8 Current Game Project: Zombie Survival Online

"I haven't seen your human form yet so I won't make any promises. As I said, I am not the innocent and naive boy I once was. Although personality-wise, I approve of you. But if your appearance isn't as good as mine as you said it was, then it would be no different from a swan lusting over phoenix meat."

Weiss wasn't stupid so he didn't immediately agree. After all, who knew if Alice had a means of forcing him to fulfill his promise as long as he made a verbal agreement?

So unless he saw Alice's human form and was tempted by her appearance, he wouldn't agree even if he already approved of Alice's personality.

At most, if he didn't approve of Alice as a lover, he could still accept her as a friend.

[Wait, you plan to friendzone me after rejecting me?]

From Alice's tone, she was taken aback by Weiss' plan if he rejected her.

After all, for Alice who liked Weiss, it would be far more painful for her to be friend-zoned by him and watch him have other women while she could only become his friend.

Although Alice never told Weiss why she liked him, Weiss could at least perceive that Alice's feelings for him weren't fake and that's why Weiss didn't blatantly reject her and gave her a chance.

When Weiss heard Alice's words, he consoled her, "Just so you know, even if I rejected a girl, I would never accept them as a friend as they weren't worth of me. However, you are worthy to be my friend."

"Those who have a huge gap in status can never truly become friends. And even if they did, it won't last that long. And if lasted that long, then it would be a miracle."

Hearing Weiss' words, Alice couldn't disagree with it so she could only cry silently.

[o(╥﹏╥)o]

[I don't know whether to laugh or cry.]

[However, I am still confident in my appearance. So as long as you don't pursue any other women until you reach 1 million Dev points, you won't regret dating me.]

Hearing Alice's words, Weiss nodded, "Sure. I'm not in a hurry to find a lover anyway."

After Weiss agreed to not date anyone until he dated Alice first, Weiss added the last finishing touches to the game world.

After the zombie survival game was completed and the finishing touches were added such as adding game easter eggs, Weiss didn't publish the game yet but asked Alice, "I have already completed my first game."

"From the system novels that I have read in my past life, 8 over 10 systems would have a starter package."

"Does the God-Level Game Developer System have any starter package?"

When Alice listened to Weiss' question, she immediately answered.

[There is a starter package. But you can only receive it after you publish your game. That's why I haven't informed you about it since you haven't met the requirements for receiving it.]

[Since you already completed your first game, it doesn't hurt to tell you about the starter package. But to receive it, please publish the game first.]

With Alice's confirmation of the starter package's existence, Weiss didn't delay the publishing of his first game.

Using his thoughts, Weiss left the game workshop.

After leaving the game workshop, Weiss' mind was brought back to the real world.

His eyelids opened, revealing his golden-colored eyes.

Since his mind was transferred to the game workshop, Weiss in the real world was taking a nap.

If not for the fact that he knew he had owned a system, he would mistake the game workshop as a dream. After all, it was too surreal to have god-like authority in creating the game world.

When Weiss looked at the time on his desktop computer to see how much time had passed since he entered the game workshop, he was immediately surprised to see that only a second had passed!

"After subtracting the time it took me to open my eyes and check the time on the computer, it seems that only a second or even less than a second has passed since I entered the game workshop."

After that discovery, Weiss was relieved that creating games while he was in the game workshop wouldn't consume any of his time in the real world.

In other words, he wouldn't have to worry about creating games that would take him a lot of time to develop. After all, time was precious and every day counted especially when he only had 2 months left until the aliens invaded Blue Star.

[To be exact, only a nanosecond has passed since you left the game workshop. No matter how much time you spend in the game workshop, only a nanosecond will pass in the real world.]

Hearing Alice's correction, Weiss felt that his system deserved the "God-Level" in its name.

From Weiss' estimation, he had spent at least 18 hours in the game workshop to create the zombie survival game. It was too unreal that even after experiencing 18 hours in the game workshop, only a nanosecond passed in the real world.

However, Weiss didn't question it since the system was capable of bringing in-game items to reality so he shouldn't be too surprised by mere time manipulation.

Sitting on his gaming chair, Weiss didn't want to waste any more time so he immediately used the Workplace feature.

[Workplace]

[Current Game Project: Zombie Survival Online (Unpublished)]

[Remaining Game Slots: 0]

[Game Developing Tool]

Weiss noticed that unlike before, the remaining game slots showed 0 instead of the previous 1. Aside from that, the current game project was no longer "none" but instead, it added the Zombie Survival Online which he had just developed but hasn't been published yet.

This time, Weiss pressed the current game project which brought him to another system interface.

[Current Game Project]

[Zombie Survival Online (Unpublished)]

[Do you want to rename "Zombie Survival Online"?]

"No."

Weiss preferred a simple name that was easy to remember so he didn't change the game name.

[Do you want to publish Zombie Survival Online in all app stores in Blue Star?]
