My hands are holding my weapon firmly, my fingers tight around the grip as I look ahead of me, Ares with his chin up in a perfect fight stance, also holding a sword, his russet eyes focusing on me. I can see Hermes sitting on the stairs that lead to the temple with my peripheral vision, his voice echoing as he counts down.

-Three! - deep breath - Two! - the god of war smirks. He will not take it easy on me just because I'm his little sister. That's the reason I like to train with him in the first place - One! - but I will not hold back either - GO!

He acts first, as expected, coming right at me and attacking, his blade almost touching my left arm. Almost. I spin right, avoiding it, and use the sharp object in a up to down motion, he turns around and blocks it with his own, initiating a strength contest, but I've learn a long time ago to don't do something like that against him. You don't put fire against fire.

Instead, I see a opportunity. I quickly put my knee up, hitting his stomach and, when he leans holding it with a hand, I use my elbow to hit his nape, pushing him down by his shoulders before he can recover, but it doesn't end here. He's able to trip me up and I fall on my knee, I use my sword to support myself. He gets up, kicks my ribcage, and I stab his foot before falling.

-WHAT ARE YOU DOING? - I look to the direction of the sound, cringing as I see my stepmom, Hera. You see, at this point, when I'm on the ground with my sword deep into my brother, I cannot say we are having a nice, healthy siblings time, or I could, but I am smart enough to not sass the god's queen.

I get up, taking the sword out of Ares' foot. Fortunaly, deities heal really fast, so a medium injury like this will soon be gone. Hermes also gets up, the three of us looking at the brunette woman, hands on her hips, her light green eyes feeling like they can get into our brains and souls. Don't get me wrong, she can be very nice when she wants to, but motherly figures have a impressive hability to make anyone feel terrified with just one look. She sighs, crossing her arms.

-Athena, Ares, Hermes. Go get a bath and change, now. The twins are coming for dinner.

I smile widely as she inform about the twins, going inside with the blonde close behind, but we stop as we realize the older one isn't coming. I see his mother is talking to him, Ares messes with his dark short hair, something he does when he gets nervous, and I hear their voices, me and Hermes lay on the wall.

-Mom, I know, but...you and dad cannot keep her here forever. As everyone, she will find a purpose and-

-And I don't want you to encourage her violence. One child always in war is more than enough, Ares. She will stay here and find her purpose in...I don't know, books, weaving, anything, but she's unstable and fragile, she's a princess. It's time for her to act like it.

I stay silent, looking down.

-Hey... - I feel the hand of the blue eyed boy on my shoulder, trying to cheer me up. He looks at my gray iris when I put my head up - ...that's not true, sis. You know that.

-Yeah, thanks. I'm fine. Let's go get changed.

He nods not so certain and we get out.

As finishing getting ready I hear a familiar hoot, the owl that sometimes comes landing on my window. I smile, getting closer, and pet it, a knock on my door being heard.

-Come in!

Hermes' face appears with a smile. He also gets close and pets the animal, looking at my loom, the fabric I'm making almost done.

-I've never seen a tree like this. - he says referring to the one on the fabric.

-Oh that's...just a ideia of mine. A fruit that can provide edible oil.

-Do you have a name for it?

-I'm terrible with names, you know it.

-So..."hermisis". Oh or "best bro". - we laugh a little - No, you're right. It looks like something with the letter "O". Like...Omar. Or...Orlando...Ohio.

-What? What kinda of names are those?

-You're right. Those two last aren't tree names.

-"Omar" isn't either.

-I'll work on that.

We laugh again, still petting the bird, and I do a negative motion with my head, rolling my eyes with amusement.

-Hey, Thena?

-Yeah?

-You really are good with weaving. Well, you invented it, but... - I look ahead - ...I think you're destined to...so much more.

-Do you? Sometimes I think I'm stuck here. With books and weaving. Not that I dislike that, but...

-But that's...- he says with a comprehensive smile -... not your life completely.

-Yeah, precisely, eloquence god.

-Well, technically, I am.

We smile and the owl moves, flying away, as we see two figures approaching home, the first a tall, athletic man, with tanned skin, short, curly, golden blonde hair and eyes with the same color, the second a woman, also very athletic, with gray eyes like mine, pale skin and straight, long, jet-black hair. Both with archery materials and freckles all over their bodies.

-The twins! - I say smiling, getting out of my room by jumping out the window, Hermes doing the same as me.

We can see them smiling as we get close, Apollo giving me a bear hug that, for some seconds, makes all the air in my lungs scape, Artemis greeting Hermes and both laughing when they see my situation.

-Bro, please let our little sis breath. I'm pretty sure you can kill her doing this.

-Uncle Hades is cool, he would give her back to us.

-I don't know if I would come back to someone who choked me to death. - the god of arts gasps dramatically, pretending to be offended. I giggle, hugging Artemis and she kisses my forehead - You are not even my favorite twin.

This makes the other two laugh out loud, Apollo again acting offended and dramatic.
