One Week Later..

"This desert seems endless.. well I'm sure I'm far away enough to do some more research now." Xen took off his cloak that was now scarlet on the bottom due to being dragged on the dyed sand all this time and he then casted a simple spell that costed no mana.

"Mirror Reflection!"

With this spell one would be capable to see the entirety of their body, in and out.

"Two hearts, that's helpful. Wait.. what is that?"

Something all living beings had was a mana connection that was wired throughout their body, what Xen had just found was that his mana wires were all Black!

"Mana decay.. but that shouldn't be possible. Normally no matter the race you wouldn't be able to suffer from mana decay unless you used a spell that consumed more than your maximum mana.. I'll need to fix this later on. This is bad, I'll need to be more cautious when fighting."

Mana Decay prevented one from using 90% of their maximum mana and it would slowly eat away at it until they are never able to use magic again.

"Well.. I can do this much at least." Xen grabbed his cloak and laid it out in front of him, his eyes turned into a black light as he said "Enchantment!"

He then began to draw in the air with his finger creating mana wires onto the cloak, and then after 2 hours it was finished.

Xen spat out blood and collapsed. "I may have gone a bit over the limit. This body is so weak.. but I need to gain power as quick as possible."

The cloak then began to glow an azure blue light for a short moment before returning to normal.

It took Xen's all just to create a simple enchantment for increased speed by 5%, this may seem small but in actuality it was quite a lot. The smallest amount can change the outcome of a battle.

"Once I recover my mana and increase my mana capacity, I have quite an opportunity, having two hearts enables me to be able to enchant both of them!" Xen thought until suddenly everything turned black and he passed out.

Worms suddenly erupted from the sand and started moving closer to him..
