63 Meeting Chen Wang

The contract stating his purchase on the Crystalline Bubble Tea shop had not been confirmed by a lawyer yet so it was not put up there yet.

That familiar wave of energy enveloped his body, and with a few sounds akin to a glass breaking, he could feel as though his brain had broken free from a few shackles binding the limits of it.

Indeed, his learning speed would increase dramatically after this upgrade.

Si Chen could not help but exclaim at the wondrous sensation that fills him up every time, along with the peculiar sense that he was getting back something that he had lost.

He sat back down onto his ergonomic office seat, which slightly was slightly tilted back after he leaned back on it.

The businesses he was managing was steadily increasing, and he needed to find some people to help him out.

Regardless of how high his wisdom was, he could never be able to manage a plethora of companies all by himself.

He needed an assistant.

Si Chen took his phone from the desk, and dialled a number.

"Yang Deng, launch a recruitment campaign for the drink store. Publish that we are looking for someone well versed in business management. It is best if they specialise in finance and marketing." Si Chen instructed, then thought of something, "And the younger they are, the better. They should be between 20 to 30 years of age."

"Yes, Boss Si." Yang Deng promptly responded.

Si Chen also ordered Fang Bin to do the same, so that he can get a wider spread of options. With the fame and popularity of the Hui Yuan Drink Store and the Seafood Restaurant, he was confident that many potential candidates will be attracted and attend.

After all, most people would want to hop onto a company that has potential and benefit as one of the workers in the future.

And what Si Chen needs, is somebody to manage a variety of his investment companies under him, and lessen his workload, allowing him to spend more time on other more important issues.

He received a call a while later, and he lowered his gaze to see that it was from Principal Qin.

"Principal Qin, what are you calling me for?" Si Chen carelessly picked up his phone and placed it at the side of his ear while still focusing his gaze onto the computer in front of him.

He already had a guess of what he was calling for. It was most likely regarding the mock test results.

Principal Qin cleared his throat, "Si Chen, I have received your exam results today, and after a unanimous decision by the board of teachers, we have determined and agreed for your request to promote directly and skip two grades to take the High School National Exam this year."

"Okay, thank you so much. If there is nothing else, I will hang up now." Si Chen casually thanked him without a change in his expression.

If he didn't pass, then there was something really wrong.

Hanging up the call, he concentrated on the Art & Design online course right in front of him, and time passed really quickly while he was engrossed in learning.

5 days passed as fast as a flash of lightning.

Si Chen looked down at the message on his phone that wrote down the details of his class he was assigned to. Apparently, it was the best class within the Oakwood High School.

After taking a glance at it, he put the phone aside.

Right now, he was standing in the entrance of the WaterLake office building. The owner of this place, who was also the father of Chen Huang, had contacted Yang Deng and requested for a meeting with him.

He raised his gaze up towards the building. It was around 8 stories tall, and could be considered as a high-rise building. This scale of building within the district could not be commonly seen, and it stood out like a sore thumb amongst the other smaller shorter buildings beside it.

Walking inside with an interested expression, he strode straight towards the desk counter where a desk lady was sitting with a straight posture.

She could hear some footsteps coming her way, and lifted her head to look at Si Chen with a slightly surprised, and questioning gaze, "May I ask what you are here for?"

"Your CEO requested a meeting with me. My name is Si Chen, from the Hui Yuan Drink Store." Si Chen flashed a slight smile.

"So it is Mr. Si Chen. CEO Chen has reminded me of your presence today. Please make your way up to the 8th story." The desk lady courteously replied after hearing of his name.

"Thank you." Si Chen thanked her before he went to the lift and waited before going straight up to the 8th story.

Arriving there, he turned his head towards the left and saw a door hung up with a decorate name plate that wrote CEO Chen.

Knocking two times with his knuckles, he entered the room and was hit by a wave of a cool, refreshing scent.

This was most likely the fragrance released in the room to give it more relaxing smell.

The entire place was wide and spacious, and there was a marble coffee table at the middle of the room and a comfortable leather sofa around it.

Going further up, there was a desk around 5 meters wide, where a bunch of files were placed neatly on the side, and a dignified man sat behind with both his hands clasped on the table.

The man's face was adorned with a light, warm smile as he slowly said, "Welcome! I have heard much about your commendable feats these past few days, and I am sure that the new drink which the Hui Yuan Drink Store is introducing again is not far off in quality as the previous drinks you have released."

Si Chen nodded his head. He had instructed Yang Deng to release the 5 new drinks with an interval of 5 days, and it was about time for the next one to be introduced to the public already.

"Please take a seat, and make yourself comfortable." Chen Wang rose up from his chair behind the desk and walked down to the coffee table to take a seat.

Si Chen was not polite, and did the same as he unhurriedly sat down while crossing his legs.

Lifting his eyes up, he went straight to the topic, "CEO Chen, why did you call me here for?"

"Oh? Youngsters are impatient, aren't they? I like this. Always going straight to the topic, not like those old fogies would go a few rounds before they start to talk the real deal." Chen Wang lightly chuckled in appreciation, then leaned back on his seat.

"I believe you must know of the Northwest Drinks. Their CEO came to my office to meet up with me a few days ago. I'm sure you understand what they came here for." Chen Wang revealed.

Si Chen did not have to sit down and think for a while to know what had happened.

"They want you to deal with my business?" Si Chen stared at Chen Wang with his deep eyes.

"That's right! Truly an extraordinary youth indeed. Worthy of being the person who had singlehandedly raised the Hui Yuan Drink Store to its current state." Chen Wang exclaimed. "But how could I possibly fall to his plans? The WaterLake and Northwest Drinks do not have that deep of a relationship, so why would I help them? Especially to deal against someone as unordinary as you?"

Hearing his words, Si Chen's eyes flashed with gleam, "So what are you planning to do?"

His voice was filled with nonchalance, as if this matter had nothing to do with him at all.

Staring at Si Chen's eyes that did not possess the slightest trace of ripples, Chen Wang leaned forward and revealed his intentions, "I would like a cooperation. A cooperation with you."
