Chapter twenty six- Practice

The night before the event

I was woken by the sound of screaming and laughter.

My eyes shot open as I lift my head and look around the room. No one. That's when Markus busted into my room. So did Mezy both broken out into a sweat.

"It's absolute chaos outside!" Markus yelled.

I got concerned. My eyes squinted in question as Mezy nodded.

"The Mexican Academy are all trying to force Mente from her home. I think you should try to stop them. We aren't strong enough to do that!" Mezy says. My heart began racing a little.

I quickly remove the blanket from over me and rush to get my slides on with no socks. I grab my hoodie from off of the dresser before rushing out of the dorm.

"Who's doing this again?"

I slide my hoodie on in struggle as Mezy and Markus speed walk along side me.

"I guess they feel disrespected. She has her own little privacy. They feel she's treated much better than they are and they are apparently God Ranked," Markus says.

"Got to the point they began breaking her windows!" Mezy says.

We reached the door.

I could see students rushing to the event all brave and bold since the new group were doing it.

"HEY!" I scream.

Arianna turns around and looks me in the eyes.

"THIS IS INSANE!" She smiles.

I wasn't smiling and neither was Mezy or Markus. I could see Jason and his friends collecting rocks from off of the gravel we stepped on.

The clouds were heavy in the sky and a light rain fell upon everyone's skin.

Police guards and other teachers ahead of everyone rushed to the scene. They must've already been there but weren't bold enough to tell these students to stopped.

"If Mente kills us all it's their fuckin fault, bro!" Markus cried.

We all run down the path walk. I stop looking at Jason who had done the same thing.

"Put the damn rocks!" I demand. Jason smiles and continues to pick them up. Arianna grabs my arm yet I was focused on Jason since he seemed like the cause of all of this.

I turn around after staring at Jason for a few moments.

Looking ahead of me was a crowd of almost all students all huddled around Mente's home.

"GO STOP THEMMM!" Chihiro came jogging to us four.

Mezy, Markus, Arianna, and I all make it to the crowd.

"STOOOOP!" I scream. The students all go silent as I push my way through the crowd. I make my way to the front seeing the difference between my academy and the Mexican academy.

I step onto Mente's front porch looking down into the crowd of students. Probably about 150 of them all standing there. My eyes scan the ground. Broken glass from Mente's windows on the ground. Her porch nearly burnt off.

"FUCK YOU!" I hear.

My eyes instantly look towards the person who said that.

A guy standing at almost 7 foot tall stands out int he crowd. His skin tone dark. I could see the goth like clothing he wore. His twin sister who almost looked exactly like him stand beside him.

They both walk up as everyone else in the crowd steps back a few steps.

"She gets to go to class whenever the fuck she wants. Gets whatever the fuck she wants, and does shit however the fuck she wants. Her own fuckin... fuckin condo! While we share rooms with each other." The twin sister says. She steps onto the porch with me standing eye to eye with me.

I looked down at her a little bit. She was so close I could smell the 5 Gum she was just chewing up close.

"It's Mente..." I say.

The tension was high around me.

The girl raised her hand. Almost instantly her fist caught fire. Her fire was so hot I could feel the flames touching me while she held her arm all the way out to her right.

The flames were blue and like nothing, she through a ball of flaming hot fire into Mente's home.

"She's... weak... and so are you!" The girl spit on my shirt before walking off of the porch. Everyone around the house made a disgusted face.

The Spanish accent in her voice stuck out so much in my mind.

That's when the doors behind me open. I turn around only to be grabbed by the arm. Like a little feather, Mente tossed me off of the porch.

I fly in the air as the crowd of students screamed and backed away. Mente had opened her door so hard the door came off of the henges.

I rolled on top my stomach.

Mente held her palm out using some type of power to lift that woman into the air. Mente did this all while walking down from her porch.

Her left fist balled up. Her twin brother held up his fist turning it into an ice ball. But before he could do anything, Mente simply placed her eyes on him, forcing him to bow down to her. His neck bent downward so he couldn't see anything.

The girl was stuck in this trans as Mente looks her in the eyes with such anger. Students began running.

As the girl reached Mente, Mente placed her hand around the girl's neck, lifting her off of the ground with ease.

"Speak of my name again and you're gonna wish you were aborted!" Mente threatened. The girl was scared shitless. Her forehead sweating badly as her brother was still being controlled by Mente's power.

Markus, Chihiro, Mezy, and Arianna all came running to me helping me off of the ground. I stand up watching as Mente threw the girl next to her brother who fell to his side after Mente stopped controlling him.

"Come on... Let's get out of here!" Arianna says.

Mente stayed staring at that girl and her brother as they both scrambled to their feet and ran in the opposite direction.
