C35 My Worries and Her Worries Are Almost The Same 2/2

It looks like she survived and she even looks healthier. Like she came back from the dead... The dead... Dead...?

I just remembered! Her face! Her face looks exactly like the miss' caregiver! Isla Carson! Right! Her name is Isla Carson! But she doesn't act like her? nor does she have color blindness.

Is this girl her twin sister? I don't recall her having a twin sister though? A brother I know but I've never seen him before...

The other day I was preoccupied handling the guy who was with her. Maybe he was her brother? He was really cute and funny when he talked so I was quite nervous speaking with him, I almost wet myself while holding back the urine in my bladder. Because of that I was quite rude, I even forgot that the item they wanted to buy had great amounts of discount that day. In the end I only offered him the usual plan... I hoped we could meet again and maybe...

Oh right! Her twin sister! Her twin sister is alive and here right now! I should just follow her until we meet again!

Now back to reality.

"Technically both of us are the drivers since she can't see the road because she's small-"

Both of them were the drivers!?

"You're not that tall too, you know!"

"That's why we're working together! You're the driver and I'm you're eyes! Because we're both small! "

They drove all night all the way here!?

"That doesn't make me happy at all."

"Mmmwaa~ What's with all the noise? Yawn* Are we there yet?"

The 'unconscious girl' next to the driver's seat finally woke up from her sleeping state. It was an expected outcome because of the noise we were making while being inside the tightly sealed car.

"We're departing again! Let's go!"

"Again!?"

*vroom! *vroom!

The engine growled at the morning cold, as if it was trying to warn me of the danger that approaches.

From just the sound, I already knew what I should do.

"Uhm... Miss! I think I should drive!"

"Nonsense! We don't have time for switching seats! And this is my seat!"

I failed though.

"Stop squirming!"

"Now go!"

The miss shouted with her hand pointing forward.

*vroom *vro-tsss *vro-tsss

"What's the hold up?"

"We're out of gas."

Thank goodness!

"Thank God!"

A voice of relief came out from the taller girl's mouth. The feeling we had was mutual.

Mission success!

"Your welcome."

The driver girl said.

"Get out everyone, we're switching cars. Ari, get the other car."

"Yes ma'am."

Thank goodness she called for me. Now I can finally change the future.

"Why is she taking so long?"

"She's a really slow and careful driver."

"I see... but where was your car placed anyway?"

"See that tall building over there? That's where it was parked last week."

Fio said while pointing at the really tall building which was really far away. It would probably take half an hour if I ran without my boosts before I get there.

"What!? You made her run that far!?"

"Nah. Don't worry, she likes being ordered around by me. I order her to clean the store with her bare hands very often. Look at my store compared to the ones beside it, it has lesser weeds, right?."

She reassured... wait that wasn't reassurance!

"You should have let me take her there! I can cast magic on her to boost her stamina and speed! And yes, the store does look cleaner than that of the others."

I never really noticed it but once you look closer it was really clean, like the inside of the hotel I was supposed to be staying at.

So that's why it was so expensive, I thought these giant weeds grew at specific places because their regenerative abilities are so fast that you will never notice it if some people actually cut parts of it off.

"You never told me. She probably took a cab half way though. That girl is sly sometimes."

"I don't think so... I haven't seen any cars except the yours since we got out. You should probably go after her, Char."

I prepared myself to run at full speed but I was halted from casting my spells by Fio's shout.

"Wait! There she is!"

She yelled while stretching her hands towards a really big black contraption far away from us.

"What on earth is that!?"

It was already big earlier but as it continued to approach us... It was still getting bigger!

It had four gigantic rubber tires on the sides and one over the ceiling with really long springs which almost looked like legs connecting to the also very big case where the tiny looking female was steering the whole thing.

If I had to describe it, it's a...

"A monster truck! I want to drive it!"

It really was called monster!? I don't want to know anymore!

"Wait a second! How did she even get up there!?"

The case where she was sitting was so high up because of the really big tires it had. It was bigger than me! The only way you can get in was to...

"She flew up using wind magic."

I guess that was how it happened.

"Can the four of us fit in that small case?"

That's no small case! We could fit there with space to spare!

"It has a passenger's seat at the back."

"I see... I thought it was for display, like the usual ones. It was actually for passengers?"

There are more of this gigantic monster?! And it's used for show!?

"We could also try riding on top. The tire up there should make a great seat especially for us small girls, but you wanted to drive right? Driving shouldn't be a problem from that h-"

"No! Let her drive! We should sit on top!"

"So miss, who's driving?"

The 'monster truck' finally arrived in front of us. It was a little bigger than I imagined earlier.

The tire was one head taller than me, the springs were bouncy when she stopped and the case looked like it was just the front that was occupiable while the back part looked like just some box.

I don't even see a hole to slip inside.

"You specifically chose the one with the tire seat on top so you could drive, did you?"

"I plead innocence!"

She declared while looking away.

It was really unconvincing with how she quick she averted her head while shouting those words.

"Well, you won, we have someone riding on top, careful when driving or they might fall."

"Of course miss! I would commit suicide if you would die because of me. I'd even die if-"

"Enough. Carry me up...woah!"

"I'll carry you, we're sitting up there together right?"

Puchi bridal carried the Fio but she refused her offer.

"We've been up all night, I think I should get some sleep."

"I see... kids do need more sleep after all. Char, you're sitting with me right? Want me to carry you up?"

"I am sitting on top, but I think I'll get there by myself. I don't really like the fact that a girl smaller than me will bridal carry me over a monster truck."

Fio said, the girl driving this was a slow and careful driver so I think a great experience like this shouldn't be left to pass.

"Hmmm. Okay, too bad Seth isn't here. He would want to be carried up there."

"You miss him already?"

Puchi looked a bit sad when she said that. Actually she's been sad ever since we threw Seth's dead body beside the guards earlier.

I think Seth might not be coming back, maybe his case became just like mine. Where you get to have one wish, a wish granted to you by the creator.

If it was Seth's wish, then he would wish that the girl we're chasing right now be alive again rather than letting some random girl revived her by chance.

"No. I could see him anytime I wanted, but I won't."

"Hey, you two! Let's go! We don't have much time before traffic's going to jam us on the road."

Fio who was already sitting beside the driver suddenly called us and in response, both of us flew on top of the monster truck.

"Are you ready girls!?"

"Aren't we missing the guy from earlier?"

Puchi asked.

"There's a guy-"

"Nope!"

The driver quickly answered.

"Onward!"

"Girls? Aren't we leaving-"

A loud roar resounded the road and we departed from the store.
