For non-profession, they can only use an weapon without skills to kill monsters, of course, for a players they can't use their magic without skill. The skills can get in skill book and some item that can get in drop of monsters, and the skills have an restriction. For example's some books have an general skill book where multiple profession can use and the specialize book that one profession can use. The Skill Books have also an tier, unless you use some special item that you can use to decrease the restriction in Skill Books.
