. I feel guilty when I think about home and Father and Brandon, if only things could have been different.

"I thought the mood swings stopped after pregnancy." I hear Ashara joke from the side and give her an eye roll. "What's got you feeling so complicated?" She kicks her feet up and gives an eager look.

"I was thinking about Ned almost passing out when you showed him Morgana." Her grin grows remembering herself. "Then I felt guilty putting all that responsibility on him when he left, he now knows the rebellion started because of a lie. If I had just said something first they wouldn't have thought I was spirited away and Brandon wouldn't have rushed to the capital demanding Rhaegars head." Her grin dies and it looks like she ate a lemon.

"Oh." She awkwardly looks anywhere but my eyes, a knock on the door saves us both from the awkward silence.

"Come in!" The door opens and Arthur walks in.

He gives proper greetings and me and his sister both just ignore him and wait for him to get to the point.

"Raven came from Sunspear, there were two messages and one was coded in a code that Rhaegar used. It was asking about your health after your stay in the tower of joy." Wouldn't that mean Elia had to send that message? Arthur seems to understand my confusion. "It would seem that Jaime has safely escorted Elia to Sunspear, I am not sure how to respond to this?"

I feel relieved knowing Elia made it to safety and if she is alive then so are her children because there is no way she would let something happen to them and live through the encounter. Visenyas Brother and sister are alive and she will be able to meet them when she is grown up enough to travel. Well, as long as the Kingsguard thinks it will be safe enough to travel to where they are.

"You can send back Me and the baby are fine if you think it's safe to, Elia was probably worried if she took the risk of getting in contact." That or it's a trap but if Arthur thinks the letter is real then it is most likely real. He wouldn't put Visenya in danger that much I am sure.

He nods and heads out the door.

Kings landing

Cersei Lannister

----

Father promised me I would be the Queen, he finally made good on his promise. Not to the King I thought but Robert is a good enough-looking man, doesn't beat my Jaime but it will be good enough.

Speaking of Jaime how could he run off with some Dornish whore?

Father is furious, I haven't ever seen him this mad, Mother just seems concerned and isn't even that mad from what I can tell.

"Cersei?" I turn around and a maid is standing at the door.

"Lady Joanna has asked for you in her chambers." What could mother want?

"Alright, I will be there in a moment." I prepare myself and set off for my mother's room.

----

"Mother?" I knock and hear her call for me to come in.

"Cersei, how are you faring?" I smile as I sit across from her.

"I am well mother, why do you ask?" She purses her lips and meets my gaze for a long moment before I look away.

"You know why I am asking you, you are worried about your brother." I don't dignify her with a response, he abandoned us, his own family. "You know it's fine to be worried, I am worried about him."

"He betrayed us, we are his own family and he ran away with that Dornish bitch when Father's army made it into the city. He even killed a few of fathers men that were trying to capture the Targaryens." She has a pained smile as she grabs my hand, I calm down and take a deep breath.

"Cersei, those men weren't trying to capture those kids and Elia, they were sent to kill them." Mother looks saddened, why though? they were our enemies, if father ordered them to be killed then it was the right move. If they live they will be a threat to my future children and their rule.

"What of it? if they live then they will be a threat to my children with the king in the future." She squeezes my hand.

"That doesn't mean that the kids should be murdered, they could marry your child in the future to strengthen their claim and end any Targaryen support once and for all. Some will say Robert is a usurper and some will cheer for the fall of the dragons, but both sides would approve of the union of the old with the new. That and the Martells would be settled and would have no reason to rise up in arms in the future since their blood would still sit on the throne." I would never have one of my children marry some Dornish freak.

"Well, it's too late for that at this point." She nods.

"It is, now if Jaime has escorted the children and Elia to Sunspear like I think he has then there will be war in the future if they get any support. And with the other Targaryens fleeing over the sea they might be able to find some in Essos." If they try anything then father will just beat them back and at that time none will escape.

"Father will end them if they try." she lets go of my hand and sits up straight.

"That he will, but as of now my priority is to get my son back." If he even wants to come back, he betrayed us so why would he come back?
