Meanwhile in a gym..
"Park Seo-joon! Are you ready for the fight?" The trainer asked.
"I am.." He replied slowly.
"Go to the coachs office and get briefed alright?" He continued.
"Okay I'll go now" He murmured.
Park Seo-joon was a confident and very intelligent fighter. He was cautious and won his fights after long rounds.
"Seo-joon your fighting Leon Pierce next." He quickly said.
"That rookie? He's decent i guess" Seo-joon said not having a care in the world.
"Rookie? He's no rookie anymore. He's a fighter, you understand?" The coach exclaimed after seeing his students carelessness.
"Y-yes coach.." He said.
"But why are you so worried about him?" Seo-joon asked.
"First of all he finished his fights in the first round. Secondly he used his enemies weakness to his advantage. Thirdly he keeps on improving after every fight. I'm still unsure of his full fighting capabilities" his coach replied after analyzing every detail of Leo.
"Go watch his fights on YouTube" He then continued.
"Alright.." Seo-joon replied and left the office.
"What's so special about him? Tsk I'll knock him out anyways" Seo-joon said angrily not wanting to accept what his coach was talking about.
He then walked home and watched some of Leo's fights.
"There's really nothing special with him? What is the coach talking about" he said and laughed.
Altough Seo-joon was intelligent he hated being compared to others, that's how egotistical he was. However it helped him win matches due to his unmatched confidence.
1 day later..
Leo finished his cold shower in the morning and headed down to eat with his family after 2 weeks of being absent.
"Isn't today the semi finals?" His uncle asked thinking Leo would be with his coach.
"Yup" Leo said and asked for the orange juice.
"Do I have to remind you that your not winning?" His uncle said.
"Are you scared??" Leo said and teased him.
"No.. I'm just worried that you will get injured.." He replied with an excuse.
"Whatever" Leo scoffed at him.
"By the way Alyssa want to come watch my fight?" He said ironically.
"Okay" she replied quickly.
"Huh?? She can talk.. alright you can come with me later. Okay?" Leo continued not expecting that answer.
"Do you like martial arts? Leo asked curiously.
"Yes I do but it's more like a hobby" She replied.
"Really? Who's your favorite fighters?" He then said.
"I like the guys from Dagestan" She said and avoided eye contact.
"That's surprising I thought you'd choose a more physical appealing fighter.." Leo thought.
"They are very good.." He said.
"Am I a good fighter?" Leo asked looking at his cousin.
"Better than your foolish brother" she said out loud.
Leo didn't know this but Alyssa had a grudge on Ryan ever since he tried hitting on her not knowing it was his cousin.
"HAHAHA, you know your stuff" Leo replied laughing.
Leo had forgotten his past family after completely isolating himself for the past 2 weeks. He was now reminded of his revenge he had to carry out sooner or later.
"Right I have a foolish brother and a ignorant father" he murmured.
2 hours later..
"Alyssa are you ready?" He shouted.
"Yeah I'm coming.." she replied.
They then went inside his coachs car that stood parked infront of the house.
"Sup coach" Leo said greeting his coach.
"We have another?" He asked.
"Yeah it's my cousin, she wants to watch my fight" Leo replied.
"It will be entertaining" the coach said to Alyssa.
She nodded and looked outside of the window waiting for the car to drive.
...
They arrived at the arena and noticed how full it was. There was a line of people waiting to get inside and a bunch of reporters.
A random person recognized Leo in the car and shouted to the line. Leo stepped out of the car and was swarmed by 5 interviewers.
"The fuck is happening?" Leo wondered.
"Mr. Pierce is it true that you are the famous boxing champion Edwin Pierce's son??" He asked eagerly.
"There's no hiding it now.." Leo murmured.
"Yes it is true however I do not see him as a father" he replied boldly and walked inside with his coach and Alyssa.
That statement would reach the whole world globally. Even Leo didn't know his father was that famous.
"Huh? Your his son??" His coach asked confused.
Even Leo's coach was a fan of his father.
"He's just an old man why's he so famous" Leo thought and went to the locker rooms.
