Chapter 4 No Longer at Home

Sorry for the delay in chapters I don't have wifi on my chromebook at home so I have to write the chapters in school while I have classes so yeah but I will try to write alot more chapters or atleast drafts so I have chapters at the ready so I can give yall weekly updates. And do tell if you think there's something I improve in my writing.

Lying down on the roof of a truck, you could see a tall man in a large green jacket covering his face with his hands and his legs crossed in a weird position.

(POV Mc)

What I could do with the Gomu Gomu no Mi, was the thought that was running wild in my mind.

I was thinking about how I could develop it. If I don't have Haki, I could probably use weapons, but then I would need a weapon, probably knuckle busters or gauntlets of some kind.

But I would need to learn a martial arts that that normaly use gloves of som kind, but that's a thought for another time.

Concentrating on what's happening now, I could feel the truck slowing down.

So, I got up, not standing up, but in a crouching position so I could see what's happening. The first thing I saw was some tall buildings and a large skyscraper with a small globe with a sign on it saying Daily Planet.

Oh nah, I'm cooked,was the first thing that came into my mind. Knowing that I was in the DC universe, well, it depends on which DC universe. I didn't end up in the dark multiverse, at least. Well, that calmed my mind.I hope whatever iteration I was in, it's not too weird.

I could check the news and find out what's happening to try to figure out what I should do next. I need to make a list of what to do and check from my memories, and what powers I can obtain if I don't have Haki, like lantern rings or magic, and so on.

Well, I need to find somewhere to live and a source of income, I guess. Well, first, I need to get off this truck.

So, while waiting for the truck to stop and drop something off, I climb down from the truck and look around, seeing a lot of buildings.

I deicide to begin walking around i get som weird looks from people so i go looks for somwhere i can check how i look and i find a mall and go inside to check my appearance and to see if something wrong and potentially get my hands on some information.
