101 92. Allies

Alex quickly snapped himself out of the thought process and looked over to the others chatting happily with each other.

"Where's Mera's counterpart?" Alex asked while looking around the place.

Mera gave him the side eye when she heard his words. "Why do you want to meet her?" She asked a bit vigilantly.

"Just genuinely curious". Alex replied and looked at Aquaman.

"She was hidden away by me before Superman could use her to threaten me". Aquaman replied back seriously with some melancholy.

"I see and it was a very wise decision". Alex nodded his head in appreciation.

"Most people don't think of these things and usually suffer in the end". He continued and looked at Aquaman.

"Glad you understand". Aquaman smiled and said.

"Okay, enough chit chat. Now we have to get a move on". Alex said while standing up from his chair.

All the others stood up with him and bade them farewell while escorting them out of the Palace.

All of them waved and flew out of the Atlantis. Arthur and Mera didn't need them to carry because they were in their home turf.

Soon they were on their way to Tehmiscyra and were gaining distance very fast with their top speeds.

"Stop right there". A voice came in front of them and a yellow green wall blocked their path.

Two people floated in front of them with their arms crossed in front of their chests.

"Hal Jordan and Victor Stone". Alex said and looked at them with a smile.

"Who are you?" Hal asked while looking at Alex vigilantly.

"Your worst nightmare". Alex said with a dangerous smile and snapped his fingers.

"Oh what might this be?" Alex said whole twirling a cube in his hand.

The cube had vein like lines all over the cube and a big red dot in the middle.

"My Mother Box". Cyborg cried out.

"Oh, so this is a Mother Box. Quite the nifty thing isn't it?" Alex said and played around around with it.

"Give it back". Hal growled out and sped off towards Alex to take the Mother Box.

He used the Yellow Lantern ring and made drill to attack Alex.

Alex dodged the attack and attacked Hal up close. He closed the distance and delivered a punch right to Hal's gut with Hold Experience equipped on himself.

He used Gold Experience's full strength to punch Hal's gut. Hal was sent flying straight to the Ocean Bed.

A massive hole opened in the middle and the ocean water quickly filled it up.

Alex's whole arm was gone and Avalon's healing power was working overtime and in five seconds. His whole arm was back to normal.

Diana, Mera and Aquaman were engaging Cyborg. Cyborg was playing defensive and engaging them into a drawn out battle.

His abilities are truly numerous and he can withstand the onslaught of three superheroes at the same time.

They were trying to get close to him but he kept maintaining his distance and only used long range attacks against them.

Mera was the only one able to attack him but he was able to defend against the attacks of one person.

But the problem he was facing now was that his power was draining away too quickly and he didn't have the Motherbox to replenish it.

He will soon be out of power and then nothing will be able to stop these guys.

Hal also came out of the ocean with a bleeding mouth. His internal organs were badly damaged from the punch that Alex had dealt him earlier.

He spat out the blood in his mouth and looked at Alex vigilantly.

Alex waved his hand and the communicators burst into flames with a small bang.

Everyone looked at him to confirm his intentions. Bursting communicators means that he has something to say.

"Are you willing to defect to Insurgency?" Alex asked while looking at the two of them.

"Why should we?" Victor asked with uncertainty.

"Because we are the heroes summoned from Earth Prime and we can definitely stop Superman". Diana quipped form the side while Aquaman and Mera stood behind Alex.

"No need to lie. I can sense your intentions clearly". Alex waved his hand when he saw Hal's heart rate change.

"I am shielding this area. No one can know what happened here". He also added to give them some confidence.

"Haaa, my girlfriend is in his hands". Hal sighed and said. This time, he was telling the truth.

"My dad is also captured and currently working for the Regime". Victor said while looking at the others helplessly.

"Let's do this then. We are going to do some things and after finishing those. We will try to get your families secured.

Then we can form our own working relationship. All you have to do is go back and say that you were beaten by us.

And I will take this Mother Box with me. Superman will not be able to blame your failure". Alex said and quickly shot them both down with a punch.

He punched them hard and sent them hurtling into the Ocean.

The Shockwave and impact of their fall was astounding. Alex had punched them hard enough to blast off his own arms.

'I feel like my brain is feeling a bit funny these days'. Alex thought and shook his head.

'But I haven't used Reality Manipulation in a large scale often. This power is really cursed'. Alex thought and affirmed that he should use this power less often.

All of Marvel's Reality Manipulators start to descend into insanity eventually and become crazy in some way.

He didn't want to end up like that so he could only use the power less often. Just have to restrict the usage on a large scale.

'Or maybe I am just Horny. Haven't had Sex with the girls in like more than two years and I could be considered desperate'. He thought and laughed at himself.

Victor and Hal didn't come up again after that shot by Alex. Probably acting in defeat to make it more authentic or they were really knocked out from the blow.

It doesn't really matter because their powers can keep them safe without breathing.
