When the auction has ended, he went straight towards the back stage of the auction hall where Gu Yin was sitting down while patiently waiting.

Long Chen took a glance at the pouch filled with crystals, and whilst suppressing his overwhelming joy, he took the pouch and placed it within his storage bag.

Then, he calmly retrieved the 18 pills he had recently refined and placed it in front of Gu Yin.

"18 Pills. 14 Mid-Tier and 4 High-Tier. All of them are Qi Gathering pills, and I would like you to auction them off in the next week's auction. I trust that you be able to sell them well." Long Chen pointed towards the pill boxes that contained the pills and then glanced up towards Gu Yin.

At this moment of time, Gu Yin immediately jumped out of his chair as though there was fire on it. Giving a cry of shock, he asked with a slightly trembling voice, "Senior, can I confirm the validity of the pills?"

Long Chen impassively gestured, and Gu Yin opened the boxes one by one with his shivering fingers. As each box was opened, his eyes grew wider and wider, till the last box was also revealed before his eyes, and he fell powerlessly onto his chair.

Taking a long while to calm the raging currents within his heart, Gu Yin put on a sincere expression and assured, "Senior, I will definitely get you the best prices for you pills, and will not let down your trust in me."

Long Chen waved his hands as acknowledgement, then turned around to leave the Misty Auction Hall.

Long Chen made his way towards the Alchemy Association, where he bought 30 sets of ingredients for 30 Crystals, leaving him with 310 Crystals.

With this done, he returned back to the Moonlight Sect.

He was walking towards the direction of the courtyard, when he heard someone calling out to him.

"Brother Long!" Chen Yu Liang spotted Long Chen and he rushed towards him.

"Chen Yu Liang." Long Chen turned his head towards the voice to see Chen Yu Liang running towards him, with an expression of panic and fear.

"Brother Long, protect me!" Chen Yu Liang disregarded the crowd curious stares and hurriedly hid himself behind Long Chen's back.

"What are you…?" Before Long Chen could finish his question, he heard a high-pitch voice.

"Chen Yu Liang! Get back here! If not, this young lady will personally beat you up again!" Xiao Wan Wan appeared within Long Chen's sight, her face filled with anger.

"Even if I don't run away, you will also beat me up! What's the point of me going to you for?" Chen Yu Liang loudly retorted, before he said in a pleading tone, "Brother Long, please protect me from this Devil Child!"

"Brother Long Chen, it's nothing. We were just having a friendly discussion." Xiao Wan Wan innocently blinked her large eyes and said.

"Really?" Long Chen glanced at Xiao Wan Wan.

"Really." Xiao Wan Wan twiddled her little fingers as she softly responded.

Long Chen obviously wasn't fooled, but he didn't bother to expose her lies.

"I'm going to visit the Mission Hall. Do you want to come?" Long Chen was about to turn around to leave, but paused in his footsteps and turned back his head to look at Xiao Wan Wan.

He had to complete a mission once every month, and he might as well finish it now since he had nothing else to do.

"Hehe, Brother Long Chen, let's go!" Xiao Wan Wan enthusiastically replied, and walked alongside Long Chen happily towards the mission hall, completely forgetting the presence of Chen Yu Liang.

"Your parents? I don't even know them, so why would they want to see me for?" Long Chen slightly frowned his eyebrows while questioning.

Xiao Wan Wan's eyes darted around, as her face involuntarily turned red. Lowering her head, she replied in a soft voice, "I don't know…I talked about you to them, and then they said that they wanted to meet with you."

"What did you say about me?" Long Chen turned her head to look at Xiao Wan Wan's slightly suspicious face and asked.

"It's nothing much…I only talked about your cultivation and that you were a genius…" Xiao Wan Wan stumbled upon her words while trying to respond.

Long Chen naturally did not believe in her words, but seeing her parents were not such a big deal. He just gave a hum of acknowledgement and told Xiao Wan Wan that he would meet up with them in the future.
