Chapter 13

Feyi groans with pain as she regains consciousness. She had been knocked for the past couple hours no doubt thanks to the godawful medicine they injected into her.

She looks around and struggles to get back up. Those that say being the last born is all fun and games clearly have not met her family. She knows the culprit behind her current predicament but fears confronting said person.

"Feyi."

She hears that familiar voice but at the same time, cannot do anything due to her current state. The person rushes forward and helps her up.

"We are getting you away from here." says the woman. Just then, two men burst into the room and help take Feyi out.

The Badmus side of the family had always been suspicious of Ebun and the mother ever since Feyi secretly sent her a series of voice notes of some of their utterances.

They tried intervening but the Oguntades always stopped them like the toxic individuals they were. But now they were going to set things right. They are going to free Feyi once and for all.

They get the girl into a car and quickly head off to the Royal Palace. One easily forgets that Chief Badmus was once a Prince during his lifetime and as such, Feyi must be treated as royalty as well. Not that her sisters do not deserve the treatment but given their complacency, they deserve to be snubbed.

Upon arriving the Palace, the servants rush forward and help to take Feyi inside.

"Iyalode thank you for rescuing the child." says Prince Laolu, one of Feyi's uncles. "Chai!! Iya Sade and Ebun are wicked souls!! How can they treat Feyi like this?!!" Otun, one of the chiefs exclaims.

Iyalode simply sighs. "We should be grateful that the child is alive. The doctors will be here shortly to give her proper medical attention." She says.

"Heard that the child loves sweet treats." says Balogun, another one of the chiefs. "We shall sort that one out no worries." Says Princess Yemi. Prince Laolu smiles softly. Of all his nieces and nephews, Feyi was his favourite due to how sweet and gentle she was. Now he gets to properly care and protect her.

It was then that Feyi's grandfather, the Alaafin of Oyo makes his presence known. "Kabiyesi oh!!" Everyone says as they bow to him. The king nods. "How is she?"

"She is weak but she will be fine once the doctor takes care of her." Says Iyalode. "Food has been sorted too."

"Ah good. As for that mother of hers and her sisters, we shall deal with them later. Right now, Feyi's our priority. That boy Dolapo has to be saved from those women as well."

"No worries about that, Seriki and Balogun will go and consult the Priest about that one." Says Otun. The two chiefs in question nodded and head off to the shrine.

"WHAT?!!"

"Yes. We did not expect them." says the doctor. Just now, Ebun was told that Feyi was taken away to safety by the Royal family. She simply cuts the phone and throws the phone at the mirror, smashing the glass into bits. "No!! T-This cannot be!!"

Meanwhile, the Ifa priest gets to work chanting ancient and incantations to counter Ebun's evil magic. Almost immediately, all those that were bewitched by Ebun, including Dolapo are freed from her curse.

"Jesus Christ. What happened to me? Wait....where is Feyi?" Dolapo asks
