Goodbye to a Magical World

Chapter 1: I Quit!

A world that grants you power and grace. A world of evil and monsters and devils. Where humans with great power must stand out among the rest to save the world.

Kuza Seth the hero of this story. Graced with the power of the gods. And written in many tales. He is the destined hero to save the world.

"Keep going, we can do this!!!" running out of shadows with burning hell fire launching at him. With his black hair and golden eyes. He charges towards a monster unseen to be defeated. Two girls carrying a magic cannon follow behind him, aiming it at the beast devil like creature follow. Both of cat like race, one golden furred and one of black. He stops planting his foot into the dirt. And with sword in hand points at the beast with a grin of cockiness.

"Later bastard!" he activates the cannon summoning his legendary sword. With a blast shot from the cannon a beam shoots through the monsters heart. It goes down with a single blow. "Nice job Kuza" the girls say together pushing against Kuza. "It's nothing much just another mid-level devil giant".

"For sure master Kuza". Both grin

"Just be careful next time okay Coffee and Vanilla." Both nod

"It's getting dark lets go home".

They make there way back to the castle where a group of 12 girls attack Kuza. "Hey let go!", "You let gO!" the girls pull at Kuza as he tries to get to his room. "HeY Go EasY, STOPP ITT!". The hero Kuza, destined by fate to defeat the demon king. The hero to this story.

But sadly this is not our main protagonist. You really thought that was the true main character. Sure he has the stereo type black hair and features. But I said hero, not main protagonist. Our main protagonist is…

*Sigh* another attack huh?"

Name: Shinju Ash Lex.

Age: 16

Hair: Blonde

Eyes: Blue

Magic: Shadow

Skill: Swordsmanship, Athletic

"Oh man what a pain always supporting that lame brained hero".

3 years ago… "I will be strong and I will be the motivation for Shinja aka (younger brother)".

Sadly that never happened it turned out that Kuza became his brothers motivation instead of Shinju.

Since he is the hero and all. Shinju takes care most of Kuza's handy work killing minor monsters and beast that he has no time for and leaves behind. He get's zero praise from anyone, especially his own family.

"Shinju ASH LEX!!!, where were you?!"

This is his mother, with her black hair and green eyes which matched her apron. She looks younger then she really is, but that's just in the family. Being the wrath of most of the house.

With a father which was quiet most of the time, he just follows behind his wife's lead. FYI both working in the flower business.

"I was helping the fearless hero ma! What do you want!"

"Yeah right only if you were more like him then maybe you would be making this family name worth something".

"Tch…!" Getting to his room slamming his door he layed spread out on his bed. Kuza, KUza, KUza! All about Kuza. I wasn't given power or high rank or tragedy. Why can't I have been born in a world without great powers or gifted. Where you have to work for power. I hate it here.

As he finished his thought, he heard a voice whisper out to him.

"Do you want to leave this world?"

He turned and set himself up and looked around his empty room.

"Who's there?"

As he stood up from his bed, a glow came from the corner of the ceiling of his room.

A cat like creature came pouncing out toward him..

"What are you!?" Shinju said jumping backward

"Nice to meet you, I have heard your wish."

Confused Shinju didn't know what to say.

"What are you exactly?"

"Rude, hmm… your kind call me an angel I believe".

Still confused Shinju sat back on his bed.

I've heard about these things in stories and fiction I didn't know they actually existed.

"Okay Mr.Angel why are you here?"

"Please just call me Ju, you said you want to leave this world right?"

Without hesitation Shinju jumped off his bed and dropped to his knees.

"Yes please, please I want out, I want a place where I can live a normal life without magic powers and special givens." As he finished his rant, he remembered of the tales hes been read about angels as a kid. Always wanting things in return.

"Wait, whats the catch?"

As he looked up at the cat, it gave him a evil grin.

"No catch, just want help a simple child in-need of more."

In even more hesitation, he began to think about his family. But the more he thought, the more Kuza got into his head. The monsters he was chased by, the respect for him gone, and the girl he loved taken by Kuzas charms.

He looked back up to the cats grin. Hell what else.

And with a returned grin.

"Hell what do I got to lose. Take me wherever, as long as it's far from this place."

"Well that was easier then I thought. Alright here we go kid!". And with a flip of the cats tail, a light portal opened under Shinju and Ju's feet, forcing both to fall.

"Ohhh crap!"

"Time for some fun Shinju kid!"

They both launched through the milky portal.

"You crazy cat, I'm not immortal!!!"

Both began their fall into the portal to the magic-less world. A world of no magic, but a world of many dreams. And as for Shinju with his smile filled with fear "Goodbye, you lame world of MAGiCCC!!!"
