7 Bonus: The Little Chat.

Mog

I stopped in front of the large wooden double doors. It had three serpents carved into them, a symbol of my family. I had just dropped the princess Gora to her room, and now I stood in front of the demon king's chambers. The maids had told me he would be waiting for me here.

"Knock knock." I said as I entered the King's chambers. I regretted my actions immediately when I saw what Gorro was wearing. He had a black silk robe that was half open, showing off his man parts.

"What the hell are you doing?" I shouted at him. Getting a casual hello as his response. I always hated how caviler he could be. He covered up a bit and sat down at a prepared table. On the table were candles, wine, and an assortment of cheeses. He gestured for me to have a seat, so I reluctantly accepted. ( Is this idiot really trying to seduce me?) I thought.

"I have three questions. Number one, why choose to announce your heir at Gora's awakening." I asked Gorro as I sat across from him. Then I held up two-finger fingers.

"Number two, why didn't you consult the other Guardian beast or me about your decision? Number three. Who do you plan to choose as your heir?" I finished grabbing a glass of wine and gulping it down. The King looked at me with a smile on his handsome face. I crossed my arms and refused to get charmed by the demon.

"One, I figured this would kill two birds with one stone. I get everyone to attend my lovely daughter's birthday, and at the same time, I can end this rebellion that's been brewing since Gora's birth." The King said, holding up one finger. Now his smile was gonna replaced by a slight frown.

"Two, I made sure you were there to hear my announcement. I also spoke with the other two guardian beast. They were on board with it." He said with a smirk. I was surprised by his answer. My sisters didn't say anything to me. (What are they thinking?) I thought, pouring myself another glass of red wine. Although I wasn't shocked that they agreed with him. I was more surprised that they were able to hide it from me.

"Three I have no idea who Ill chose yet. Ill have to come up with an answer at Gora's awakening." Gorro finished taking a sip of his own wine. I wanted to slap the little fool. (He doesn't even know who to choose? Why am I surprised?) I thought, holding my head in frustration.

"Your choice will affect your daughter's future, you know?" I said, getting a little angry. It felt like he was utterly oblivious to his daughter's predicament. If he chose the wrong heir to the throne, then Gora will definitely become a target.

"I know all too well that's why I haven't been able to decide yet. Plus, it's not like I'm just going to die after choosing. I still got a few years left, you know? I'll protect Gora until my dying breath." The Demon King said, looking me in the eye with burning intensity. I got up to leave after hearing him say that. I didn't know what he was planning, but talks never work with the stubborn King.

" Iam glad t o hear you say that, know that I too will protect her with my life as well even if I have to kill you to do it." I said, leaking my killer intent. I wanted the Gorro to know that when it comes to that little girl. I would give my very life to make sure she was safe.

"I know." Was the man's only replay. I nodded and opened the door to leave.

"Oh, and talk to your daughter about her mother. It's time the princess knew the truth." I said, leaving the room. I had to go prepare and couldn't waste any more time. With the amount of food Gora had been consuming lately. Her awakening was going to be big. I need all the energy I can get to make sure she survived the ordeal. That also meant I had to leave her in the care of one of my sisters, something I didn't like doing.
