5 -Will you let me be your papa?- Chapter 5

As Lucy sat natsu in the chair next to hers forgetting already their relationship hasn't yet been circulated yet, lucy flinched as Erza called her name.

"Lucy, where have you been? Me and Grey haven't seen you since yesterday, is everything alright?"

"Ah! Oh I'm fine I was just tending some matters yesterday and also taking care of natsu he has been sick these past 2 days."

"Oh.. but natsu never gets sick.."

"Hehehe that's what I been telling Lucy since we started da- oof!"

*lucy had slammed her right elbow into his clearly open ribs as he suddenly lost a second of breath as natsu curled up to cope with the sudden pain*

"Oh wow HAHAHA your so funny natsu!"

*lucy got some suspicious stares from Erza, Happy, Wendy, and Carla as they all sweat dropped at how lucy had hurt a already 'sick' natsu*

"OI FIRE BREATH! RUNNING FROM A FIGHT ALREADY!!! I WASNT FINISHED TALKING TO YOU EARLIER!!"

*ahhh when things couldn't get any worse Grey who knew of them had to come now.*

"I didn't run from a fight, Ice prick… I just didn't want to wait for you to get dressed like a girl."

"It's not my fault my clothes seemed to come off on their own you flames for no brains!!!"

"HUH?! You WaNnA GoOooo?!!"

"You BET FucKer!!"

"*WHAM!*"

Now it was lucy and the gangs turn to sweat drop as they saw Erza knock both boys to the ground with both her armed fist.

"Tch.. when will they both grow up? Anyways I wanted to go on a fun mission. I thought it was about time we should take some easy missions for a while."

*lucy quickly nodded in agreement as she thought this would be good for her and the baby. She blushed a bit as she touched her abdomen feeling warm just now thinking about how her baby will begin to show it self in some weeks from now…

HOW WAS SHE GONNA TELL

THE GUILD THIS NOW?!?*

*her train of thought halted as natsu got back up and flung his arm over lucy leaning all his weight on her as a habit now. Nobody really paid no mind to this because it was normal' for both of them to be this touchy with each other, especially natsu.*

"Basterd.. so when are you gonna say it natsu or you gonna keep everyone guessing?"

*finally Grey blurted the comment out to natsu infront of everyone but also have some respect since he wasn't all bad and mean to natsu. If anything they only got in brawls because they would get annoyed of each other.*

"Hmm… I don't know I'll have to wait and see if theirs a decision made yet."

*natsu also followed along with Grey to make the subject as ominous as possible.*

"What decision? What are you talking about natsu?"

*asked Wendy who sat across from where natsu took his seat with Lucy. She sat next to Erza and Carla while Grey took the seat on the other side of lucy.*

"Don't worry about it wendy, *natsu gave out a prized fangy smile* if anything it would be good news to the guild."

"Hmmm I don't like secrets in the guild, if anything just let it out already Natsu and tell us if you don't wish to tell the guild. We are your team mates"

*Erza demanded in a officer voice twords natsu already knowing it had something to do with Lucy since she saw lucy act suspicious from the start.*

*natsu shuddered at the tone but just backed off from speaking back about it and instead just gave out another 'nudge' or 'hint' only lucy would understand.*

"Hmm I don't know Erza, I would if it was my problem but since I'm not working alone on it I have to wait till the other party agrees to let everyone know about it."

*he lifted his arm off of lucy now as he brought both hands behind his head and leaned into his seat in a lazy leaning way.*

"This is what I don't understand from humans honestly if their was a conflict of secrecy wouldn't it be better if to just let it all out in one go? Goodbye Wendy I'm going to leave for a bit I don't want to hear about this anymore."

*with that Carla flew off to only get stopped by happy by the guild doors presenting her a pretty pink gold fish he had found at the pond nearby and followed her out with its tank in its little arms.*

"I'm sorry for Carla's behavior, it's just she doesn't like secrets between friends. But don't worry Natsu if you can't tell us now you don't have to go out of your way to worry about it we can wait."

"Thanks Wendy, .."

Suddenly their was a pause in the group that was building tension.

For starters Erza was glaring at lucy not in angry manner but in a focused state wondering what the 'secret' could be. Then there was Grey who was eating and as he took another bite his stomach began to twist and turn again. Man he really didn't want to go to the bathroom again but it seemed like something he ate that morning had tooken a toll in his stomach. Then there was Wendy she was just worrying more about how Carla would be or if she was alright and also stressing out as to why natsu had a suspicious grin on his face? And finally lucy and natsu…. Lucy was turning a light tint of pink as she felt natsu hand pinch at her thigh. Why THE FUCK WOULD HE DO THAT OF ALL DAYS!! And would it be alright if she told everyone in their group about natsu's and her relationship? If anything it wouldn't change anything plus she felt bad Wendy was being very understanding and was of course a wind dragon slayer, if Gajeel could figure it out with scents and common sense so could Wendy. And then when Lucy looked up to see Erza's glare, she had already met death. Yeah she should go ahead and come clean now or never. But as she was about to speak up in a moment she felt another pinch on her thigh as natsu now placed his hand on top of Lucy's leg. >_<''

'I'm so getting you later natsu'

*Natsu used this tense atmosphere to pressure luce to telling him what she told levy. He knows it was about something dealing about their relationship. Hehe plus lucy was becoming more and more of a red flush as time drew by slowly. He couldn't help but smile a bit and knew he fucked up when he saw Wendy catch him smiling.

'Well shit'

He pinched Lucy's leg twice asking her if she was gonna go or if she was gonna say something but he noticed she wasn't getting the signals at the moment because she just grew a brighter red now. Shit if he couldn't get Lucy out of here Wendy would find out of them and it would be very hard for Wendy to fend off a fire breathing Erza. He placed his hand on her leg now in attempt to shake her a bit for her to turn to him to signal her to 'let's go' but stopped when he smelled something that sent a heavy weight down his gut. He smelled her 'arousal'

'shit' was all he thought as he lost all common sense that very moment.*

Everyone in the table got startled as natsu got up so fast his chair got thrown back then he proceeded to grab Lucy's shoulders and mutter something about

"Hahaha lucy your playing with fire now!"

And carried Lucy over his shoulder with a panicking lucy who was trying her best to not have her stomach pressed so much and telling natsu to let her go. At the same time they saw the same thing happen with Grey as he stood up now. His seat went flying this time and ran straight to the bathroom holding on to his dear lives butt. Wendy and Erza sweatdrop as they tried to process what had just happened?

-Down the street towards Lucy's apartment-

Natsu had managed to carry Lucy on his shoulder all the way to her apartment even though she was throwing light punches at his head but more trying keep her stomach off his shoulder which he found it strange but that's not what he was worried right now. What he wanted to know was why was lucy so different now, first her new smells of perfume that had hidden her original scent of vanilla he loved so much, then their was her leaving abruptly to 'Levy's' when he had seen Gajeel shopping for groceries. Gajeel wasn't the type to leave his mate alone especially when she was pregnant now he would always be either hidden far away enough for her to not notice when she wanted to be alone or stay by her side. Then finally this, lucy knew and DAMN right knew that her arousal drew him crazy especially when they were intimate or they were sometimes in public. And her not giving him a straight lucy kick when he had thrown her over his shoulder just meant that she was 'planning' this from the start to rile him up.

'Well it finally worked luce'

Lucy didn't know where they were heading but knew if she were to put pressure on her stomach she was at risk of miscarriage especially due to her damaged walls the doctor had told her about and now she knew natsu was planning to get to friendly with her, which she didn't mind but she can't now, she can't lose their baby like this! She had to say something now before they made it to her apartment door.

"Natsu!! Please let me down gently! Please I'm begging you!"

"Lucy, you know you have been acting weird and have been hiding something from me I don't like it so wait till we get inside then we can talk."

"Okay okay natsu! But please let me down or carry me in a different way! This is bad for me in this state now!"

"Why luce?! I always carry you like this at times why now are you making a fuss. If you really wanted down you would have kicked me now or hit me with your

fists!"

"NATSU ITS BECAUSE IM PREGNANT!!!!"

"What?"

*natsu quickly brought her down from his shoulder gently to the ground now as he cautiously was now more mindful of where his hands and fingers pressed on her waist and stomach. He looked down at Lucy's face taking a few glance at what her body language was trying to tell him but she was closed off. She was blushing madly now but she had some tears in her eyes that told him she was in pain somewhere… oh no did he hurt her on the walk to her apartment no, no, no, no, no, she couldn't be hurt now! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Natsu! What was he thinking on carrying her like that! He began to tremble as he thought back to his dream of carrying a small baby dragon in his arms that was dead. Did this mean he killed their child? No he can't lose his first child now! Especially now that he knows why he sensed Lucy so different! Shit he has to take her to a hospital now.*

On the outside he was just as still as a statue as he stared at lucy who was looking down to the side with tears in her eyes. She didn't know why she was crying, maybe that was a sign that their baby would be a crybaby like her, or that the hormones where starting to make a appearance. But then as she looked up she saw natsu's face twist that of rage to sadness to that of happiness then to dread. At the same time his eyes had flickered on to the yellow gold he would get when he was in a fight as right after he bend down forward grabbing Lucy's legs from the back of her knee and sweeping her off her feet in a princess carry position as he started to make a run for it twords a unknown location this time.

*lucy snapped out of the daze like dream state as she felt the sudden lift in the air and wind hitting her face.*

"NATSU!!! WHERE ARE WE GOING!!!"

"We are going to the hospital luce don't worry I'll save you both!"

*lucy was a bit taken a back at how he sounded a bit scared when he replied to her but she needed to stop natsu to talk with him now*

"Natsu! Please let's just stop for a bit and talk let's clear up some misunderstandings!"

"No! I can't l-lucy! We can talk at the hospital after they make sure the baby is fine and I didn't hurt you in anyway!"

*lucy flinched as she remembered that she had some damage tissue in her walls because of natsu and she didn't want natsu to know about this but also she didn't want to lose her baby if yes maybe the way natsu carried her did somehow harm the baby. So she just stood quiet as they made it back to the hospital.*

-At the hospital after an examination-

*Natsu was relieved to hear the baby was healthy, strong and kicking but had dread when he was told off by the doctor that he should 'keep his dick in his pants if he wants to have his baby born on time and not before time' as he learned of the damages in Lucy's entrance and walls needed to be healed.*

*lucy just layed there looking at the pictures they had tooken of the baby and it was so tiny still. She couldn't help but feel happy that natsu now knows about the baby.. but that also meant he would be constantly cautious with her and wouldn't be himself anymore. Sure it was fun to have a overprotective husband caring for his pregnant wife but if that meant that he would change who he was in a unnatural relationship she would have kept the secret till she was to big to keep it a secret. She thought that it was petty of her to keep it from him for such a lame excuse but hey! She liked to be petty and picky sometimes. Soon after she saw a stranger with pink hair hiding behind her curtain they used to cover for privacy holding a bunch of flowers in his hands waiting till she called for him.*

"Natsu?"

"Yes?"

"Come here."

*he came in now with his flowers behind him making a romantic scene of a sweaty guy who looked like he went to pluck flowers from outside to apologize sincerely to his love.*

"I-Im-"

"Just shut up and kiss me"

*soon after lucy had yanked him twords her from his loose scarf that hanged closely to her as she took/stolen a kiss from him.*

*he gasped in air after the kiss ended and began to blush*

"I'm sorry lucy for carrying you like that. Also I'm sorry about 'that' morning when we were going at it and you told me to slo-"

*lucy covered his mouth as it was her turn to blush now and got up suddenly to begin changing out of her hospital gown.*

"Don't say that out loud idiot. Anyways it was ok, we didn't know about our 'little one' till after that morning."

*Natsu's eyes gleamed almost threatening to spill some tears as he blushed further then lucy had seen him blush before as he finally spoke.*

"I'm sorry lucy if I'm late in asking this but I'll ask you this now…. Will you Lucy Heartifilia marry me?"

*lucy gasped in shock as now it was her turn to blush several shades of red deeper then natsu but before she said yes he interrupted her from his knelt down position to face her tummy*

"And you Nashi Heartfilia, im so sorry for being so rough with mama but, will you give me the honors to become your papa?"

*lucy couldn't take the heartwarming natsu just said and began to sob softly as he turned up to put the ring he had in his hands on Lucy's finger*

"Wait I haven't said yes -"

"Tell me after luce- *gag*"

*poor natsu had to turn to a trash bin by the bed to begin throwing up after a full day of being fine since morning. it was the afternoon now so he had underestimated that he would be sick again.*

"I guess your mad at your papa huh? You keep giving him a hard time"

*giggled lucy now as she pat natsu's back softly as he threw up more.*
