Don't Love, keep away from your quirks

Seth shook his head as though ridding his ears of water. With rapid momentum, he ran out of the room, heading towards the main wooden door which leads directly into the alley. As he glanced westwards, what he saw was something he had never and would never yearn for.

A beautiful bloodied female corpse lay upon the dirt of the wet crimson floors, ravaged and devoured. The chest of the woman was shrouded with dark smoky lights with the substance beneath, unseen.

Seth first placed his gaze on the stabbed chests, grieving in immeasurable pain. The beast just killed his mother just because they needed to get some grubs. How heartless and monstrous are they with evil — so brutalizing.

At that instant, he couldn't help but stay to watch the lifeless body of his mother. A large number of tears streamed from his milky eyes, showing off the amount of desperation within his intellect. As though emitting the beasts who were trying to break down the locked embankments that he had just set, he bent calmly and threw a flimsy look at the corpse.

< There's no time for whines, you have to get 30 status points right now >

"No! I can't, I can't leave her here", Seth groaned, intensely pathetic. Slowly and gradually, the beast was already taking down the wooden barriers. Only to calm his boiling heart, he whispered to the air, clutching his fists "No!!!"

He wished he had not been forced to sleep by the strange lightning. Though, he knew he couldn't have gotten the system without having that nightmare. And that was the reason why Wormwoods had to manipulate his dream. This was so aggravating that Seth wished to go back to his dreams to confront the Evil angel and tear him apart if possible.

Sure, he knew he was no match for Wormwoods. Facing the nightmare manipulator to a fight was as though jumping willingly into hell. But right now, his current predicament was what he had to face. Get 30 status points to slay the three beasts to get 45 status points.

'This system looks like a business, I don't really know what's its endeavor in me. I won't be surprised with myself when I decide to delete it from my life, Seth thought after standing up with his face furiously frowned.

Hearing the bangs on the barricade, he knew that sparing more time to moan his Nanny mother would definitely cause him another deterioration. As though talking to a petty young servant, Seth asked the system a very confusing question.

"If I get killed by an enemy, will I die? "

< Reviving requirements >

<Owner of the system must have at least, 10000 status points to revive him >

<Owner of the system must be a Virgin >

< The Owner of the system must tolerate and dominate his Flaw. >

< The Owner of the system should love no human beyond his relation. >

< The Owner of the system should keep away from his quirks for he has worn the body of an Immortal. >

Truly, if he tries to let himself die without doing this thing, he is surely a goner. At first, Seth smiled a bit in response to the second requirement. His pride of still being a virgin hastily arose. He was lucky not to have tried the sweet activity, he should thank his stars that no girl of his age grade was available since they have all vanished after lifespan reverses.

Seth knew that was the only thing that had made him a virgin up to this moment. However, his urge for sex permanently stopped when he turned sixteen, though, he didn't know how it died off. All in all, what made him a little bit delighted was that the second requirement was possible.

Nonetheless, the other requirements seemed so difficult. The first one was that he would store 10,000 status points before consideration of dying. Anyways, that could be achieved after a long run if he had to fight for it.

Eventually, the other two requirements were seemingly impossible. Coming to think of it, he knew preferably that his main quirk was irremovable. He can't really do without eating rabbit meats in even a day — that was just going to let out a gut disease from nowhere.

And lastly, LOVE. Seth bitterly giggled. As a matter of fact, he almost burst into laughter, being heedless of the dreadful incident that was in progress.

"Love? Who cares about Love? That word is itchy to my ears. Love is known to be completely fake. If it comes in terms of love, I don't have a problem with that."

Again, another word appears.

< The Hairy Beasts are minutes away from breaking down the barriers. Get 30 status points now and slay them. If you slay them outside the cottage, the status points will multiply by two >

'Is that a tease? Is this thing trying to place pity on my sorry ass?', thought Seth, attempting to evacuate the aged wooden dark cottage. He then, glanced at the infuriated beasts, scowling as he stepped rearwards with his always-cursing mouth about to spill out another word. "If you monsters really want a fresh, light-bloodied pulpy heart like mine, then come get it. "

Seth strode outside of the cottage stumping his brown booty shoes upon the dry leaves atop the thick muds. Dark and Evilly plugged, the atmosphere remained the way it was. The Dusk night was still on. Seth suddenly turned into a blind man at that moment. He was unable to even catch a glimpse of his legs which was actually leading to only Dead God knows where.

Unexpectedly, he booted his foot fingers to a tough, thick pointed pebble. "Ouch! Shit! Darkness is continuously pissing me off. I'm fed up with these horrors. How I wish I knew Earth was this hard and uncomfortable, I would have refused to come out from my mother's womb — who knew Earth was going to be this rotten, actually uhh, this universe. Nature is indeed, proving that it's sucks!"

< You have bruised up your leg fingers. Use 10 status points to activate first aid>

<You seem to be lost in darkness. Use 5 status points to activate the Led flashlight >

< Warning: The hairy beasts are incoming >

< Warning: two unidentified creatures are hovering from the twilit forest >

"Holy shit!", Seth yelled, lipping his wounded legs towards an heightened circled rock. The pain was too much for him to carry on. Since the system had not given countdowns before the arrival of the creatures, he got some time to clean up his bruises, ignoring the unfamiliar roar from the Hairy Beasts.

He quickly tore a thin piece from his cloth disfiguring the cloth's prestige. Looking ragged or not, he was determined to stop the fast flow of his bleeding feet. Though, who would care if he was looking rough in a rough world?

Seth gritted his teeth, quivering like a cold bird beaten by a deluge as he tightly tied the wound.

The funny thing in this part was that Seth refused to use his status points to activate both the LED flashlight mode and the First-aid mode. He wanted to save them for the future, what if he used it now and fell into a deeper problem?

Correspondingly, he has to get more status points as said by the system to slay the incoming beasts. Even now that the system had sensed other incoming creatures, he knew he had to get more.

Also, everything seemed so calm, the dancing ghosts were nowhere to be found. Of course, Seth knew something was wrong. The Horned Head Beasts (Armies) were no longer seen in their caves. The three-dimensional-sided shaped spears, always held by the armies were posing upon the rocks close to the cave.

After examining all these things, Seth finally panicked. Though, that doesn't change the fact that he had to act fast.

In some ways, Seth knows pretty much how to trick things. Somehow, that was what he had always done since his nightmares of hearing strange voices. Sometimes, he finds himself with some creatures — not mostly bad ones, but ridiculous and playful little dinos and cubs.

So, his main aim was to get more status points as fast as possible to be extra-ready for a big fight. With a sword, he could really kill anything, he guessed, though partially sure. He didn't know how special the sword might be, maybe it could end up being something so disappointing.

The roar of the first beasts was really ominous, though, but not as bassy as Wormwoods's voice. Seth was kind of surprised. This one looked like a Lion with a human-like face, a Bear's tooth, and a Buffalo's arm. He never gave the beasts a long gaze back indoors to fully analyze their features. If he had, an iron rod on their huge heads would do for a killing.

However, if that were to happen, this is the right time in the right place. At least, his status points were going to multiply by two.

Before Seth could make any move, another deep-red sentence appeared in his retina. This one was blinking as though it was in a critical situation.

< Your lifespan has dropped a day. Use 40 status points to perform daily tasks and meet up. You are liable to lose all your status without achieving the task. From now henceforth, for you, a day past is a day lost>

Author's note: Note that this is just the beginning of the premise, the MC is still not aware of the system's ambition. I would gradually break down the Evil and Good traits in the next chapters. Keep reading and stay safe. Remember to support.
