Chosen

A new born baby with a head full of white hair was wrapped in a black blanket, with the word Spe readen across his forehead. Even though there was no people around to see this baby it wasnt alone it was surrounded by multicolored butterflies that protected him. Every day around noon Mr. Wu takes his afternoon walks around that area, but today he sees this infant which made him decide to walk over to it. He does this cautiously trying not to freak out the butterflies surrounding this new born baby, as the butterflies noticed him approaching they clear a path for him to see the child. Without thinking he picks the baby boy up out of the basket and the butterflies flock towards him and released some information. "You chose to help this child so now it's your responsibility to raise him and make sure he survives to become the most powerful little boy to exist. This child alone holds the power of the gods and demons and everything else to balance this world make sure he doesnt fall under the wrong influence," the butterflies finish up. "Wait so how do I raise him," Master Wu ask as the butterflies fly away into the distance.

15 years later

Spe's POV

"Marcam its fun just jump in," I say trying to get my best friend to jump in the water with me for the first time. "I cant what if we get caught by Master Wu-" I interput him mid sentence and hop out the water. "Master Wu can wait were having fun." I see Marcam eyes go wide and I freeze, as I here a familiar voice. "Can he now," he says replying to my remark as I slowly turn with an awkward smile on my face. "You can wait for you birthday present duh," my voice raises as I see more of his face. " Nice try what did I tell you about leaving the temple!" he yells before grabbing my ear and pulling me back into the gates. I wave at Marcam right before feeling the full pain that left me screaming. "ow ow ow I'm sorry it wont happen again!" He let's go of my ear as we enter, then turns to look at me. "Repeat back to me what I said about being outside the gate," he crosses his arms. " Its dangerous and people are out to get me." He nods his head "Exactl-," i cut him off. "But I can take them." "NO! Now if I catch you outside the gates again I will punish you myself." The rest of the walk to the temple was silence with a couple of glances from time to time.

As soon as I lay on my pillow I feel I was waken by Marcam busting in."Spe get up were gonna be late for class," I sit up in confusing. "Huh?" I look around trying to get my eyes to fully open. "We have 5 minutes before class starts we cant afford to be late to Mister Glare's class." As the name Glare hits me I pop up, and throw on some clothes running straight out the door.
