Ledona looked at James eagerly. She was waiting for him to agree with her.

How could James understand Ledona's complex thoughts? He wasn't even looking at her anymore.

James didn't think the conversation would take an awkward turn. He didn't know who to look at either, so he directed his sights to his shoes.

"Don't you think so?" Ledona asked as she moved around James. She was trying to find a place where she could see James' face.

James continued avoiding her. He didn't want to look at her and stumbled to say, "Well, um-"

Avina sighed. Looking at how troubled James was feeling, she didn't have the heart to leave him alone. Stepping up, she blocked Ledona from bothering James.

"Haven't you had enough of this?" Avina said sternly. "Isn't this quite embarrassing for you?"

Ledona clenched her hands to her side. She glared at Avina. "I don't understand what you're saying. Me and James were having a good conversation until you stepped in."
