Walking up Eric saw what looked like a small red child, but unlike a normal child it had long ears, horns, and a tail. "well if that ain't one ugly mug." hearing his voice the thing, which he realized was an imp, walked over to him and began to talk in some jibberish that he couldn't begin to understand. Smiling he said, "dumb too. Sucks to be you, little buddy."

As he said this he heard a deep voice "yes, it would be bad to be an imp." looking at where the voice came from he saw what looked like the imp but an adult with bigger horns and actual clothes, as well as a long sword, "I'm surprised to see you alive, human." the last word it spat out like it left a bad taste in its mouth.

"you'd be surprised how much I hear that at my job. So what now? Sacrifice me to the dark lord? Eat me? Oh, maybe you'll turn me into one of those ugly fuckers." pointing to the imp it began to growl as it didn't understand what the meat bag in front of it had said but it knew it was an insult

"not quite, I will be taking you, prisoner, along with the other survivors." looking over he saw more imps putting stone cuffs around some other people's arms and legs "and the dead ones?" Eric said pointing at the man next to him, who had been impaled through the head by a loose metal bar. "obviously we will eat and sacrifice them."

"cool." hearing the nonchalant ness of the man the demon asked, "you don't seem bothered by this?" as he was pulled out of his seat by an imp and had the shackles put on Eric looked over at the demon and said "again, you'd be surprised how much I hear that at my job." hearing the humans answer the demon asked, "what would that job happen to be?"

Being pulled out of the bus along with the other prisoners he said "long and boring story."

"I see." hearing the humans answer the demon just turned towards the imps and spoke something in the jibberish that the imps spoke in earlier. After he said whatever he said the imps began to pull the prisoners into the giant red portal which had other groups of people being pulled into.

"spooky." walking forward Eric realized that the ground around the portal was turning the color of rust and the color of blood.

Getting closer to the portal he realized that the air was... Different. More chaotic and powerful than normal. Just as he realized this a screen of blue light appeared in front of him and judging by the fact that most others had stopped and or had stones faces, he wasn't the only one this happened to.

seeing that everyone had stopped and was looking at black space the demon leading the group stopped "this shouldn't be happening for another three hours, why did the system show itself this soon to the new players?" seeing that the head demon was confused, Eric asked, "what do you mean it wasn't meant to show itself this soon?"

Hearing the humans question the demon turned to him and said "the system is only meant to show itself to someone once they have adjusted to the new ambient energy. This usually takes about three to five hours depending on their talent, the faster the more talent they have. But it's only been about thirty minutes since this world gained mana and you all have your system."

Understanding the demon's confusion over what had happened Eric then asked "why did you say both energy and mana? Arnt they the same thing?" hearing the human's new question the demon said "there are many different types of energy, the most common are. Corrupt, holy, and mana with a few different sub-categories such as mana having qi, holy having angelic, and corrupt having demonic."

Pausing to let the human understand the demon continued "different species can use different types of energy, as demons can use demonic, and as you may have guessed angles can use angelic. Some rare species have a special type of energy or can use more than one such as dragons having draconic, a type that doesn't fall under one of the three main energies, or neflims that can use angelic and demonic."

"You, from being born as a human and raised on a mana-based planet, will have the ability to use mana. If you look, or feel depending on how the system manifested, at your system you will see 'MP' that's how much energy you have stored in you, for a normal person it should be 10 to 20, and for a talented person it would be 20 to 50. I have yet to meet someone who has more than that when thay first awaken. Before you ask 'HP' isn't there because it has no bases to put it on. 1 MP is a universal amount, 1 MP of mine is the same amount as yours. However, things such as quality, density, and purity can change how that 1 MP acts.

Quality dictates how potent your energy is, for example, If my quality was higher than yours then we each made an orb of energy out of the same amount of energy my orb would be brighter and more corporal than yours. Density is how much energy is stored in each part of your MP, if we go back to the orb, the amount I would need to make one the same size as yours would be less overall than yours. And lastly, purity is how good your energy is. This one is a little hard to explain, let's say we both made the same orb in size and brightness, if my purity was higher than yours then my orb would be inherently 'better' than yours. Purity has the biggest impact on how your energy works, while quality may make it more potent and density makes it more, well, dense. Purity makes it something more if we both used the same energy but my purity was higher, my energy would just be better, different, more refined."
