Wild Wolf Gang's Scheme

The rest of the gang members instantly stopped chatting, quickly positioning their weapons as they raised their vigilance.

A few moments later, they could hear the drumming of numerous feet onto the ground, slowly approaching them.

The Wild Wolf Gang appeared soon after, with their weapons are equipped, in a stance ready to fight.

They emanated a faint ferocious aura, and were led by a middle-aged man who slowly walked forward.

"Looks like the Fierce Tiger Gang is already ready to fight." The man uttered, as his mouth rose into a sneer, apparently not surprised by the current scene.

"Are you all ready to die?" He stared at Hun Yan, with a trace of superiority in his eyes.

"Wang Deng! Are you sure you really want to fight to the death with us? We are definitely not afraid of you either!" Hun Yan loudly shouted, his voice carrying a few traces of his anger.

"Still not admitting your death? I can give you all one chance, one chance to surrender right now. Or you can all prepare to die." Wang Deng arrogantly looked down upon the Fierce Tiger Gang, not hiding the mockery in his voice as he said so.

"Do you think that just because you have 1 Elementary Realm master, you can actually fight against us? What wishful thinking!" Hun Yan stared back as he said with a few hints of confidence.

In the past, they may suffer from serious losses. But now, with the addition of Long Chen, it gave him a sense of confidence.

2 Elementary Realm masters against 1. It isn't that hard to know who would lose.

"Oh? Do your measly little gang have something up their sleeves? Come, let me see where you confidence lays in!" Hearing the tone in Hun Yan's voice, Wang Deng waved his sleeves, as he haughtily responded, his attitude as though he did not even bother about what they have.

Why would he care?

In the past, he was just a lowly gang leader, with close to no one respecting him.

But now, he was the subordinate of a powerhouse! Even though he was a simply a loyal dog in front of them, but he now had the power and authority to condescend Hun Yan and his gang.

He could finally lift his head up and show off his arrogance.

It was at this moment, that Long Chen stepped out of the crowd, and gazed at Wang Deng, his eyes filled with disdain.

This was a usual case of an arrogant person who had managed to acquire some strength, and then feel like they are above the heavens.

"You are merely just an Elementary Realm cultivator, and you are actually acting so brazenly?" Long Chen lips rose up into a sneer as he mocked.

And without waiting for Wang Deng to speak, he fully released his aura onto Wang Deng.

Long Chen could sense that Wang Deng was at the 3rd Elementary Realm, close to breaking through into the mid-stage Elementary Realm.

But as long as he was not at the mid-stage, he was powerless in front of him.

"2nd Elementary Realm?!" Wang Deng squinted his eyes as he felt the pressure descending upon him. It faintly suffocated him, and gave him a sense of unease.

"How could it be?!" A person within the Wild Wolf Gang abruptly shouted in shock, as he continued, "You were only in the 7th Qi Refining Realm before, how could you breakthrough so quickly into the Elementary Realm?"

This person was the one who had chased after the Moonlight Disciple, Yun Ran, and had briefly fought against Long Chen before he ran away.

He could recognize Long Chen's features, but his powerful aura was unfamiliar to him.

He remembered that he was definitely much weaker than he currently was the last time!

Wang Deng heard his subordinate's words, and then turned his head towards him as he questioned, "He was only the 7th Qi Refining Realm before?"

"Yes. He was the one who had interrupted our mission and killed one of our members." The person promptly replied.

"You killed one of our members?" Wang Deng glared back at Long Chen, his eyes shining with a glint.

He stared at Long Chen for a while, before he lifted his head.

"So your confidence lays in a 2nd Elementary Realm. No wonder you were not afraid." Wang Deng slightly chuckled as he said.

"But do you seriously think that this is all we have?" Wang Deng's next words left the entire Fierce Tiger Gang to tense up in slight nervousness.

Wang Deng stared at the distance, as he muttered, "It should be coming soon."

The Fierce Tiger Gang was unable to understand what this words meant, and neither did Long Chen. Meanwhile, the Wild Wolf Gang started to thump their hands on their chest, chanting out a roar as they were filled up with battle intent.

Hun Yan observed this situation, and felt a slight unease, and he lifted his hand up, wanted to signal everyone to begin their fight, when the ground suddenly trembled.

A loud howl echoed in the background, reaching their eyes, and Hun Yan involuntarily frowned as he yelled, "Wang Deng! What are you trying to do?"

Wang Deng looked at Hun Yan with a playful expression, as he slowly took out something from his pocket, and showed it to him.

It was an Auroma Grass!

Auroma Grass was a type of plant that would produce a scent which will attract certain monsters! However, this plant was rare and expensive, not commonly sold to the public.

Hun Yan tensed up his face in nervousness, as he knew what this meant.

They were planning to attract the monsters, and then have the monsters deal with them!

"You! Are you not scared that your plan will backfire on yourselves?" Hun Yan yelled out as he furiously pointed his finger towards Wang Deng.

"How could we do carry this out, without thinking for ourselves? We have already applied a scent to make the monsters disregard us. Just quietly stay there, and wait for the monsters to come. We will help you clean up the scene afterwards." Wang Deng's tone was filled with arrogance, as he calmly responded.

The Wild Wolf Gang behind him all jeered and derided them, laughing without restrain, as if they were assured of the result of this battle, and were void of any nervousness.

"How despicable!" Hun Yan was thoroughly incensed. Using monsters to deal with them rather than fighting one on one.

"Tsk. The only thing that you are relying on right now, is the monsters. Without them, what are you even worth?" Long Chen, who was at the side, coldly snorted.

"How about we start fighting, and stop this nonsense?" Long Chen added, and as his words landed, his tightened his grip on his sword, and dealt a slash onto Wang Deng.

His sword was swift and accurate, carrying with it oppressive power.

Wang Deng was startled by this sudden attack, and quickly tried to block the attack.

But Long Chen's power at the First Elementary Realm could be comparable to the 3rd Elementary Realm. Now that he had broken through to the Second Elementary Realm, how could a mere 3rd Elementary Realm be able to deal with his attack?

His sword ray slashed onto his body, as Wang Deng gave a shrill cry of pain as blood started to spurt out of his body, creating a beautiful line of blood that flew in mid-air.

Long Chen's attack had managed to pierce into his body, and had almost even reached his bones!

Wang Deng held onto his body with one hand, as blood started dripping down from it.

With his face contorted in rage, he screamed out, "How dare you try to sneak attack me!"
