Ritler Island (Part 2)

The teenage girl was running with the heart of a beast in her hand, she wore a skirt made of beast hide while the upper part of the short green blouse she wore was stained with blood and dirt.

The men chasing her were all wearing beasts hides and had tribal tattoos on their arms holding weapons.

swish! swish! swish!

One of them threw two electrifying daggers at her which she dodged. The daggers kept moving forward with speed until it lodged into a tree. Another threw tiny needles but the girl kept running zig-zag dodging the projectiles until Ruby was in her line of view. When she noticed someone her eyes flashed with a hint of hope, but on looking carefully and noticing the bloodstains on Ruby and the fact that she was carrying an unconscious person, that hope turned back into despair.

She passed by Ruby's side not slowing down in the slightest, but then one of the men chasing bumped into Ruby with his left shoulder.

Plop!

Alusec unconscious body fell from her hand.

"Who's this bitch? don't you know how to get out of the road when you see people passing?" The young man with fairly tanned skin and broad body stared at Ruby angrily while saying.

The girl who was being chased paused to watch the drama unfolding.

Grrrrh!

"HEY! DID YOU JUST CAUSE MY MASTER TO FALL AND CALL ME A BITCH?" Ruby stared at Alusec's body on their ground as a fierce aura was starting to form around her.

The men stopped in their tracks staring at Ruby.

"Yes bitch, learn to move out of the way when you see, young master Sohil coming." Oblivious of his impending doom, the man insulted Ruby again.

"Hey Young master Sohil.... Don't..." One of the remaining five men tried cautioning after sensing the aura but it all fell on deaf ears.

"Yes... she's a bitch... I should have caught up to that thief if she wasn't in the way." he added.

Ruby dropped the bag of plants from her shoulder, turned to stare at the girl, and asked, "do you have water?"

They all stared at her with curiosity, wondering what she needed water for.

"Mmh" The girl nodded and reached out to her waist area, removing a small leather pouch and throwing it to Ruby.

Grab!

Ruby caught the pouch and opened it, while she lifted the pouch up, everyone was staring at her wondering what she wanted to do.

'Maybe her source has to do with controlling water' they thought.

Splash!

Ruby poured the water all over her face. The water rolled down from her face to her neck and then down to her lower body.

Gasp!

They were all shocked, not because of Ruby's action but because the injuries on her face were healing at a visible rate.

Pew!

Ruby breathed out and opened her eyes after pouring the water on her face. She picked up Alusec and placed him beside a tree, making his back rest on it.

Step! Step! Step! Step!

Ruby started walking towards them.

Every step she took increased the pressure that the men were feeling.

"Lady we don't want any..." before one of them could speak up, Sohil interrupted.

"You want a fight bitch, I'll give it to you..." He spoke while unsheathing two blades.

Chiitttrrriii!

Electricity crackled all over the daggers as he held the one on his left in a reverse grab while the one on the right in a normal way.

Ruby just stared at him like she was staring at a dead person.

"I don't like that look in your eyes, bitch." he shouted and ran towards her throwing one of the daggers at her.

Grab!

Ruby caught the dagger and Sohil smiled like he was already expecting her response.

"Lightning explosion"

immediately he screamed out, the dagger that Ruby was holding on to exploded with large electric current flying everywhere.

Zzzllllrrllll!

Light engulfed the whole forest as electricity sparks flew everywhere damaging part of the ground where they were standing and even some of the trees were charred black.

After the outburst of electricity, there was a long line of division on the ground.

Shhhhh!

Sohil was smiling after what he pulled of feeling smug about himself.

"Not bad, a weak attack but at least it was surprising." A voice sounded from behind him.

The smile on Sohil's face froze, after not seeing Ruby where she was originally, he thought she was blasted to ashes.

He turned around to see Ruby smiling at him without a single scratch on her.

Grab!

Ruby held onto his left arm and asked, "wasn't this the arm you used in bumping into me?"

Sohil was having a bad feeling after hearing that question and tried to free his arm from her grip, but no matter how hard he pulled it was futile, he couldn't get Ruby to let go, he was surprised at how strong her grip was.

"Let go of me you bitch!" he demanded.

"A mortal trash like you dares call me a bitch?"

Ruby smiled at him and tightened her grip on his left arm while grabbing onto his neck with her free hand and pulling them in opposite directions.

Riipp!

"Aaaaarrrghhh!" Sohil screamed like a pig being slaughtered as his arm was separated from his shoulders. Fresh blood jetted out like a fountain with his joints and tendons spilling out.

His companions and the teenage girl were shocked at the ruthlessness of this harmless-looking young lady but she wasn't done yet.

Ruby held onto the separated arm and threw it to the ground which was already stained with blood. She held on to Sohil's neck who was still screaming in pain with tears and snot escaping from his eyes and nose.

She lifted Sohil up and asked while holding onto his jaw with her right hand, "Wasn't this the mouth you used in calling me a bitch?"

Immediately Sohil heard another question from her mouth his mind nearly went blank as he stared at her with an apologetic look, "I'm sor..." before he could complete his sentence...

Pah!

He received a slap that broke his jaw.

"Kiaaarrrrrrhhhhh!"

Another heart-wrenching scream echoed through the forest.

"How many times did you call me a bitch?" Ruby asked and what followed next was....

Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah!

The men stared in fright, at Sohil who was left with a broken jaw and without a left arm, thanking their stars that they did not insult the demoness.

Ruby threw Sohil to the ground like he was a pile of nothing and turned to stare at the remaining men, "Are you still going to keep chasing her?" She asked while pointing at the teenage girl.

The men immediately shook their heads in disagreement. The fear was visible on their faces. "Take your young master and get out of here," Ruby commanded and the men immediately ran towards Sohil who was already unconscious due to intense pain and lifted him up, taking him and his separated arm and running away in the opposite direction.

"Thank you." The teenage girl spoke up while walking towards Ruby and helping her pick the bag up from the ground.

Ruby nodded and took the bag from her, wearing it back on her shoulder.
