17 Chapter 17

As soon as Severus returned Lily home, before that slightly tweaking her memories, he began to work on the potion.

He started a conversation with the girl for only one purpose: to understand what kind of person she really was, and this disappointed him a little.

After all, instead of the cunning fox, which the Archmage considered her to be, she turned out to be an ordinary fool, who was too afraid to dirty her hands. And Severus knew one thing for sure, that people like her never live long, so he didn't have to do anything: she herself would find her death, or someone would help in this matter.

Therefore, he simply threw the conversation out of his head, completely surrendering to his work ...

---

Looking at the black sludge in the cauldron, the man clicked in displeasure. "As I expected, although they look very similar to those in my world, due to the weaker magical background, some plants have weaker properties, so I will have to slightly modify the formula ... eh ... I should have guessed. I just wasted my money," the young man muttered displeasedly, taking out the second set of ingredients and proceeding to study them.

Severus is not the first to engage in Potions, because, in addition to the knowledge of Severus himself, he himself once studied Alchemy - an analogue of Potions - and even achieved good results.

Having fully completed the entry-level program, he knew the names of more than ten thousand herbs and even their properties. So it wasn't a big deal for him to edit the recipe, thanks to Severus's knowledge,

---

And now, after six hours, there was a thick dark green mixture in the cauldron, which smelled of herbs with a predominant mint smell.

"Three times weaker ... although I shouldn't have expected more from these ingredients," he transferred the contents of the cauldron to a jar and, immediately cleaning it, proceeded to the second batch, because for his training and "baptism" he would need ten servings: exactly for a month , for every three days due to the weaker effect of the potion.

Several herbs immediately flew up to the wizard, right into the flames burning in his palm, and at the same time, water began to appear in the cauldron, and several other herbs hovered over it.

As soon as the water began to show signs of boiling, with a slight gust of wind, the herbs were crushed to a state of powder and sank into the cauldron.

The herbs hanging over the fire began to crack in exactly ten minutes, and this served as a sign for Severus to take out a drop of Kelpa's blood from a small vial, and at the same second, he displaced a drop of transparent liquid from the dried herbs that began to merge with the blood, emitting a turquoise glow.

In the cauldron, already a thick pale green mixture began to boil, so the Archmage proceeded to the final part, taking out the last two ingredients.

They were two herbs, one black, emitting dark miasma, and the other light, reeking of mint.

As soon as these two herbs "met", a real war began: as if alive, they began to emit auras, trying to suppress each other.

Both like sworn enemies "lashed" at each other, but neither of them was able to take up. But in the next moment, the red drop, which had previously hovered in the air, rushed to the light grass and entered it.

At the same moment, red lines appeared on the plant, pulsing like veins, and the previously light aura turned into crimson and began to suppress the dark one. And in a minute, the dark grass began to dry out due to the fact that the light grass was pumping strength out of it.

In less than ten minutes, almost nothing was left of the first one, and at the same moment, with a slight gust of wind, the "winner" was cut into hundreds of pieces ... "The one who invented this strengthening potion is really a sadist…" pieces of grass under an indifferent look Severus fell into the cauldron, which immediately smelled of mint, at the same time, the wizard moved the empty jars to the corner of the room and took out another set of exactly the same ingredients.

"Fifteen more minutes, while we can see what Bella is doing. Maybe she's in a meeting with the Death Eaters right now." Covering his eyes he concentrated on the seal in the woman's body, and the next moment a satisfied and slightly obscene smile appeared on his face ... After all, at that time the sorceress was in the bathroom washing her hair while two washcloths wandered over her magnificent body. Severus couldn't take his eyes off her proudly "standing" chest and cherry-colored peas, which seemed to beckon; from a thin waist, elastic ass and long slender legs.

The contemplation of this beautiful spectacle caused the wizard a strong excitement, and if he was next to her at the moment, he could hardly restrain himself and at the same moment would "attack" her.

"Eh ... hormones ... as if I had returned at sixteen ..." the young man thought with nostalgia, getting rid of the obsession and opening his eyes, he shook his head.

"Still, I'm not a pervert," muttered the wizard, glancing at his watch out of the corner of his eye, memorizing the time so that, of course, in the future, it would be impossible to accidentally see her taking a shower again ….Yes, so that he doesn't peek on her by accident. He absolutely does not want to watch her again at this same time.

The Archmage finished the tenth and last portion of the strengthening potion closer to twelve o'clock in the morning and almost immediately went to his room, because during that day he was quite tired not physically, but mentally, because he constantly had to concentrate on the potion and use magic. Of course, the constant use of magic is useful, but you still need to give the magic core a break.

The next day for Severus began with a guest appearing near his bed. In the first seconds, as soon as he felt that someone had made his way through his barrier using teleportation, the wizard was already preparing to meet the intruder with a portion of the flame, but still he managed to stop in time when he saw the guest in the face of a small bald creature that looked like an old man with huge eyes and in a rag instead of clothes.

He immediately remembered the Malfoys, whom he had already seen before, and the pile of books in his hands confirmed this.

"Dobby's master ordered Dobby to hand over these books…" the creature quickly explained timidly, noticing the annoyance on the wizard's sleepy face.

"What time is it?"

"T-ten o'clock!"

"Here it is… but why so early?"

"…Dobby's Master ordered…"

"Okay, what's your name?"

"D-dobby!" Dropping its ears, the creature looked at him with fear.

"Good, make me coffee before you leave," falling back on the bed, the wizard said, and the creature disappeared at the same moment.

But ten seconds had not passed before it reappeared beside the bed, holding a tray with a cup of coffee, a plate of scrambled eggs and a small vase with one rose.

"Ohh, you're quick." the wizard nodded, having tasted coffee for a start, and then looked with slight surprise at the excited house elf.

"Excellent coffee," Severus drawled with a satisfied smile, patting the head of the cringing creature a couple of times, which shuddered every time, and then, realizing that they would not scold him, looked at the smiling wizard in surprise. "D-dobby is happy to serve the Master's friend…" "Uh-huh, thank you, I'll clean everything up later, you're free."

It nodded timidly again and disappeared, leaving only Severus drinking coffee. "I understand now,"

---

It was not until dinner time that the wizard put down the third book on the subject and finally got out of bed. And no, of course, Severus wanted to read everything at once, but he was disturbed again, and it was an owl knocking on the window.

"Today is some kind of open day…" the Archmage muttered tiredly, opening the window and taking the envelope, turned the bed into a chair and sat down at the table, and a feathered creature landed on his shoulder,

"Well, sir… Macmillan… apparently, they finally finished explore my toy," after reading the very first words from the letter, the young man smiled contentedly, because it was a request for a meeting, and that they were very interested in his artifact, and then there were mainly questions about the thing itself and how many of them are available, as well as please write the next date when they can meet and discuss the price.

Even though the person who sent it tried to look rather discreet in the letter, but Severus understood that the person was looking forward to the meeting and the opportunity to discuss their deal as quickly as possible so that no one else could get ahead of them.

Nevertheless, such protective artifacts in this turbulent time will be a very necessary thing.

"Hmm… I think it's quite possible to meet tomorrow, but today I want to finish studying Legilimency and Occlumency…" the mage muttered, stroking his chin, and then, taking a sheet of paper from the table, wrote an answer with the meeting place and time.

"Fly and take it back," putting the letter in an envelope, Severus handed it to the owl, which immediately flew away, and the wizard himself sat down at the table and again continued to study the books given to him by Malfoy… …
