It's a good story to read and the development of the plot is great. The only bad thing is that it's super slow and it's difficult to maintain certain interests unless you like slow burns. Another thing I also want to say is that the mc is really not a villain so I don't get why there's a villain tag. I have yet to see the mc commit something truly atrocious. Perhaps the only thing close to one is his killing the possessed humans but even then there was an excuse and, to be honest, he felt sympathy. I really don't see how this twists into a villain unless he is transforming into one. It's just quite difficult for me to see such contrasting behaviors as he is fine with killing but later there has to be a chapter devoted to his moral dilemma. Very annoying because this has happened in every incident he has killed someone. He literally can't make up his mind on his principles and frankly, it's getting on my nerves.

A great story with quality, it's one of the best on the platform. The pros will be at a minimum since I'll only write what stood out to me(the story is great, so I won't go deep with the pros) , but the cons are things I noticed that made me put the book on hold, so they'll to the point. pros:- Descriptive and articulate writing, the author knows how to portray scenes and get a feeling across. it's not the simple "mc did this and this is the result", no, you can feel the scenes and natural flow in the writing, the writing quality is that good. - the characters are great, not one dimensional. You can connect with the characters and understand them. the relationships and interactions are beautiful. - the flow of the story and the build up and the action are all amazing. Cons: - Too much happening in too little time: this feels even more dreadful once you know that a major element in this story is about immortality and death (spoiler from the first chapters). I mean imagine an immortal, which can live thousands upon millions of years, and then look at the story, I reached 300 chapters and it's still a prologue where not even a month has passed. My dude MC is being given a lifetime of action in a month, and it's supposed to be that way because of fate or whatnot, so it's always gonna be a life full of action. seems tiring for me as a reader. But, more than anything, not even a month and we reached 300 chapters, then what, the story will reach 1 year by the 2000 chapter or something. unless the author does a time skip, then this is just too much packed within too short a time. the mc is getting the treatment of normal humans as an mc, which they live only for 80 years, but he's immortal, he can get all the action need through time, no need to pack it in too short time. and this is the main reason that I put the book on hold, I just got tired, even if it's beautiful written, it's just the timeline isn't moving accordingly. - Slow development: this may be connected to the above, but to make it clear, the above is about having too much happen in too little time for an immortal and knowing that this will be a common thing. NOW, slow here means that it takes too long for each arc to reach a conclusion. some chapters are not need and some details within chapters feel useless. Example, at the end of book 1, it took what, about 10~15 chapters to show something that needed no more than 3 chapters. and there are a lot such cases. Because a lot of chapter are needed to cover just one day in MC's life, the story started to feel very slow. No need to do everything in a day my dude, just spread it out, the mc is immortal. you could take some notes from "reincarnated as an energy with a system" for some notes in that regard. - Not planned or scraped scenario?: well, sometimes it just feels like the author is writing with an overall plan of the end point of the story, maybe that's not true, but things get dragged out sometimes. and sometimes things were not consistent because of it (spoiler example incoming) [like when at the start, mc with sae, the mc said no relationship because of reasons, but later on, he hooked up with ms aunt lawyer and he considers her a lover, so what's up here? keep in mind that ma dude didn't even pass the 3 weeks mark and changed his mind)- This last con is mainly about some misgivings I have of the story: I just don't feel the harem in this one, why force it? I get that mc is a gigolo and can hook up with anyone, but I don't see the harem and romancing multiple targets suits the MC, maybe it's just me, but the dude is already busy as is, I would rather he gets one main best girl who always stands by his side rather than he just hooks ups, establish relationship, then targets another. (like maybe he gets main girl open minded, and he hooks up with others but she kinky so it's alright,but not establish that all of them are his wives) how would you explain the harem, don't say that all of them love mc so much they don't mind the cheating, they ain't brainless and author established thta pretty well. (SPOILER: Aunt lawyer got cheated on, and now she'll be mega cheated on?)
The problem with WN is there aren't many quality works and the rankings are weird asf. But I am proud to say this is one of the best WN that I have read. Till now Hero Of Darkness as well some other works are on my favorite list. And now this book is on it too. The amount of work Author does For World Building is phenomenal. Highly appreciate the effort man. Keep Going! P.S. -- On my personal scale I would beaten it as 9.2/10.0 (since there are many other legendary works on it.)
This is top notch, the last arc even made me buy privilege! Compared to the beginnings of SHK the increase in writing quality is noticeable. I especially enjoy the more mysterious world with a more varied powerset, which can benefit from less worldbuilding than in SHK. Regarding the characters there is non I dislike, though I think the heroines could benefit by keeping the harem small and focusing more on each one. So far I've liked the action/battle scenes, though they could do with a bit less introspection during them.
