Blending in.

The Silver Bliss inn was located close to the middle of the city, and despite the grandness of the entrance, the inn was pretty quiet. This was naturally because of the cost. No normal person would ever stay in an inn like this. But Arthur had plenty of money. A spirit crystal could be exchanged for around a thousand gold. And a thousand gold was enough for Arthur to stay in the Silver Bliss inn for quite a while.

The service in the inn was amazing, and Arthur had a hard time getting out of bed once morning came the day after. The Silver Bliss inn had an area for training in the back, where Arthur spent his morning, familiarising himself a bit more with all of his techniques. Since it was so early in the morning, there was no one else there, and he could enjoy the fresh, yet slightly cold breeze by himself.

After working up a sweat, he went back to his room and took a shower, before cultivating for a while. At the rate he was currently progressing, it would probably take him a few days before he could advance to stage four of the body-refining realm. Although a few days isn't a lot of time, Arthur knew that the further he got on the road of cultivation, the harder it would get to make breakthroughs. If it already took him a few days to break through a minor realm in the beginning, then once he had broken through to the qi-refining realm, how long would it take him to progress just a minor realm?

A few months? A year maybe? Naturally, that was too long for Arthur. For a normal genius, that was enough, but for Arthur, who knew that there was a bigger world outside of this continent, such a cultivation speed was a bit too slow for him. Luckily for him, he had a system that could provide him with resources. Normally people would have to join a sect to get access to a good amount of resources since most sects had way more stuff than what was on the market, but Arthur liked his freedom, and with the help of his system, he could do whatever he wanted.

Since the day before when he arrived at the inn, Arthur had managed to get another 13 points, and he had managed to confirm a few things. Most importantly was that he didn't need to lose anything or give something away to earn points, all that he really needed to do was spread positivity. Secondly, he could earn more points based on what kind of compliment he gave someone. A compliment that was tailored for a specific person would net him more points. Lastly, just because he was nice to someone and complimented them, points were by no means guaranteed.

Since that was the case, Arthur had gotten a vague idea about how he would proceed in this world. His primary goal, for now, was to get some new clothes and information. His long term goal, however, was to spread as much positivity as possible. This world was pretty different to his own, and people were not as accommodating as his previous life, but Arthur wanted to change that, even if just a little. The further people got on the road of cultivation, the less they cared for lower realms, and common people were no different from ants in their eyes.

But to Arthur, something like that seemed absurd. And he wanted to show the people of the world that someone with high cultivation could care for others, and who knew? Maybe some others would follow suit if he started doing it. After asking around a little, Arthur managed to find a good shop that sold high-quality clothes. Since he was planning on using them while he trained, and probably when he fought as well, they needed to be very sturdy.

Since that was the case, he managed to buy some clothes after looking around for a while, but not without paying a pretty penny. Clad in green robes, Arthur's temperament changed greatly. He changed from a weirdo to a handsome young warrior. After he left the shop, he realised that people still gave him weird looks.

"So it had nothing to do with my clothes huh? Then what? Do I look any different from my old self?"

When he really thought about it, he hadn't even bothered to find out what he looked like yet. He just assumed that he looked the same as he did when he was younger. Oh well, finding out what was wrong with his looks wasn't that much of a priority, for now, he still wanted to find out more about this world, especially where he was.

It didn't take him long to find out some general information, such as where he was, and some general knowledge about the cultivation world. He was currently in the fairly remote city of brille, located far west in the Gentle Skies Kingdom. Although Arthur thought the name was a little odd for a kingdom, he found out that it was apparently named after its founder, a cultivator who called himself senior gentle sky. After he grew tired of the life of a cultivator, he created a kingdom for himself, that today had grown into a large nation.

The Gentle Skies Kingdom was actually considered one of the smallest kingdoms on the Purple Thunder Continent. But despite being small, it was still fairly prosperous, and the normal people lived here happily. The only problem was a lack of cultivation resources, which meant that there was also a lack of strong cultivators. However, that was only if you compared them to other countries, compared to the common people, the cultivators that existed in the gentle skies kingdom was basically akin to legends.

A cultivator in the qi-refinement realm was enough for an entire family to prosper. The city that Arthur was currently in was dominated by 2 large families. And the biggest reason behind this was that both of these families had a qi-refinement cultivator on their side. The difference between body-refining and qi-refining was merely a single realm, yet the difference in strength and treatment was pretty immense.

A cultivator in the qi-refining realm could move their qi outside of their bodies, and attack from a distance. This represented a big jump in strength, since not only were they stronger and had way more qi, but they could also use it to attack from a distance. This made it so that a body-refining realm cultivator had practically no chance of resisting someone at the qi-refining realm.

Arthur was a bit different than most though since his techniques were way better than most cultivators.
