6 Toying Around

"It's actually a couple of questions, but none of them are hard to answer," Gojo informed Lero Ro, who stayed silent, waiting for Gojo to ask his questions.

"First question. How strong are irregulars that came previously? And how do you rankers and these ten families compare to them?"

"Irregulars are so powerful. For example, the weakest of the three irregulars, Urek Mazino, is in the top ten strongest in the tower. That alone is an incredible feat."

"But the other two are in a league of their own. Enryu, on the other hand, is far stronger. So strong that it would be disrespectful to compare him to anyone within this tower. He arrived one day and killed an administrator, a godlike being. And I'm not talking about the test administrator; you'll see them soon."

"Phantaminum is very mysterious, similar to Enryu, as they both appeared in the tower at a particular floor and caused chaos."

"Enryu appeared at the 43rd floor, and Phantaminum suddenly appeared in the Tower and breached Zahard's inner palace, massacring many royals and courtiers, all of whom were high-level Rankers. He successfully shattered all lines of defense and ultimately faced Zahard, but he vanished without a fight."

"Zahard is the ruler of the tower, the strongest besides the administrators, Enryu, and Phantaminum."

"People such as me and you would never be strong enough to face Phantaminum, particularly nobody would."

"Although I would never be able to reach a fraction of Enryu's strength, you possibly can, but I still highly doubt it."

"The ten family heads are the strongest along with Urek and Zahard. Yet, all of them wouldn't be enough to hurt either of them."

Gojo, although he didn't know how strong these family heads are, he knew they were powerful, at least based on Lero Ro's explanation of them.

But he still didn't believe that he wouldn't be able to surpass Phantaminum. Lero Ro made it sound as if Phantaminum wasn't a being he could reach or touch.

And that didn't sit right with Gojo.

"Last question, if I wanted to use Shinsu, would I face any consequences?" Although Gojo knew that Laure used Shinsu and didn't face consequences, that could be because he's from one of the great families, so he's protected.

"The only way you're able to use Shinsu is if you make a contract with the administrator or if you're a member of the great families. There is one exception…" Lero Ro glared at Gojo and continued, "If you're an irregular."

Gojo smiled widely and said, "Thank you very much! Now you can ask your question."

Lero Ro stayed silent for a little and said, "Are… Are you an irregular?"

Bam, who was confused about their entire conversation, suddenly felt a sensation creeping on his body when he heard Lero Ro questioning whether Gojo was an irregular.

He didn't even know Gojo was an irregular, so Bam also listened closely.

"I am…" Gojo said, causing Bam's jaws to drop in shock, and a weight to get lifted off of Lero Ro's shoulder.

"Not an irregular."

Lero Ro instantly became annoyed and angry because of how Gojo was toying with him.

He said 'I am' just to get a reaction and then add 'Not an irregular' to get another.

This was the first time a regular was so bold in front of him, a test administrator.

Bam's head became fried from all these questions and responses.

Lero Ro would eventually ignore Gojo, even going as far as to distance himself from him just because he was starting to get the urge to hurt him.

A few minutes after their conversation finished, the test would come to an end and Gojo's team had passed.

"Those of you who've passed, make a line!" A small girl with a bumblebee look said.

"I'm the test guide, Yellowy! The test will be conducted one team after another!"

Gojo would deliberately take a spot in the front of the line, as he didn't want to wait in such a long line; that's too boring.

Once the first team went in, Gojo heard a scream shortly after, and the next team went in, this time there wasn't a scream. Then it was Gojo's turn.

He didn't pay attention to what was going on; he was sure that there were hints to this test considering the time they screamed and those who didn't scream, but he didn't care for all of that.

He entered through the door and saw a man sitting on a mat, drinking tea.

"My name is Hansung Yu, your next test administrator."

"I'm usually a test director, but this time I will be directly in charge. The test is simple, those doors behind me, within ten minutes find the real door and open it."

"If you open the real door within the time limit, you will be led outside, but if you open the wrong door or didn't manage to open a door in the time limit, you die." Hansung Yu said.

Serena became stressed and looked at her teammates. One of them was a brute with no intelligence, and the other just slept the whole time.

She knew she was gonna have to do all the work.

As she was thinking about everything, Laure said, "Just open any door so I can sleep in peace."

This angered Serena, and she kicked Laure in the stomach, "You dummy! Pay attention and help me! You too, blindfold idiot!"

Gojo, however, with his six eyes, saw what was beyond the doors and he began laughing out loud, causing everyone, even Hansung Yu, to look at him confused.

He purposely limited the range he was seeing with his six eyes while he was waiting outside the door, so the test wouldn't be ruined.

He instantly could tell that this test was one that played with your heads, especially to those who are too smart and careful for their own good.

"There isn't a wrong answer in any of the doors. They all lead out." Gojo said.

"Are you stupid?! The test administrator specifically said that if you choose the wrong door you will die! Are you saying that he lied just to kill us?!" Serena shouted at Gojo.

"Pay attention, little girl. What did you notice while you were waiting?" Gojo asked Serena.

Serena was confused with Gojo's question, "I don't know?" She replied.

"I don't either since I wasn't paying full attention, but the screams and all of this time stuff are hints." Gojo said.

Serena still didn't understand anything, "That could mean anything! They screamed because they guessed the door wrong! You have to explain it with better detail if you want me to believe you!" Serena exclaimed.

"Well then luckily I never cared for your opinion." Gojo said, as he and Laure approached a door and opened it.

Serena, on the other hand, was furious, and if it wasn't because they were teammates, she would've killed them already.

"You passed!"
