SYSTEM OF THE GODS

In the middle of a jungle, a 15 year old boy could be seen hiding in the trees watching a bear that was about 3 metres tall. This young man was Jidu Jiao who had already been in this jungle for 3 hours, but he found nothing except for this bear which was of an unusual golden colour which caught Jidu Jiao's attention.

"What is this damn bear?". He said internally to himself as he looked at the bear who was sleeping peacefully.

*Groan*

*Groaning*

Suddenly growls sounded that alarmed both the bear and Jidu Jiao. The beast that made those sounds was a giant wolf that was heading in the direction of the bear. The bear got up and went in the direction of the wolf to face it directly, but the bear quickly fell to the ground as the giant wolf was physically stronger.

Jidu jiao was surprised and realised that the wolf was at least a 4th order beast and wondered how such a beast ended up in a place like this.

The wolf approached the bear and began to eat its limbs, but to his surprise there was no blood when it tore off its parts, instead it was expelling motes of light. But a moment later Jidu Jiao's eyes glowed as the motes of light the bear was expelling were taking shape to finally turn into a golden key.

"I see, the keys are those bears, rather I have to kill them to get them". Jidu Jiao said internally to himself, but then his expression turned dark.

"If I want to collect that key I have to wait for the wolf to leave, there's no way I can beat it." Jidu jiao said internally.

The wolf stared curiously at the key that was left after it killed the bear, but after a few moments it ran off in a certain direction.

Jidu Jiao sighed deeply and then began to run to grab the key, but suddenly a figure faster than him caught up with the key. It was a tall, handsome man with long hair that reached his waist.

Jidu Jiao was surprised and felt anger, but he knew that the key did not belong to him as he was not the one who fought for it so he stepped back and tried to leave.

"Kong Ke, stop that scum for me." An angry voice was heard addressing the person who snatched the key from Jidu Jiao.

"With pleasure young master." Kong Ke said as he threw a punch at Jidu Jiao. The latter tried to dodge, but couldn't, as the person he was facing was superior to him and sent him flying a few meters.

"Jidu Jiao, we meet again scum, I want to see how you will defend yourself since that bitch Yin Xue is not here to protect you." Hong Han said with a malevolent smile on his face as he looked at Jidu Jiao in pain.

"Hong Han what are you filthy shit, don't you know that Elder Yang said that we can't kill each other you piece of shit." Jidu Jiao said angrily.

"Hahahaha, Very well you said it I won't kill you I'll just break all your bones, but if you kneel before me and call me Grandpa Han I can lessen the bones." Said Hong Han with a smile.

"Hahahahahahahahaha, stop spouting shit and come to me I will rebuild your ugly face". Jidu Jiao said as he stood up and Hong Han at his words became furious.

He instantly ran out to hit Jidu Jiao, in response Jidu Jiao also threw his fist, but the moment they connected Jidu Jiao's arm made a cracking sound as if something was breaking, but he made no sound of pain or complaint, he instantly raised his other arm to try to hit Hong Han and Hong Han was caught off guard as he did not expect this and Jidu Jiao's fist connected with Hong Han's face and he was knocked down to the ground.

Jidu Jiao ran out and was going to hit Hong Han once more, but Hong Han's lackey kicked him and sent him a few meters away.

"I keep hitting that bastard, how dare that scum hit me?". Hong Han snarled angrily and Kong Ke hearing this gave Jidu Jiao a flurry of blows to various parts of his body and then Hong Han joined him in beating Jidu Jiao miserably. Jidu Jiao started to spit blood and had several broken ribs and blood all over his body.

"Let's leave this scum alone young master we still have 4 more keys to go and we haven't found Gong Fei and Ya Fei". said Kong Ke.

"Yes, you're right let's leave this scum alone for today". Saying that the two started to leave.

Jidu Jiao could be seen lying on the ground almost dead with an empty look in his eyes.

"In the end this is all I can give am I trash?". He said as bitter tears came out of the corner of his eyes.

"Mother." Said Jidu Jiao

"Come here don't cry." Said his mother as she hugged him.

"Mother you don't know how much I wanted to see you, father and my brothers, I should have died....". But before he could finish his mother interrupted him.

"Don't say such things that you are alive gives me much joy, remember, no matter what you do I will always be proud of you, you are not trash, just don't give up. Your father once told me in this life it is not about being superior to others it is about bettering yourself because your worst enemy is you, there is no feeling more powerful than bettering yourself, The strongest person is the one who does not lose to himself and you have fought well so far, better yourself every day my love.

Hearing those words Jidu Jiao could not control his tears and wanted to say something, but his mother suddenly disappeared, But there was something else that shocked him suddenly in front of him appeared a blue screen.
