5 5. Incident
Alex and the others were currently happily chatting with each other. They were nearing the Theatre to watch the movie.
Alex felt dread and had a ominous feeling in his head. 'This is not going to be peaceful tonight'. Alex thought, he was silent and serious for the first time after getting reborn in this world.
'I need to awaken Gold Experience or I will probably die tonight'. Alex thought, he stressed his mind with Yujiro's experience and tried to access his spirit.
He didn't have his full power or senses but his spirit was should still be strong enough. He was a reincarnated person plus he had Yujiro's experience at the very least.
Experience could be integrated but the power will come slowly as he gets more and more older. His Hamon was the thing irking him right now.
He could feel the chi in his body from experience. He rotated the chi and felt his body get stronger for a while but then it emptied out quickly. He sat back like a deflated balloon and felt tired.
But he did get a response from his spirit. Just a bit more and he will either be able to unlock Avalon or Gold Experience. For him, Avalon was more important at the moment.
He focused his attention to feel a connection that he felt when he used the chi. After concentrating for a while, he felt a faint connection to a realm in a metaphysical plane near his chest.
He wanted to access it but for some reason, he just couldn't unlock the power from this realm. He kept going at it until they reached the theatre but all his efforts were fruitless.
"Master, we have reached the destination". Alfred opened the door for them and said in a polite manner.
"Thank you, Alfred". They thanked Alfred and got down the Car one by one.
All of them were dressed in neat and elegant outfits that radiated nobleness. Alex and Bruce were dressed in a black suit along with Thomas.
Whilst Martha was wearing a Purple dress with red heels and crystal earrings. She looked stunning and absolutely gorgeous and the dress mixed well with her hair and fair skin. Creating a very good contrast.
"Let's go in". Thomas said and started walking towards the theatre in the lead.
All the while, Alex's hand was in Martha's hand and he was thinking about what to do. He was sure that whoever was behind the incident will think of something to achieve their goal.
'The court of Owls will not give up if they are behind this'. Alex thought, he knew that in some versions and the OG, the whole incident was their scheme.
He was sure that they would already be informed about Alfred being with them on this. 'This fucking power won't activate when I need it. I have been trying since I was a year old'. Alex thought frustrated in his head.
They got inside the theatre and started to watch the movie but Alex was not enjoying this movie one bit. All of his attention was on the upcoming tragedy.

The movie was about to end and ten masked individuals were currently shuffling through the alleys near the theatre.
They had expertly interfered with the car's engine in a way that it won't look suspicious. Now, they were waiting in the dark like hawks, ready to pounce on their prey.

'There are multiple strong presences'. Alex perceived like Yujiro could. His senses weren't as exaggerated yet but he could still perceive things close by.
They were currently leaving the theatre towards their car and he felt that they were being watched by someone.
"Madam, Master, please stay in the theatre". Alfred said grimly and went to take over to the phone. He was ready to call the police.
He was a special agent and had a vast experience. He could perceive that they were being followed by multiple strong people.
He wasn't a match for them but by staying in a crowded place. They could avoid being surrounded and slaughtered helplessly.
Alfred prepared to call the police but then the lights of the Theatre went out and Alex quickly infused some small amount chi into his eyes to keep a lookout.
A shuriken wizzed past his back as he dodged it on instinct. He tightly grasped Martha's and Thomas' hand as he knew that trouble was here on their doorstep.
They were quickly surrounded. Two individuals grasped their Katanas and slashed at Thomas and Martha without even giving them a chance to respond to the attack.
Alex instinctively tried to take Martha and Thomas away from the trajectory of the swing. They had avoided unrepairable injuries to their organs but deep gashes appeared on their bodies.
The blood went out like a shower and both of them dropped on the floor powerlessly. Bruce witnessed the scene with the faint light coming from the outside.
His young brain was traumatised and he felt powerless and sad for the first time. He was shaking while looking at Thomas and Martha.
Alex looked at the bodies of his parents getting hacked with a sword. His eyes went red while anger and sadness flooded through his heart and a brilliant light came from his body.
"The promised Utopia: Avalon". The words left his mouth in a mutter automatically. His surroundings changed to a colourful field with fairies frolicking in the surroundings but the scene disappeared along with Martha and Thomas' as soon as it appeared.
All the people woke up their daze and started screaming at the assault that had taken place. People hadn't seen the Avalon as it was only visible to Alex.
But they did see a bright light that blinded them and then they saw the blood scattered on the floor. There was total mayhem in the theatre. Everyone ran towards the outside like a herd of sheep.
The theatre operatives quickly called the police and started to control the unrest and mayhem to avoid any property from getting damaged.
Alfred looked for Thomas and Martha but he didn't even see their bodies. When he looked at the shivering Bruce and Alex, he calmed his mind and quickly took Bruce and Alex to leave the theatre.
Bruce was shivering from fear and sadness whilst Alex was shivering from Anger, frustration and sadness at his own powerlessness.
'I achieved everything but at what cost'. Alex thought, he looked at his hands and clenched his fists.
