Although this started off average I am already getting bored in the first 100 of chapters then I managed to persevere to chapter 467 and I gave up. I don’t really understand why but the story is kind of predictable during the start of each arc and foreshadowing. People usually create reviews at the start and then stop unpdating at later chapters. A good story not only has a good start but can keep the reader going. I don’t dislike talking scenes or fight scenes but they should contribute to character development. We don’t even see some characters after a long even if they are suppose to be talking with the mc what happen to ice cold flame and the other flames? They were just briefly mentioned later on with only a few significant scenes. The MC expects some girls to be obedient to him even if they have their circumstances and abandon them when they need help (see the first 2 girls he travel with, the girls obviously won’t follow a nobody with no background that they know of, the mc did not reveal his background) .Then at one time with another woman implying they can have *** but he’s not taking responsibility( no marriage or taking care of stuff, she was a scheming person at the start anyways but this still shows the MC’s mentality ). I mean really? I know he isn’t a good person but really? So the mc can be quite childish at times. Overall they story gets boring later on even if you know he will beat his enemies up in the near future.

Worst story ever. Worst startup scenario. Worst story lines. Everything is mumbled jumbled in this story. I thought plot is interesting but execution is worst ever. I couldn't enjoy a single ducking thing about this story. This **** is totally time wasting.

Ok lets be honest the translation quality is trash. The story is good till mid 500 to 600. Till that point author has introduced so many important roles and characters when i meant important they had impact on the story ......... but just gets forgotten for the rest of the novel and shows up out of nowhere again with impact and importance but for exactly like 5 chapter( that is max). The whole novel is way too random and pointless scenarios are everywhere and it feels like reading Filler chaps. This novel is dor beginners to understand that they can go on a adventure to find a good novel out there. Also major point the novel has rush ending main villain appears on last chap for no reason and gets defeated after four paragraph for no reason.....

BEFORE you read this, I thought I'd warn you to save your frustration - The harem is trash so don't expect the harem tag to mean anything. His 'harem' seem to disappear once they've got their little arc as though they never existed or had any relations. If you're going in with the mindset that this MC is a cool antihero who gives no F*** and is well equipped handle himself and situations then STOP now. Mc is probably one of the most frustrating points of this book. He is naive too a big fault, creates problems for himself which could have easily been avoided if he used his brain. the big personality difference between when he's fighting and socialising is annoying to say the least as he's overly friendly and a pushover. Too put it bluntly i wish he'd never talk because that's how bad it is. too end this on a positive note - his personality when he's fighting is the best thing about this book, cold, ruthless and the antihero you would expect if only he'd never have to speak (tried to end it on a positive but the author butchered him) BTW if you're wondering why you don't see these personality flaws at the start it is because they're pretty much wasn't any. however all of a sudden the author decided to do a 180 on his personality so know you've been WARNED.

I found it somewhat lacking! Aside from the hentai contents the story is not well balanced! No proper character development, nothing new or unique!!! If you have time to waste only then should you read this book!!!

Story is great (world setting, char development, etc). But what makes it shiiiiiity for me is Cuz of translators behavior. First he censored chap 801 sexual content(and he demand of $5 USD to allow a access of half champ of sexual content). OK I get it, it's probably qidian demand to censor sexual content, but can you not been greedy to pay $5. Fuk you could have just linked it for free (as we are already paying premium [10+ spirit stone]) or just keep your bloody mouth shut. But noooo you had to comment more on chapter 803 or 804 about how it's only for real supporter. Bitch ain't I pay for your bloody premium chapters? LOL, we all saw your hungry greedy ass and you put chap 801 on, Cuz all people saw your true color. They pay you spirit stone , and vote for you to allow it to be top 10, Are they not the real supporter? Good Job (greed kills)

It's been months since I've read this novel and I stopped at chapter 821, so I can't exactly remember the names of characters, cultivation bases, etc. My only beef with this novel is that almost every story arc is a weak-to-strong arc which will then introduce a bunch of new and more powerful characters before ending the current story arc. You see, the story arc will begin where the MC will have the lowest cultivation base (but of course given that he's the MC, he's more powerful compared to the cultivators with the same cultivation base as him), while the characters around him are one or two full realms higher than him. Let's say these are the names cultivation bases (this isn't the exact realm names used in this novel... I think) which we will refer as "full realm" with the Mortal Realm being the lowest: ● Mortal Realm ● Earth Realm ● Sky Realm And then each realm is divided by low, mid and high which we will refer as "sub-realms": ● Low Mortal Realm ● Mid Mortal Realm ● High Mortal Realm But before the story arc ends or just when the MC is a step away in defeating all the "powerful" characters in the current story arc, the author will introduce another bunch of new powerful characters in preparation for the next arc with one or two full realms higher compared to the MC. Because of this, the MC's achievement in the current story arc gets overshadowed by the new powerful characters because the enemies that are two full realms higher can beat the **** out of him so he has no choice but to either run or be taken as a hostage in the meantime before getting revenge. This is what pisses me off the most. For me, after reading a weak-to-strong story arc, I want the next story arc to be where the MC gets to flaunt his achievements. I don't want to read a story where it feels like the MC is constantly the underdog. Sure, this novel has a "weak-to-strong" tag, but at least give us a break from it from time to time. This is why in my opinion the novel [Chaotic Sword God] is superior to [God of Slaughter]. With [Chaotic Sword God], the author uses three types of story arcs to give the story balance: ● A story arc where the MC is the underdog. ● A story arc where the MC is stronger than his opponents. ● A story arc where both the MC and his opponents are evenly matched. However, because of this, it also made the MC's progress with his cultivation very, very slow. But hey, there's no such thing as a perfect novel, right?

I think that the story plot is okay, it's very generic: MC has special cheat OP skills/items that overturns anything and everything no matter what. Some of the chapters you can skip and not miss out on anything. Only a few lines in each paragraph needs to be read, since most of it regurgitate itself in the same paragraph.

I think its the best story in the word. Why? Because its haremmmm. I love harem but this is quite different also the MC love have good interaction with girls

Got bored when the MC releases the seal of the Pagans. And his character sucks! He's too arrogant that it cringe reading it. Maybe whenever i don't have anything to read anymore I'll read it again especially it has 100 chapters locked. Don't want to waste so much stone on it.

Bada dada dummm! am Loving it. Story is great, honestly it is. MC is overbearing but not stupid, reckless, but intelligent. A bastard but a bada$$.

Once upon a time I loved this novel. It's a great novel by a great author. I read up to chapter 230 and then tried continuing... it's around the same quality as MTL. Quite disappointing, get a better translator for this great novel.

Like the story, but i want to ask the translator if he is trying to make my eyes bleed. It is machine quality all way with little editing, especially for grammer.

I mean seriously!!! Wd declared that they are machine translating. Why would you even hire them!!! Can we get an answer plz? Gonna give 1star for now and hope for the future.... 2 of my favorite novel gone drain by the pretending translator assassin... TTNH and GOS... Fortunately five way heaven is not bad translating as for now.

Though the quality of translation is low the sheer quality of the novel is surprising. It would be so much better if the the chapter updates could be regular and a better editor for this series. The MC of this story is one of my fav as he doesn't act like goody two shoes and simply does what is necessary. The cultivation system is also quite good and well detailed over all a great read.
