2 Cafe Creation

Stepping out of the door was more of a formality than anything, as I could just teleport anywhere I wanted in an instant.

Wishing Izuya good luck in my head, I start planning out my path forward.

Creating a multi- or even omniversal cafe might seem like a stupid or random idea, but it isn't.

Never in a trillion years would I believe that Nevil goes down that easily. Sure, Izuya might have killed him, but Nevil had a long time to plan and scheme. I have no doubt that he had a backup plan. Or perhaps dying was all a part of his plan?

No point in overthinking it for now. Instead, I must prepare for anything he can throw at me.

And preparing for Nevil's schemes is precisely why I had the bright idea of creating a cafe for fated people across the omniverse.

As a bit of a detour, I did not create all the multiverses as even with my long life, that just wouldn't have been possible. Instead, I made a system where any made-up universe within an already existing universe would become a reality.

An example of this system is a world called Earth. The people there truly came up with some unbelievable things. Any movie, book, or anime they thought of would quickly become real in some corner of the ever-expanding omniverse. Having enjoyed a lot of those, I decided to make use of them for myself.

Fated people are either the main characters of a world or those closely related to its story. Sometimes they might even have the mythical power of plot armor on their side.

If I could bring these people together, let them help each other solve their world's problems, and push them to grow stronger and gain new powerful abilities, they could become my greatest weapon against anything Nevil may throw at me in the future.

With all that in mind, I created a new, private dimension that would accommodate my new cafe.

Having an infinite amount of space to expand and play with as I pleased certainly doesn't hurt.

Standing in my new dimension, all I can see around me is void.

This won't stand at all, I think, and make the surroundings look like the alps. In the far distance, there are giant mountains with snowy tips. The cold feeling is offset by plenty of green grass and sparse patches of trees. Right next to the upcoming cafe, I create a small lake for future fishing competitions. (Image in comments)

I create a sizable building with a cozy brown wooden floor and red brick walls. The interior has a small counter in the corner for myself with a door leading to the kitchen. The walls are bordered by couches, while the inside has several chairs and tables for guests. I've added a side door that leads to a balcony with even more tables for anyone who prefers eating out in the sun. (Image in the comments)

I leave plenty of room for expansion as I plan on adding several features to the cafe in the future.

Now comes the fun part. Setting up the functions of the cafe that help those who come here grow stronger.

No power comes for free, and that's something I firmly believe in. I have several functions in mind, but I must first create a currency unique to my cafe for any of them to work.

After trying to think of a good name for a long time and not coming up with anything, I just gave up and decided to call it Cafe Credits or CC for short. Not very creative, I know, but I never really was good at coming up with names. I have also decided to give a free gift of 100 coins to everyone who enters for the first time.

The first function of CC is to pay for food and drinks. What kind of cafe would this be if you couldn't even buy food or drink tea? That kitchen in the back isn't just for show, you know. I created a robot to act as a cook for now. Perhaps I can recruit an actual person for that later.

The food here isn't typical, of course. Looking at the menu, each item has a description of its effects next to it. Everything meal provides temporary boosts from increased defense to faster growth from training. The stronger and longer-lasting the result, the more expensive the meal. Drinks act as potions. They can heal anything from small scars to fatal injuries in seconds. Any disease, poison, or injury is curable for the right price.

Considering the effects of the items, they aren't even that expensive. The cure-all elixir disguised as black coffee is the most expensive item on the menu, and it only costs 100 CC.

The second function of CC is to be used in the store to purchase new abilities, magic, bloodlines, equipment, and much more. These can get remarkably expensive as something like the Saiyan bloodline is valued at millions of CC.

With all this spending, cafe visitors might be eager to learn about how to acquire more CC. Well, currently, there are three ways of making CC.

First is selling their own powers, bloodlines, or abilities to the store. This, however, is not a recommended method as selling their powers would, in most cases, permanently weaken them.

The second is trading their real-world currency for CC. There is no fixed rate for currency trading. Instead, people have to trade a percentage of their wealth. Wouldn't want a billionaire to walk in and become an omnipotent god in mere minutes after all.

This means that someone poor like Sadao Maou could come in and trade 1000 dollars for 1000 CC because that's all they own; meanwhile, someone like Tony Stark would have to cough up billions of dollars for the same amount of CC.

The third and most efficient way of earning CC is the mission system.

Missions are a way of sending inhabitants of one world to another to complete tasks or help defeat powerful enemies. Participants for missions will either be chosen by me or, in some cases, participant spots will be available to all who volunteer.

After a mission is completed, rewards will be distributed to all participants. The reward will always contain a hefty amount of CC. In addition to CC, the participants may be awarded items from the store I chose for them or gacha tickets to get something completely random.

To finish it all off, I add a spell to the door, so anyone who enters will immediately know who I am and what this place is so I wouldn't have to explain it every single time.

With a sigh, I officially open up the cafe, sit down behind the counter, and take out my Nintendo switch to play animal crossing while waiting for my first customers.

As luck would have it, I don't have to wait for long as only a few hours later 2 women wearing some rather peculiar costumes dash in, looking behind them as if escaping from someone.

Taking a moment to adjust to the information pushed into their heads by the spell, they look around them with a dumbfounded expression.

"Pamela, you seeing what I'm seeing?" The woman wearing a form-fitting cat costume asks her partner in crime.

"Seeing yes, still working on believing." The green-skinned woman responded.

Before they had time to say anything else, a third person wearing a bat costume jumps in after them. Ignoring the ladies, he stares at me with a calculating gaze.

"Welcome to God's Cafe. How can I help you?"
