Chapter 6:Arrival
After a few minutes of walking Adam's group arrived inside the main palace. Inside is a well design and brightly lit castle the interior is a perfect match between green,white,gold and blue.
When their group walk in they are greeted by a row of maids leaded by a grey haired middle aged man standing around 180 cm tall wearing a black formal suit. He have a sharp scarlet eyes and a impeccably maintain beard giving off the appearance of a handsome and gentlemanly middle aged man. He then have this calm or rather peaceful expression on his face giving a very approachable aura around him.
However those sharp scarlet eyes widen in shocked and his calm expression broke a little when his eyes landed on Adam. But the shock didn't last for long and he quickly got back to his usual calm expression. He then bow elegantly in greeting followed by the maids behind him, however his next words made the maids stun into silence.
"It has been a long time Lord Adam, I can see the you've recovered well." The middle age man greeted Adam with a respectful and polite bow.
The maids behind him lifted their head shock visible in there face because they are supposed to greet the master of the castle which is Lucia. However the maids quickly lower their heads again when they saw Lucia raising her left hand signaling them to lower their heads again.
"Good to see you as well Tristain it has been a long time but you look great as always." Adam greeted the man named Tristain in a tone like that of a good friends.
"Thank you for the compliment Lord Adam,. Well then I would assume that you would like to have a feast with the ladies before you rest?" Tristain asked Adam calmly.
"That's correct."Adam then nodded in confirmation.
"This way then." Tristain then guided their group to a hallway leading to the dining hall.
Adam look around in this luxurious hallway full of paintings, vase and expensive looking armors line up on one side and a window overlooking the city on the other side. After a few moments their group arrived in front of a double door the door slowly open on it's own. Then in the other side Adam can see a long table full of different kind of dishes then there is other maids standing on the corner of the room.
"Please."' Tristain politely gesture to Adam and the girls.
Adam then sat down with Lucia by his side and the twins Luna and Arya sitting in the other side in front of him.
"Well then, let's eat." Lucia said while smiling at Adam they then started eating while having some small conversation Adam then asked the girls about their daily lives..
"When would the others arrived..." Adam asked while cutting a piece of meat. But this time Luna answered Adam's question.
"Master, I just receive a transmission from Aspen, he said they are arriving soon." Luna explain while she cut a piece of steak.
After a few moments later the door open leading inside the dining hall there Adam see four people walk inside.
The man leading the group is a giant of a man standing around 6 to 7 feet tall with the muscular physique. He have a short red hair and beard on his face. He his a unusual glowing red eyes like that of a dragon. He have a rather wild aura and appearance to him but he nevertheless is a good looking man. He is wearing a beast hide that only covers his upper body and lower body exposing his big muscular arms. He is one of Adam's companion back then and one of the 7 dragon lords. His name is Volcan the "Dragon of the Burning world".
Behind the towering man. Adam can see a medium build man standing the same height as him. The man have a medium length bright blue hair and a clear blue eyes full of wisdom, while having a gentle smile on his face. He is wearing a blue and white mage armor and on his right hand he is holding a long silver staff with a blue crystals on top. He is also one of Adam's companion and also a part of the Dragon Lords. His name is Aspen the "Dragon of Eternal Frost".
Then following Aspen is a man with a long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. He is standing around 180 cm tall and he have a sharp gold eyes like that of a hawk. He have a handsome face and a sharp aura around him. He is wearing a adamantite armor that only covers his chest and other areas. However the most eye-catching thing about him is the beautifully designed longsword behind him the sword is giving off a ancient and mysterious aura around it. This man is also one of Adam's companion back then he is also one of the Dragon Lords named Vali the "Dragon of the Endless lightning".
The last to enter the dining hall is a girl that have the appearance of a 10 to 13 years old child. She have a long brown hair that reach her waist she have a beautiful appearance but her face is emotionless like that of a doll. However her bright hazel eyes is excitedly looking around the dining hall looking for someone. She is giving off a strange aura like that of a immovable mountain a big contrast to her small and petite appearance. She is only wearing a simple white dress embroidered with yellow flowers that reach her knees. She is only walking on barefoot not minding the others around her. She is only focusing on looking at Adam directly while tilting her head cutely in confusion.. Adam can instantly recognise the little girl her name is Diane also part of the Dragon Lords she is known as the "Dragon of the Thousand Mountains".
"Where is Adam, I've heard that the resurrection is successful?" Volcan asked while looking around the dining hall.
"Yes. Where is he, I wanted to challenge him in a dual." Vali said while releasing his fierce battle aura.
Aspen however, didn't speak and just calmly smile while looking at Adam. He is looking at Adam with a surprise and amazed look on his face however Adam can also see the relief and happiness in Aspen's eyes
Diane however is still looking directly at Adam in confusion visible in her face. She knows that there is another person that walk out from the tomb and that person is the man sitting next to Lucia. But the man's appearance is so different from what she remember and that's what confuse her the most.
However when that man finally noticed her gaze he smile at her gently. Then the Adam on her memory and this man's appearance slowly overlap to each other she then murmured under her breath.
"Adam." Diane said in her small adorable tone.
When Adam hear what Diane said his smile widen. He then open his arm in front of him Diane then smile a little seeing that action and happiness can be seen in her hazel colored eyes. Then it happens Diane vanish from where she stands. She did appears in front of Adam quietly sitting on his lap.
"Long time no see, Diane." Adam said while hugging the little girl that appear in his lap.
