1 A Man Who Lost Everything

At the top of a cliff, a man was sitting leaning his back against a lonely slant tree. Taking a deep look at the perfect natural beauty of the forest

Thinking about the life he had led till now, tears started to flow down his cheeks. He turns on his favorite sad song on his mobile & clicks on the repeat option. Holding a Rum bottle in one hand, he takes a sip from it every few seconds.

Dark clouds started to spread in the sky. Soon the bright world became dark. Flashes of lightning and the sounds of thunder were seen and heard following the dark clouds. Drops of water started to rain down from the sky wildly. The raindrops drenched the man, yet the man didn't try to take cover from the rain. He looked towards the sky and made a smile filled with mockery.

"Well, nature is beautiful but cruel. Every creation in this world is incredible if I could have been satisfied with just this and led a simple life." After finishing this sentence, he again mockingly smiled and continued to talk to himself. "In a world full of greedy people, I would be asking for too much. These humans will always use innocents for their selfish plans. Especially, when a man is at his lowest, they will squeeze out his soul. This world! I hate it."

Talking to himself, he slowly stands up and arrives at the edge of the cliff. His legs finally start to tremble. Facing extreme fear, the man consoles himself by overcoming his fear with hatred.

"Good-Bye." saying that the man closes his eyes and prepares to jump. At this moment, the man feels a hand on his shoulder. This action of the unknown individual freaks him out, causing him to halt the jump. Turning his head and body slightly back, he sees a woman in her twenties with a simile plastered to her face. The man was dumbfounded. 'How did the heck did she get here?' Slowly his fear turned into anger.

"Who are you?" the man questioned the lady controlling his anger. "Who am I doesn't matter." replied the lady and continued to smile. "What do you mean it doesn't matter? of-course it matters!" yelled the man and continued. "You stop me from jumping and say that it doesn't matter?" the man closes his eyes and takes a breath in to calm himself. Anyway, what do you want?" The lady ignores his question by saying, " This is all you have to do. Breath in and forget the rest of the world instead of trying to jump down the cliff."

The man didn't feel like talking to her anymore and decided to jump by ignoring her presence. But the woman grabbed his hand, making him stand confused. "Let go of me, you crazy woman. Are you trying to fall with me?" the lady replied, "Don't flatter yourself. Unlike you, I am not suicidal."

The lady finally stops smiling & says, "I couldn't watch a person killing himself and standstill. Follow me I will show you one of the life paths a person can take."

The man looks at the lady and says, "Even though a beauty likes you asks me to follow you, I won't. Do you think I am a fool? I am 24 years old. In these 24 years, except for my mom, no girls have ever talked to me. And now a beauty like you is asking me to follow you. I won't fall for it."

The lady got annoyed, "Don't overestimate yourself. And I am a person who lives under the celibacy principle. You think you have seen everything in this world. Do you want to leave the world with only hatred? A few people in the present world understand the true purpose of life and death. I am giving you a chance to know what it means to live and what it means to die. If you aren't satisfied with the way I show you, you can always return, and I won't interfere anymore."

The man was in deep thought, 'Purpose?' 'meaning for life and death?' 'And there are people who understand the truth?' After some time, the man grinned at the lady. 'I will show you how evil humans can be. I will let you show me this world of yours. I will slowly corrupt you just like they did to me.'

Seeing this, the lady smiled at him.
