We start off outside. Laying in the grass is a young man (or teen), looking up at the clouds. 'Man I wish I was a cloud, atleast then I wouldn't have to participate in such a boring, cruel world.' His name is Zack, no last name. He has no family, or friends. Any friendships he made only lasted at most a year.

Jason was wearing a black t-shirt with Jeans. He wore no shoes or socks most of the time because he prefers to be barefoot. He had black hair and golden yellow eyes with a average build.

As he was looking at the clouds, the sky became a dark purple. The sun had also changed to a bright green color. However Jason wasn't all that curious about the change, because the less you know, the happier you'll be right?

Well he was gonna leave it alone until something shined in the sky right above him. But before he could think, he got hit by a beam of light/energy. After a second the beam slowly faded away, only to reveal the same energy flowing around Jason, most of the energy was flying around him like strings.

After a bit the energy flew into his body like he was absorbing it. At this point Jason was standing up. Once the energy was fully absorbed by him, he sat down in order comprehend what just happened.

He couldn't believe what had just happened. He was shocked, very shocked. But he eventually calmed down with the help of the energy. 'How troublesome, this energy, essence, has helped me understand what just happen. It's apparently a type of energy that gives random people the ability to do super human stuff. It can even let you recreate stuff from shows, movies, and anime. It gave me basic knowledge on how to use it, and like many anime with a type of energy, I can increase the amount of essence through training or some other way. The only downside is that I'll now be stuck in this realm until death. Atleast this'll be funner then my old life. Damn I'm thinking as if there's an audience watching me.'

Jason stood up, and stretched his hand out and gathered essence into his palm. Once he has enough he fires it into the city river, it cause a large splash. The splash wasn't all that big. He then tried to shape essence into a sword. It worked, but it is not the best. 'I'm gonna have to some work it seems, oh well nothings free in life.'

After a bit of training, he was about to set off. However before he could go any where a kunai flew from the top of the building towards him.

(Hope that this first chapter was all right. As I said in the synopsis I'm just gonna come up with the plot as I go, but I'll be glad to receive some story ideas.)
