1 The Awakening

Inside a studio apartment sat a 16 year old high school student. A bright-yellow aura was surrounding Zhao Lin in his small apartment.

This phenomenon was known as an "Awakening" it granted the person with superhuman abilities and power. Though the power each person received was different. This power was measured and put into a category descending from S,A,B,C,D,E,F in each rank there were 10 levels that you could progress for example an F rank would start at level 0 and be able to upgrade to level 10 while a B rank started at level 40 and could be leveled up to 50 through hard work. Each level gave the player 3 attribute points to put in any attribute.

In these ranks there were three categories of how you have progressed through your rank. For example, C- meant they have progressed 3 levels or lower while C+ would mean they progressed 7 levels or more. Although every human was awakened at around the age of 16 over 50% were F rank and 30% were E rankers.

The only way to be stronger than your average same level ranker was to be awakened with a rare, epic, or legendary class.

Before we get to detailed we must check in on our MC. Zhao Lin had just gone through the awakening which only lasted 30 seconds where the receiver went through immense pain. After Zhao Lin had completed this process he collapsed on the ground.

Saturday 10:38 am

"What happened" Zhao Lin jolted as he finally woke up. "Huh?" Thought as a blue window appeared.

"C rank!And a summoner!"Zhao Lin screamed in shock. Summoner was a rare class separated from the usual common classes.

But as he read on it only got worse"I-I-I'm a goblin summoner??" Thought Zhao Lin. Usually a goblin summoner would be a D rank.

He then looked over at his three new skills.

[Shadow Goblin Summon- summons a shadow goblin to fight at the users will this goblin will substitute damage taken for your mana.

[Shadow Goblin Save- Can store a summoned goblin at no mana cost.

[Shield- A shield that protects the user from every angle. Consumes mana to stay in form. Cost: 2 mana per second]

"Shadow Summons!!" Zhao Lin broke out in happiness. Shadow summons would never truly die and as long as you had mana you had your summons.

"Wait isn't this OP" Zhao Lins mind wondered. I've never heard of a summoner having this [Shadow Goblin Save] skill.

"Would this mean he could start off in a dungeon with 10 shadow goblins" Zhao Lin thought in excitement. "This shield skill will definitely be useful also" Then realized that his mana regeneration was 0.5/sec so this shield skill wouldn't truly have it's worth now. "This means I can spawn a shadow goblin every 20 seconds" an image of a goblin horde appeared in his mind. Then he saw there was a max number of summons he could have.

After his head cooling down he decided to follow the procedure of going to the nearest awakening test.
