7 Chapter 6

"Sigh. Finally, that was the last of them." Releasing a heavy sigh, Akame wiped the beads of sweat off her brow as she finished transferring  the remaining lab equipment into another lab on an uninhabited island.

It's been two months since she and the others left for Konoha, and a week since they returned from their trip as they immediately began moving their lab.

"Yeah, and it looks like the specimen hasn't awoken from the racket during transport, so let's finish resetting your lab." Eto said, motioning with her chin at the stasis pod receiving a small glare from her niece.

"Don't just call him a specimen... Never mind, thinking about now we haven't given him a suitable name yet..." Dropping her glare, Akame sighed before shifting her gaze to the stasis pod.

"Let's just call him Kami."

"I'm not calling him that." Stepping into the lab, Ruri furrowed her brows hearing her daughter's suggestion.

"Yeah, sounds rather corny." Akame groaned as she scratched the back of her head.

"Enough, I'm sure you two should be focused on getting your lab all set up before that monstrosity wakes up." Shiratama said, walking in behind Ruri along with Iroh, who was only recently informed about what Ruri and Akame have been up to.

"Monster..." Akame gritted her teeth hearing her grandfather's words. "Whatever..."

As Shiratama said, before doing anything else, they should focus on ensuring the lab was properly set up.

Together, Ruri and Akame made sure all piping and connection were in order while the other three watched on from the middle of the lab.

"And... Done. That should do it. I'm surprised he hasn't awoken since the diagnostics I ran predicted he should have adapted at least a month ago." Ruri mumbled barely loud enough for only Akame to hear.

"Still, he's an empty husk at this point, and any activity wouldn't be a good thing." Akame whispered as she powered up the monitors when the system crashed and an alarm began blaring.

"What the hell's happening?!" Shiratama shouted, moved to charge at the stasis pod, anticipating the worst yet to come.

"Well fuck me." Ruri sighed as she rushed over to Akame and began trying to reactivate the containment system.

Tik...

Time seemed to come to a slow as a small crack formed on the stasis pod. The next moment, before anyone realized it, the entire stasis pod erupted in an explosion, sending glass shards everywhere and spilling out the green liquid that filled the pod.

A defining ring filled everyone's ears as they turned their attention to the very large man standing motionless where the pod once was with his head down leaving his black hair to shade his face.

Immediately, Akame launched her chains forward to ensnare her creation before forcing one of her chains into his broad chest.

"I did it!"

~Shinku's POV~

"Hmm?" Slowly, I open my eyes, feeling my body being shaken violently, only serving to make the feeling of having an entire galaxy pressing down on me all the more agonizing.

"What is it, Nobu?" I ask, seeing the loli manifestation of my katana, only to sense a feeling I really wished I would never feel again.

"You sense it right? Then you need to move now. Thanks to your battle before, you're no longer a god, but we can still make this work." Nobu said, standing from my side  and moving over to the seven other former gods she most likely dragged over here... where ever here is.

"I'm not doing it, Nobu. I already saved the multiverse once from that woman, It's not my responsibility to do so every time the multiverse falls into chaos." I groan as I force myself to my feet, every movement feeling like I shredded my entire nerve system.

"What about Kaguya? Kotaru? The rest of your wives, your children? You can't seriously tell me that with their lives on the line, you won't step in and act." Nobu didn't even look at me as she hovered her hands over the seven gods who were laid out in a circle.

"Why bother? They're all gonna die, and I don't have the power to protect them anymore. With how I am now, what else is there for me to do?" I grind my teeth at the thought of letting my loved ones die, but I'm well aware of the fact that without my divine powers, I can't reopen my personal Dimension.

Add that to the fact that my Dimension will collapse when I die, exposing them all to the collapsing multiverse.

"You're right. They will all die, and at this moment, unless another God decides to stop the collapse, which is highly unlikely since they all can care less about the end of alternate worlds." Nobu said as several different divine auras were being drained out of the other gods.

"So what the hell -"

"Simple, combine their power with yours to temporarily allow you to travel through the multiverse one last time. Wherever you land, you'll have to regain all of your strength and become a god once again. They may all be erased, but more worlds will be revived, and their alternate versions will be reborn." Nobu said, not wasting any time as she forced the god's drained power into me.

"Gah! Warn me first next time!" I shouted as the sudden burst of power erupted inside me as I felt my eyes blaze with divine power.

"Nobu!"

"Don't worry about me, I'll be with you forever." Nobu smiled before turning into a golden light that shot into my brow.

"Kaguya... Obake... Everyone... I wish I could stop your end..." I whispered before glancing at the fallen gods.

"Let's get going, Shinku. This dimension is already on the collapse. If you don't leave now, then we'll just die." Nobu shouted in my head, and I immediately created a dimensional rift to the most stable world I could sense at the moment.

"Well, here goes nothing." The moment the black portal opened, I leaped through and immediately felt my body rip apart from the void between worlds.

The void that destroys all that's not divine.

. . .

. .

.

'Fucking hell. Dimension traveling without my divinity hurts more than losing my divinity.' I groan as I feel the turbulence of having crossed through the void in the middle of a multiversal collapse.

I'm barely able to move my body as it feels like I'm not even in my own body and simply floated in space.

'Nobu...'

'Shinku! Why did you leap into the eye of the storm? Never mind, just get the hell out of the cage!' Nobu shoited in mind as I weakly fluttered open my eyelids as my vision was invaded by a green liquid and a glass not far from it.

Though I'm unable to move my body, I can feel an aura inside me weaker than when I was a god but still stronger than when I lost it all. It was... rather nice to feel power that wasn't borrowed by the other gods.

With little effort, I flared my chakra pressure and destroyed the glass I was contained in, resulting in an explosion.

I can faintly hear the panicked screams and shouts, but I'm still unable to move as my head is drooped. I could feel myself slowly adjusting and recovering from the damage the void caused me.

Pain suddenly fills my chest as I feel extreme heat wrapping around my entire body.

'These chains...'

'Shinku, problem! This isn't your original body, I can feel it! The void fucked you, and only your soul migrated over!'

I couldn't even wince as Nobu shouted in my head... and it all made some sense, but i still had questions.

Why the fuck am I in a different body? Why is this body so much like mine? And why are these cursed chains here? I thought I killed the damn bitch!

"Granfather! No!"

I can feel the cold and lifeless touch of sharp iron come in contact with my brow, and I instinctively let my chakra erupt out and caught the cold iron blade with my left hand before snapping my head up and eyes open.

"Don't fuck with me. I don't know exactly what you all have going on, but it's caused me to lose all that I love." I can feel my eyes fill with chakra and undoubtedly transform into my crimson Rinnegan, and I force the old man in front of me into the buildings wall using Allmighty Push.

"Dad!"

"What the hell? He should have been a husk at most!"

"It's not working..."

I could hear the faint shouts of three women and a rage filled my bones at one all too familiar voice to me, as I weakly turned my head toward the woman that had already brought the collapse of a multiverse once and the source of so much of my pain.

"Akame..." I mutter as I could feel the woman's god sealing chains that I always hated, restrain me as she attempted to take control of me using them.

"You know me?"

"Mother..." I grit my teeth as another man leaped at me with a kunai in hand but was launched back as I shot him a glare and activated Allmighty push once again.

"He... called me mother..."

"Well shit it actually worked, and he thinks you're his mother."

'Katon... Majestic Destroyer Flame...' Still restrained, I take a deep breath, filling my lungs with a chakra converting it into I flame before I released it all in as six giant balls of bright red fire that engulfed the enture building we were in.

"Shit!"

The building was blasted apart from my attack as I sensed the five humans break their way out of the building, just barely escaping the blast range.

But that only made me grin as I know just how these chains binding me work, and now that their owner was forced back fat enough, their hold on me loosed enough for me to rip the chains around my body off leaving only the chain in my chest that was still gripping my soul in an attempt to bind me.

"Nobu, can you tell me just how this world caused the collapse of so many worlds?" I ask as I tug on the chain in my chest.

'I'm not sure, but it definitely has something to do with your 'current' body. Though your mothers alternate version is most likely the true cause of it all.' I frown hearing Nobu's words before using Allmighty Push to disperse the flames that roared all around me and the building.

"Then I should get some answers before killing them all." I crack my neck before taking a step forward, seemingly teleporting from where I stood, to right before one of the older women that had violet colored eyes.

"Скажите, что вы все сделали?" Gripping the woman by her skull, I whisper in another language. Our eyes connect, and I peer into her memories. All that she and her daughter did... these fuckers... they went and played god.

"What did he say?"

I restrained myself from crushing the woman i now know as Ruri's skull as I tossed her over toward her sister.

"Dir hutt meng Léifsten ëmbruecht. An elo... Ech ginn dech nach eng Kéier Mamm ëmbréngen." I glare at the alternate version of my mother as her body trembles, and I swear I could see a much older version of her in a spiritual form behind her.

"Stay back..."

"You know... many believe you can't kill those you love. But I've already killed my mother once, and I'll do it again." I whisper as I appear suddenly in front of Akame with a crimson colored chakra blade surrounding by palm like a blade as electricity sparked from it.

"Goodbye... Akame..." I move to piece the teen through her chest as time flows at a slow pace even for me.

"My son..."

I watched as the spiritual version of my mother and her teen version overlap with tears rolling down their cheeks, yet they continued to smile.

'Look at me, mom!'

'I love you!'

'I'll protect you forever and ever, my sweet little boy.'

'Mommies, sorry, Shinku. But this is for you.'

'Perish...'

'I don't blame you, Shinku... Thank you... I love you...'

Like a movie, I couldn't help but recall old... painful memories that I thought wouldn't, no, shouldn't affect me anymore, but...

Why... why do you always smile when you're at deaths door!

My palm freezes mid pierce, only creating a superficial stab in her right breast when I leap back a few dozen meters holding my head in pain.

'Damn it! This body they made is too flawed to actually use and needs to be remolded to stabilize itself...' I feel like my head is splitting open suddenly as my soul fully integrates with the body. Now, I can truly feel just how strong this body is, while still weaker than my godly form, it is definitely stronger than other minor gods.

Though the countless multiversal genetic codes made this body too fragile for MY soul.

"HeheheHAHAHAHAHA ha ha!" Almost instantly, I feel my mind snap and something that should have stayed buried in my soul, escape and take control of the body.

"Oh dear me. It looks like Daddy needs to punish the babies, HAHAHAHAHA!" I reluctantly withdraw to the subconscious world and give control to the evil that lived within me, allowing me to concentrate on remolding the body.

~Normal POV~

"Akame, are you alright?" Ruri asked as she limped over to Akame, who was still frozen in place.

"Y-ye-yeah, I'm fine. Though I don't think if the previous guy would have shown a slight hit of mercy and only killed me... this guy would annihilate everything he sees fit." Akame whispered as she watched the man's curly black hair turn snow white, and his crimson red eyes became inverted with an all black sclera accentuated by seven thin crimson red circles starting from a red pupil.
