The Earthmother's Temple

Bradin blinked rapidly trying to clear the black spots across his vision. it was hard to see once they had lit up with the bright white light. slowly his vision came back, and he was able to look around the room.

they where in a small empty room with a wooden floor and wooden walls. besides the three of them there was nothing else in the room.

"ok i got you here the rest is up to you." Sara said "i have things to do and people to see. it was nice meeting you Bradin. maybe we will meet again some day. take care of Ivan for me. bye."

Bradin blinked some more as Sara left the room in another flash of light this time without a spell being said.

"Sara always was one to make flashy exits." Ivan said with a smile "now lets get you tested. after that we will have a good idea on what to do from there."

"ok." Bradin said as he and Ivan left the empty room through its door.

outside of the room was a hallway with five doors on each side. at the end of the hallway was another door. Bradin fallowed Ivan down the hallway and through the door at the end.

Bradin was hit with warm air. he was so shocked that he stopped walking and stared at the world around him. he stood just outside of a small wooden building. there was a white marble walkway leading to a group of buildings in the distance.

what had shocked Bradin was the ground was green, and on either side of the walkway there where trees that had green leaves on them. every where Bradin looked he could see green. there was no snow at all, in fact it was warm.

Ivan had stopped a little ways down the marble walkway. he smiled as he watched Bradin take in his first experience of the Temple. he fondly remembered he had reacted the same way when he was first brought here.

"how is this possible?" Bradin asked stunned

"look up." Ivan said

Bradin looked straight up. as he looked around he could see some sort of grid high above them.

"what is that?" Bradin asked

"it is sheets of glass. they cover the whole temple. they start at the protective walls and go all the way up."

Bradin thought for a second, then he got it.

"the whole temple is a massive moss house?" he asked in disbelief

"that is right. when you have a hundreds of mages that are united you can do amazing things." Ivan said

once Bradin had finished looking around, and was ready, they continued down the walk way. as they walked Bradin could see all sorts of plants and flours in bloom. it was amazing.

as they got closer to the buildings, Bradin could see lots of people walking around going from building to building. almost all of them where middle aged mages being fallowed by young mages.

All of the older mages where wearing shirts and pants of the same color. the young mages all where wearing white robes. Bradin was about to ask about this, but they had just arrived at a building and Ivan was entering it.

Bradin fallowed Ivan inside. inside was a short hallway, with pairs of mages waiting in a line.

"wow there must have been a bunch of new mages discovered." Ivan commented

"yes there where." an older mage a few people ahead of them replied

"they are popping up all over." another mage commented

Ivan made small talk with the other mages, wail Bradin looked at the other new mages without saying anything. slowly the line moved forward, as time passed. more mages came and stood behind Ivan and Bradin continuing the line.

after about an hour they stood at the doors that only one pair could enter at a time. finally the mage guarding the door nodded and pushed open the door, letting them in.

"are you ready to be tested?" Ivan whispered as they entered the room.
