Cripple

Wu Feng looked up at the sky. He was a cripple ever since he was seven. Most of the veins in his body were disconnected except for his heart and mind. Although he still had some veins in his limbs, he could barely move them. The only reason he was not expelled from the sect is that his father is a clan elder. Every day he regretted his crippled self. Only the strong had a place in this world. A cripple? No way. In this world, there were 5 elements. Fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and light. There were many other elements in this world but unknown to the whole world. There were 9 ranks in cultivation. Above it, only people strong enough would know. Wu Feng was deep in thought. He soon returned the Wu sect.

When people saw him, they muttered, "The cripple's back." "Wow, such a worthless son. His father must be so disappointed in him."

Wu Feng gets these comments every single day. He went to find his father.

"Hi Feng'er, how was your day today?" Wu Tian

Wu Feng replied depressingly, "Same as usual"

They sat in silence for a minute.

"I'm sorry..." Wu Tian said

"For what?" Wu Feng questioned?

"Your state of condition"

*Flashback*

"Dad, I want to cultivate!" Wu Feng shouted

" Ok, Feng'er try to focus on your heart and mind into finding the elements."

Wu Feng tried this, then he screamed in pain.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Wu Feng screamed

"FENG'ER!" shouted Wu Tian

RIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

A loud rip was heard. They weren't his muscles, it was his vein!

*End of Flashback*

Wu Feng thought about this. He sighed.

"Don't worry father." Wu Feng said

Wu Tian felt touched. He was about to say something but a guard busted in

"Elder Tian, we are being attacked!"

Wu Feng and Wu Tian pupils widened. They wordlessly came outside. They saw the destruction. It was the Luo family. They felt anger boiling up inside of them

"Elder Tian! Help us!" a guard yelled

Wu Tian rushed to help. Wu Feng stood in shock.

One of the archers snickered, "Look at that kid, he standing still! Is his crazy? Free kill I guess!" The archer laughed to himself. The archer released his nocked arrow. Wu Feng noticed the arrow at the last moment. He slightly dodged to the side but the arrow still heavily wounded him at his side.

Wu Tian rushed to his side, "FENG'ER!"

Before Wu Tian could reach him, Wu Feng fainted.

I CAN'T DIE

"Then don't'." a voice said

"Who are you?" Wu Feng asked

"Someone who wants to help you, trust me, " he replied

"Why should I?" Wu Feng yelled

"Wannabe a cripple for life or not?" he replied calmly

He outstretched his hand.

"Take my hand" he continued

Wu Feng took his hand. Suddenly, a bright light shone. Is this my new start? Then he felt pain.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" yelled Wu Feng

His broken veins were replaced with sturdy ones. Wu Feng soon opened his eyes. He felt elemental essence all around. This is the start of his path of being the strongest!
