38 Hi trash, I'm garbage

After saying my goodbyes I went to Rossweisse and Göndul.

To be honest I was still a bit put out about her being the cause of my grounding. I know that at some point mother would have discovered it and punished me, but I hoped for it to be later. At a time where I could ignore the consequences.

I intended to make her squirm a bit for it. After all, she was still young and immature and I was petty.

Alexander : "Valkyrie Göndul, it's a pleasure to see you tonight. I'm honoured you took the time to travel to the underworld to partake in this celebration. It's also nice to see that the relationship between Asgard and the underworld has warmed up enough that you could do the trip." I said politely. "Oh, and hi to you too." I said in a totally dismissive manner barely looking at Rossweisse.

It did raise Göndul eyebrow and made Rossweisse looking unsure.

Göndul : "It's alright lad. Our queen wanted to come but her condition did not really allow it as you know, and I was chosen as a replacement along my granddaughter. As for the relationship, it's not as good as you may think. You're the only devil Asgard is really in contact with. The Leviathan's gal tried her best to milk the opportunity to gain some goodwill or even an opportunity of an improved communication between our pantheon, but the underworld as a whole is still full of distasteful individuals in his leadership."

Rossweisse : "Hum... Hi Alexa..."

Alexander : "Indeed, I can't say the true power leading our community is all of sunshine and rainbow, but at least the new satan tries to improve things. If anything I think that Lady Leviathan does an impressive work and is reliable. If anything, she's not a BETRAYER or a BACKSTABBER." She looked at me weirdly when I abruptly cut Rossweisse but I could see she wouldn't say more. She did give a side glance when I heavily implied about her betraying me.

Rossweisse : "Please Alexander, I'm..."

Alexander : "After all, there's nothing more disgusting than backstabber. Wouldn't you say so Valkyrie Göndul ?" At that point Göndul simply deadpanned and decided to ignore me and went elsewhere saying something along the line of "annoying teenagers".

Seeing her going I decide to do the same. I intended to let Rossweisse suffer a bit after all. I was NOT going to simply forgive her like that. Humph !

Rossweisse : "Wait Alexander, wait I'm coming with you !"

In the end Rossweisse decided to silently follow me until I decided to acknowledge her presence.

And while I was saying platitudes to various people, I was also trying to find a place to go and hide. That's when I heard the commotion a bit further.

??? : "What is a disgusting trash like you doing here ? Did the Gremory even bother giving you an invitation ?"

The offensive kid had blue hair and a rat like face in my unbiased opinion with squinting eyes. I recognised him the instant I saw him. It was none other than Diodora Astaroth, the heir of the Astaroth family, as well as Ajuka's cousin. I could almost smell the malice around the little shit.

And I couldn't help myself from smiling when I saw who he was insulting. My maternal cousin, Sairaorg Bael. The guy was around my age but was already showing a muscular build. Good thing a devil constitution was so different from a human or else he'll have to suffer as he grow older with that kind of body so young. He was a training maniac and will be considered a monster in the future because of his mastery over Touki.

I could see he didn't seemed very annoyed, and choose to ignore him. Must not been the first time he was insulted like that.

Kuisha Abaddon, however was much less passive. Not a surprise since she was his queen.

Kuisha : "Who do you think you are talking to lord Sairaorg like that ?"

Diodora : "Pathetic, you can't even recognise the heir of the Astaroth clan ? No wonder you are associated with that looser. Beggars can't be choosers after all." The fact that many young devil around were laughing was depressing.

I decided to intervene since he was ruining my mood.

Alexander : "Hello everyone, is there a problem ?" I asked politely.

Kuisha : "Heir Astaroth decided to insult my king without any provocation and questioned his right to be here !" She told me furiously.

Alexander : "Well, no need to get upset over a dog barking. As for the invitation, I can confirm it's legitimate. I was the one who insisted for him to be invited. After all, a talent like him is someone who should be sough after don't you think lady Abaddon ?"

*Silence*

It was just a light insult, no need to make it bigger than it is... The fact that everyone was now looking here because of the lack of noise was just ridiculous.

Diodora : "You dare ?!" he asked calmly.

Alexander : "Dare what ?" I asked tilting my head to the side

Diodora : "Do you even know who you are calling a dog ? I am Diodora Astaroth, heir of the Astaroth family. I wonder what will be your reaction now that you know your blunder." He said with a self satisfied smirk.

I have to say I was honestly perplexed. What was he expecting really ?

Alexander : "I honestly don't get it. Didn't I just insult you like you did toward my guest ? What's the big deal ? Are you a dumbass ?" And deciding to ignore him I went to my cousin.

Alexander : "Hello Trash of the Bael Clan, ..." The moment I said that, the silence occurred again. I'm pretty sure Ophis would love me for creating silence so easily. "... My name is Alexander Gremory, the garbage of the Gremory clan, nice meeting you." And like that offered my hand for a handshake.

I could see he was honestly surprised, but took it like I meant it, as a joke.

Sairaorg : "AHAHAH, nice to meet you indeed garbage of the Gremory clan." he said with a big smile, while taking my hand. And just like that, I started what would become a long lasted friendship.
