They say the day I was born, the sky lit up with a light so brilliant and bright, people thousands of miles away could see it. The angels sang for my birth, and the world rejoiced. I was proclaimed the child of God. Or at the very least, someone beloved by God.
And I believed it. One reason must have been my innate pride, but the other reason was fairly humble. I was born with the strongest light ability known to my race, the Light Fairies.
From the day I learned to walk to the start of my adolescence, I was made to be aware of my powers and to be able to properly control them. And I felt an obligation to follow the will of my elders. I never dared to disobey their commands. That is, until I met him.
He was a human - weak creatures filled with greed. At least, that's what I had thought of humans. But the more I came to understand him, the more I realized that even humans had depth.
