'Death and Soul'.

I was the son of a wealthy Chinese family, who went to America in the 1990s. I had a good childhood with warm parents. As I grew up I realized that, North America was not so good in some aspects. I wanted to go to China, but my parents told me it was dangerous, as the family would not accept me, why my parents left the family to come to America.

When I finished college, my parents died in an accident, which might have been caused by some enemy, I felt very sad and lost, I felt anger for my parents' death. After a few weeks I was so overwhelmed that I decided to move to a house in the woods where we spent our summers, so as not to remember the death of my parents.

When I arrived I saw the dusty sofas and remembered that we liked to play with a Rubik's cube. So at that moment I thought about ordering a Rubik's cube from a family friend, when I called him, he told me it would take a while to make it and to give him a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, he said it was complex to make them and due to availability of materials it would take a while, so I ended up waiting.

Back to the present

I looked in the full length mirror in the room, I saw a young man with black eyes, eyebrows like swords, thin face and short black hair, he is 6'2". At that moment my cell phone rang, it was the blacksmith's message that he had brought my order, I received it with a cup of green tea and entertained him for half an hour until he left.

I said to myself while I opened the package and took out the Rubik's Cube, what I ordered, it was a Rubik's Cube with a silver structure, with pieces of gold inlaid with precious stones of different colors, it seemed to shine. Even if I spend my savings to make it, I am not worried because I have a stable job as a publisher.

The young man mixed the cube and solved it a couple of times, and thunder rumbled in the background. Until he remembered that he had a project due in a few days and he hadn't started yet. Although that day there was bad weather, but he wasn't worried because he had a lightning rod, what the young man doesn't know is that, the day before, a forest animal broke his lightning rod.

At the moment the young man placed the cube on the desk, lightning struck the cabin, the cube roso the PC cabinet, the lightning passed through the electrical circuit of the cabin to the PC, then passed to the cube and into the young man. At that point the lightning weakened and it took a few seconds before it died.

At that moment I felt as if electricity was burning every part of my body, the pain was tearing my soul apart and pieces were falling all around me.

The whole process seemed like an eternity, although it took a short time. And I sank into darkness, I thought I died.

During this process, the young man's soul became one with the cube and the PC, using the lightning energy contained in the laws of the world and the fragments of the soul, the cube and PC managed to evolve, becoming parts of the young man's soul.

When the world detected that the young man's soul was too powerful, it expelled it to protect itself, the soul wandered for an unknown time until it merged with a similar young man and took control of the body and its memories.

I don't know if it was just a few seconds or years, but I am calm.
