Talented Me! 17

After letting them know a little bit more of the task, Tasha went back to adjusting her workstation. Her movements were experienced and relaxed. One hand held the camera while the other was typing away on the computer adjusting the light intensity.

Avina looked over at the clothes rack and pointed towards it. Sandra nodded back and headed towards it. The two of them flipped through the articles of clothing and shifted through the arrangements of clothing.

Different styles were featured on the rack and each of them was part of the latest trends. From sporty outerwear and minimalistic articles, there was not a single one missing.

"What about this one?" Sandra lifted a white blouse. Her head tilted past the rack looking at Wilona.

"We can do a black and white theme."

Wilona looked at the blouse and then started to flip through the rack again. Her hands landed on a black blouse, and she picked it out.

"Sure! Sounds like a good plan to me!"

Sandra handed the white blouse to Wilona and accepted the black one in her hands. They quickly exchanged the pants as well and headed towards the changing room. Not a few minutes later, the two of them walked out.

Coming from the left side, Sandra's shoes tapped against the floor. She wore a black halter top blouse with a crimped collar circling her neck. Her pants were pure white with an ironed mid-line contrasting the black vividly. Sandra's figure was relaxed but tall and her head tilted to the side. The black collar elongated her leaning neck creating an illusory effect of perfection.

Wilona came from the right side wearing the white blouse. On its neckline was a satin ribbon which she tied into a bow. It hung against her cheek draping her shoulders. Her black pants billowed from her waist and stopped short at her ankles. Peeping from inside was a stunning pair of heels tied with thin black leather.

The two of them met in the middle giving a short smile in exchanged and headed to the booth. Both their actions were in synced and meshed together beautifully.

Tasha saw them coming and the moment her eyes met their matching outfits, her eyes sparkled. Her hands gripped the camera in excitement and quickly shoved them into the booth. Camera clicks flew as Tasha's praises rained down.

Sandra's movements shifted every few seconds changing her poses. Wilona matched Sandra's speed and her poses were not inferior either. Both of them were competing against each other but never did their positions clashed. It was a type of rivalry that boosted each other's competence.

Sandra had never felt such a sense of friendly competitiveness before. With every other model she had worked with, it was always a rivalry of who outshined the other. Wilona was different. Her poses pushed for the best image capturable, and there was a connection between them.

Never had she expected Wilona to bring such a surprise to the show. Her aura subconsciously leaked out and it fought for dominance in the booth. Wilona's starting to show her innate talent, and the two of them fiercely fought to claim dominance.

Slowly, everyone's attention was captured by the two ladies showing off their skills. Clashes of white and black moved elegantly against another showing the best highlights of their body. Murmurs of awe erupted in the set, and slowly every camera was pushed to their station. Their actions captivated the entire crowd, and they knew non the wiser.

A storm of inspiration was brewing between the two, and they wished time stopped then. It was a rush of euphoria attacking them both finding their inspiration for each pose against each other's. Flurries of poses erupted inside of them, and dozens of photos were taken.

Tasha knew from the moment she would have the chance to take pictures of the Queen of Modelling, she would have a blast. Never did she expect a black horse to come visit and make the experience even more thrilling. Her hands never stopped clicking away and her praises were a current of respect.

"Good! Wonderful! Fantastic! Just like that!" Tasha's voice echoed in the seemly quiet space.

There were no movements except for the three of them. Everyone stopped their work to just stare at the marvel happening in front of them. It was unexpected, but no one denied it was exciting.

A newbie against the Queen of Modelling! And she wasn't losing half a beat either! It was a legendary feat worth watching, and no one was prepared to miss it!

Graham looked over at the spectacle meters away from him, and his hunch was proven correct. This girl had a talent in her blossoming in full view. It didn't take much for it to bloom into a full flower, but it was also this wonderfulness that it was easy to take advantage of.

He had seen too much talent buried in depths of destruction just because it was not managed correctly. If Wilona had any plans of entering the entertainment world, she needed to learn how to nurture her talents carefully. If she wanted to, he was willing to shoulder the torrents of storms. That is, if she so desired so.

Soon, the timer sounded off and marked the end of the shoot. Luckily, the contestants each had a few photos to choose from even when distracted by Wilona and Sandra. Everyone crowded against their photographers' shoulders choosing the best-looking photo out of the group.

Tasha flipped through the hundreds of photos she took, and couldn't find a single one that was terrible. Each of them had its own unique charm, and it seemed to be a shame to choose just one of them.

"Wow! You guys did great," Tasha showed the two a couple of photos. "I don't know which one is the best. They're all so good!"

"I don't know which one to choose either," Sandra said. Her eyes scanned each picture flying through the screen. Not one of them was similar to the other, each having different poses and feelings.

"I never expected Wilona to be so talented," Sandra looked up from all the photos at Wilona.

Wilona blushed at the compliment before shyly wiggling in place. It was a different charm from when she was modeling. The vast sea of confidence shining then disappeared to reveal the calm waves of purity in her.

"I can't compare to you, Sandra."

Sandra patted Wilona's shoulders before pulling her closer to the camera.

"My dear, when I first started, I couldn't even compare to you!" Sandra exclaimed.

"Which photo do you think is the best?" Sandra pointed to one of them. "This one perhaps?"

Wilona rubbed her chin intently looking at each of them. Hundreds of photos were in front of her and none of them were bad either. It was hard to just choose one of them.

"This one?" Wilona pointed to the last photo amongst the many.

"I think this one is the best."

It was a photo of Sandra and Wilona hooking arms. At their side, their other arm buried shallowly into their pockets. Both of them stood straight up but it had a relaxed touch to it. Their eyes stared deep into the cameras shadowing their intentions, but a brief haughtiness exuded out. Sandra had a classic elite feeling to hers, but Wilona's felt like a rich second generation.

Both of their auras meshed together perfectly complimenting each form and trait. The plain white background contrasted vividly against their articles of clothing. Black and white, maturity but simplicity, it was a combination full of charm and elegance.

"That one is pretty good," Sandra scanned the entire image. There was not a single flaw to be seen, it was perfect!

"Let's go with this one then."

Tasha, receiving the approval of the two, began to lighting edit the photo before sending it off to be judged. Her work was done in mere seconds because there was nothing much to edit.

She breathed out a sigh of relief before waving Wilona and Sandra away. There was nothing left to do but wait for the voting to be over.

"And we are done ladies! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take such great photos! Hope to see you two once more modeling! And I hope to be the one to take the photos!"

Tasha gave the two a grand hug and returned back to cleaning the set. A huge part of her energy was drained taking so many photos, but it was invigorating to work with such talented people!

Wilona and Sandra walked back to the line and continued waiting for the other contestants. They were the first ones to be done, and their only company was each other. The two continued their early discussion about cats.

"So has Toffee been able to make any other friends?"

Sandra sighed out in defeat before rambling on about Toffee's attitude problems.

"That boy can't seem to make any friends. Can't share a few treats nor rubs, how does he expect to make friends."

Toffee, unlike his pleasant name, had a terrible attitude. Other than Sandra, he refused to be in the presence of any one else. No amount of pleading nor begging could make the grumpy cat be any nicer.

"I have a cat at home. Maybe the two of them could try to be friend?" Wilona suggested.

Avina's gears starting to turn thinking of different ways to become closer to Sandra. Although a part of her felt bad for using Sandra, a part of her also knew it was a good idea to ride the coattails a little bit. Plus, 5025 would love to have another friend, even if it was a feline.

"But I don't think Toffee would be nice to your cat," Sandra sighed in defeat.

She knew her young feline well. Not a single thing could coax him into playing nice with others. She didn't want Wilona's cat to be hurt by Toffee.

"We never know! Maybe the two of them will become the bestest friends!" Avina continued to push. She couldn't stop just now!

"Well..." Sandra thought about it a little more. There was no harm in trying. Plus, who knows, it might just work.

"Alright. I guess we'll have to set a playdate between the two."

Another chapter! Also, important info, I added new info for schedule changes in Author Intro/Diary. Don't know if you can see it, but basically, I'll be increasing updates in March. Thank you for reading! :)
