Half an hour later after the mysterious lady left Dante woke up, stretching his body as he yawned.

''That was more painful than I thought. Well, I had to be this ruthless to accomplish my goal and I don't regret my action. One has to be ruthless to oneself to achieve real freedom. Well, temporary freedom as that man must have other means to monitor me but it doesn't matter.'' Dante mumbled while dusting himself.

''!"

Suddenly, he stopped and his eyes sharpened as he felt a lingering aura that soon vanished.

''Someone was here, although I don't know their identity, someone was definitely here. Forget it, it's not like I would get the answer just by thinking about it.''

Dante said and stopped searching for a clue, whoever it was, this person would likely reappear before him or around him as they must be interested in him.

As he ruminated on what he had to do next Dante lost track of time when suddenly a voice rang out inside his head.

{Ding! Initialization of the New system... Ding! Initialization complete!}

Breaking free from Dante's formulating thoughts, his lips curled up but he stopped the system from continuing as he got something more important to do.

''Stop it, let's do this later. I'm hungry and I must find a restaurant to eat.''

The new system stopped and didn't continue.

Dante nodded pleased with the system's obedience, he quickly checked his pocket for money, he had around twenty thousand Universal Dollars he collected from the dead thugs.

''This should do.'' He then left the alley and went to search for a decent restaurant to fill his empty stomach.

A/N: Universal Dollar is the currency adopted after the Archangels leading the angels conquered the world.

After asking out a few passersby to check on some of the best restaurants nearby, Dante got a recommendation.

The Blue Icy Hotel is known for its restaurant.

Their restaurant has a very good reputation from what the people told him, they are known for their considerate service, and delicious dishes, and have the best chefs compared to other restaurants.

Dante soon arrived at the Blue Icy Hotel and took the elevator to the twentieth floor.

The height of the building was about 100 meters. It was not the tallest in the whole of Sunset city, but it was tall enough for one to enjoy the night view.

Walking out of the elevator, a waiter immediately greeted Dante, he was shocked by his unusual eyes but quickly got over his shock like a professional.

"Good evening Sir.''

"Is there still a place near the window?" Dante directly asked.

"Yes, there is. Please follow me."

The waiter led him to a table by the window and Dante sat down and opened the menu. After going through the menu he closed it and ordered what he wanted.

''The appetizer will be two slices of scallops, pan-seared foie gras, and porcini cappuccino soup while the main course, I'd like Tasmanian Angus Fillet Steak and Pan-fried Salmon.''

The waiter nodded and asked, "Do you want some wine?"

''Yes, what will you recommend me?" He asked as he was a complete novice to all of this.

The waiter thought for a moment before suggesting an Ace of Spades. There exist two versions which the waiter went on and explained.

''I will suggest the Ace of Spades, there's the Gold and black version. Gold-"

Dante didn't wait for him to finish with his explanation before announcing his choice.

''The Gold version.''

''Okay, please wait a minute.'' The waiter said before disappearing.

Meanwhile, Dante took the opportunity to look around.

The restaurant was very distinctive. The kitchen walls are transparent floor-to-ceiling glasses where you could see through the chefs making the food.

Turning your head to the other side, one could enjoy the night view.

The restaurant rotates very slowly, that was every 60 minutes.

The speed is just right and allows the diners to enjoy the night view at 360 degrees without much discomfort.

Soon, the waiter served the wine. He opened it and poured a glass for him.

Dante picked up the wine glass and took a sip as he gently enjoyed the night view outside.

After tasting it meticulously, he suddenly smiled and said.

"It's my first time tasting this but I don't dislike it."

The waiter was taken aback for a moment and thought of something but refrained from asking and Dante could feel his curiosity, he said nothing, and he appreciated the man's professionalism.

While enjoying his wine, Dante wondered about the difference between the tastes of the gold and black versions.

The prices of the two versions are significantly different.

The black version is 5000 UD a bottle while the gold is only 3000 UD.

Dante couldn't help but sigh in his heart. It seemed that he still has a long way to go as it existed many things he didn't know and had to learn them. He would take his time to learn them as he would try to accomplish his goal which is absolute freedom.

After waiting for a few minutes, the appetizer was served.

The scallops are cut as thin as the cicada's wings topped with clear salmon bits and a green sauce at the bottom which resembles luscious green water.

After tasting the appetizer, Dante nodded in satisfaction. It has a crisp, sweet, and sour taste, with a unique fragrance of seafood which was very suitable for an appetizer.

The waiter on the side was also very attentive and poured some more wine and changed the dish plates at the right time.

After eating, Dante was satisfied.

Especially the pan-seared salmon, he liked it very much.

As for the steak, it tasted good but not great as the pan-seared salmon.

"Could I get the check please?" Dante said as soon as he was done.

After receiving the bill, Dante glanced at it and ticked the highest possible percentage of the tip. The waiter was good and he did enjoy the food served, so there was no reason to be stingy, a proper service deserves good reward as well.
