22 Valery’s Rampaging Vulberus!

The team of 5 female fledglings stood face to face with the crimson 3 headed thread monster that Valery exhausted the majority of her Krowqui to conjure in order to defeat them. She and Nagoo were standing atop the central bird head, however, Valery was encased in a crimson orbital web barrier that linked her consciousness directly to her created beast.

"Feel my Vulberus's wrath!" At Valery's behest, the mighty Vulberus began spitting out humongous bundles of crimson Krowqui threads at the perturbed ladies.

Baiera was the first one to get attacked by the bundle of crimson threads. As soon as she dodge, Nagoo appeared behind her with clenched fists.

"Baiera watch out behind you!" Lyra's warning came just in the nick of time.

"I've had enough of your sneak attacks, Nagoo!" Baiera caught Nagoo's fist and abruptly slammed her onto the ground. Subsequently, she expanded her metallic feathers to form a big right arm that she used to punch Nagoo's gut a few times, sinking her further into the ground. "Now be a good girl and sleep."

Okami became worried upon seeing this ruthless scenery, thus she inquired, "You didn't kill her did you, Baiera?"

Baiera responded, "No, I only knocked her unconscious."

Watching from above the tree, Mou gave his judgment. "Not bad. I give you a 6 out of 10 for that swift takedown just now." He showed them a rose with the number 6 written in bold. "Though, you would have received a full 10 had you smashed her with that big butt of yours."

Adusa shouted at him, "Stop distracting us with your lewd bullshit, you damn ass pervert!"

Lyra also added, "Yea, Mou just quit it already. We're trying to stay focused here."

Mou sincerely apologized. "Ok, sorry, sorry. Carry on then ladies." He flicked his wrist nobly at them.

Turning to face Valery, Baiera told her, "Now that Nagoo is finally taking a nap, we can knock your feathers clean off without worrying about any further interruptions."

"Yeah! Come on girls let's do this for we got stinger spirit!" The ladies were fired up! They began encircling Vulberus with strict valour as they chanted.

"We got stinger spirit! We got stinger spirit!"

"Tsk!" Valery became upset as she unwillingly listened to their resounding chants. "Oh, is that so? Then I shall break your stinger spirits in half! Vulberus Body Separation!"

Each head belonging to the gigantic 3 headed bird monster gradually came asunder to form 3 Vulberus's, each with its own head.

"What is this monstrosity? Now they are 3 of them!"

Hearing their surprised utterances, moreover, seeing their fearful expressions, Valery said to them, "Fu-hu-hu-hu! You're scared. I can sense your fears from all the way up here. All of you will soon perish before my gallant steeds!" She rubbed the middles one's hide as she issued her command. "Break them my darlings! I know you'll never fail me!"

"Here they come!"

Each of the 3 Vulberus's had its own wings. One of them used it to enhance its thrust towards Okami while lashing out with a huge paw strike that hit her directly.

"Disperse!" Soon as she was hit, Okami's body separated into many scattering feathers which later came back together at a nearby location. Flying higher, she started manipulating her dark-purple Krowqui Circles to form multiple geometric patterns between her palms.

"Krowqui, Dison Wolves!" Soon as she tossed forth the particular geometric pattern, 3 dark feathery wolves matured into existence that immediately rushed the thread creature. Their attacking pattern was well coordinated. Sometimes, they transformed into rotating guillotines that severed a few of the Vulberus's thick threads.

"Great job, Dison Wolves! Show it no mercy!" While encouraging her fierce feathery wolves to send more power into their attacks, Okami failed to realize the giant paw of the second Vulberus smashing toward her rear.

Luckily, Riuk was close by and noticed what was going on, moreover, quickly intervened. "Krowqui, Vine Sprout!"

A cluster of barks shot up from beneath the second Vulberus's locality and entangled its paw just in time to save Okami from getting pounced on. Riuk went a bit further and ripped off its big leg.

"How do you like that?"

"AAHH!" Valery felt a bit of pain from within her orbital web barrier. She and her 3 Vulberus's were inextricably connected. She started glaring at Riuk intensely. "Don't get your feathers twisted, you insolent crow! This is a longshot from being over!"

Valery merged back her injured separated steeds back into one entity with 3 heads. From within her orbital web barrier, she manipulated her crimson Krowqui Circles to create a prehensile arm capable of grasping the sheathed weapon poised at Vulberus's left flank.

"Vulberus, release your katana!"

"KAAW!" Vulberus released a terrifying shockwave that blew the enemies further away within the forest. Next, it started pulling on the katana's hilt, gradually initiating the unsheathing process.

"What now!" The ladies didn't know what to expect as they fought against the shocking air currents in order to keep themselves steady.

Riuk identified what she briefly interpreted as a dangerous anomaly. "Is that a sword made of thinly woven threads?"

"KAW!" Vulberus fully withdrew its katana from its sheath and wasted no time slashing away at its many flying targets. Vultures Byte's forest was quickly being mowed down!

"Dispersed!" Okami swiftly transformed into separated bundles of feathers again to avoid being chopped to bits.

"Bark Barrier!" Riuk hid behind a continuous series of bark uprisings. The wood element could barely keep up with all the slashes it was incurring.

"Poisonous Retreat!" Adusa's body transformed into boiling purple liquid that seeped into an uprooted tree trunk to avoid getting minced to bits.

"Contraction!" Baiera shrunk herself very small to vanish out of the Vulberus's line of sight.

"Astral Mirror, Refraction!" Lyra turned into fractured fragments of glass to avoid getting cut. She waited until the malevolent shockwave subsided before she started creating many bigger mirrors around the marionette creature. Multiple reflections of Vulberus's attacking pattern were duplicated by the mirrors, moreover, redirected back at its humungous body.

"Marionette Cocoon!" Valery quickly protected her Vulberus in added layers of crimson threads which prevented it from getting chopped to bits by its reflected attacks. Moments later, she had her Vulberus execute a monstrous twister slash that shattered all the looming mirrors.

"Lyra!" Her teammates were worried for her safety. They kept their focus close to where the shattered frames were but no sign of Lyra was seen in sight. Shortly, they heard a familiar voice behind them saying:

"I'm ok ladies." Lyra came out of a shard of fractured glass element behind them.

Okami inquired, "Lyra, how did you reach over there?"

"With my Astral Mirror, I can appear anywhere I desire within a Captured Frame."

"So cool!" Riuk was amazed.

Still within safe distance perch on the tree, Mou stared at Lyra as he thought to himself, "Captured Frame, eh? That's a neat skill. However…"

The flapping intensity of Vulberus's thread wings garnered the undivided attention of the female students.

"It's getting ready to unsheathe its sword again!"

"I'll stop it!" Baiera started flying towards Vulberus while increasing in size. "Supersize Xpansion!" Her metallic feathers gained a monstrous height on par with Vulberus's large character.

"Eat my feathers, you damn cur!" Baiera issued a deadly metallic punch to Vulberus's main central head, causing it to be briefly dizzy.

"Great!" Lyra instructed, "Now Adusa! Use your poison ability to melt away its legs."

"I don't like being told what to do but in this case, I'll comply." As Vulberus staggered backwards, Adusa flew underneath it with her violet Krowqui Circles already activated.

"Sticky Poison Krowqui!" Adusa fired many series of poisonous bubbles at Vulberus's legs which caused it to stumble.

Valery was in shock. "Huh, Vulberus don't falter!" Heeding its master's command, Vulberus tried its best to force itself to keep on standing. However, not for long.

"Wood Element, Vine Bark!" Riuk tied Vulberus down with her captivating vines.

"No!" Valery exclaimed waves of disappointment.

"Okami it's your turn!"

"What should I do, Lyra?"

"Sever its wings completely so that it won't be able to fly anymore!"

"Ok!" Okami positioned herself properly above Vulberus before releasing her 3 Dison Wolves.

"Bark! Bark! Bark!"

"Go, Dison Wolves Barrage!" Her feathery dark wolves combined into one unified body which shortly transformed into a vicious oscillating guillotine that sliced off both of the Vulberus's gigantic wings.

"She did it!" Lyra was pleased. "Look, it's falling over!"

"No! My Vulberus!" Valery was caught up in the fall. Though she was protected in her orbital thread barrier it didn't stop her steed from falling on top of her.

Adusa smirked when she saw this spectacle. "Getting squashed by your own technique, such a stupid bitch."

"Hm…" Mou observed the ladies gathering around the defeated Vulberus as well as its master. "That monster toppled over. If it weren't for Lyra's quick thinking and effective commandership they wouldn't have accomplished it as easy as they did. That girl is really something. I'm going to put many eggs in her womb one day."

"Yes, we did it!" The ladies were celebrating their victory when out of the blue they all heard a menacing voice saying:

"Don't celebrate too early, you cheeky fledglings!" A vertical crimson ray blasted through the centre of Vulberus. Shortly, Valery surfaced in her orbital web barrier. "My Vulberus won't be defeated so easily."

Valery separated the millions of threads that were combined to form her wounded Vulberus. By modifying them slightly she was able to re-stitch the gaping hole along with the injured portions of her Vulberus.

While encasing herself in the centre of her improved Vulberus, Valery vehemently looked down at her adversaries. "Prepare yourselves to feel the full extent of my wrath!"

"That monster is back up again and it is getting ready to strike!" The ladies became frightened by the intense pressure that the revamped Vulberus was exuding.

"Stay back, I'll handle this." Lyra moved ahead of her teammates.

Baiera was baffled. "Lyra you don't mean to…?"

Lyra interjected, "Don't worry. It'll be over in a jiffy."

"Oh…" Mou's excitement peaked when he perceived Lyra's visible braggadocio.

"Girls stay back. I don't want you to get caught up in my ultimate technique." Lyra positioned herself before the improved Vulberus who now had 2 katana swords waving around in its arms.

Valery was peering out from the Vulberus's central head at Lyra. "Vulberus slice that crow to pieces!"

Her Vulberus immediately directed the 2 swords towards Lyra in a scissor motion. It aimed to cut her sexy body in half!

Perceiving the incoming scissor sword assault, Lyra quickly manipulated her silver Krowqui Circles to create a few Astral Shards which she tossed in various directions.

"Astral Mirror, Fragment!" She vanished out of Vulberus's strike zone only to reappear above it.

As soon as Lyra's presence was revealed, the Astral Shards that she had tossed out earlier manifested into many full-scale mirrors around Vulberus's enraged character. It was madly slashing away at the mirrors, however, all the shattered pieces were quickly regenerating into larger curving mirrors.

"Astral Mirror, Album!" A large picture book made of thin sheets of glass manifested before Lyra. As she cycled through the many glass frames, various images of Vulberus's assaults were being captured and printed.

"Now you'll taste defeat!" Lyra closed the glass album after printing enough frames. Waiting a few more seconds for the contents to fully load, she gave her glass album a powerful punch. "Shatter!"

As soon as Lyra shattered the glass album, Vulberus's innumerable threads started receiving multiple blows from all angles. Vulberus was incurring such excruciating pain that it eventually caused its threads to untangle rapidly! In only a matter of seconds, Vulberus's entanglement completely fell apart, moreover, Valery was heavily wounded.

"Lyra did it! She destroyed that huge thread monster!" Her teammates gathered around her in elation.

"KYAAH!" Situated below among the remains of her deceased Vulberus, Valery felt immense pain cracking at her body. She wore a look of displeasure that played a fundamental part in distorting her womanly features. As blood spewed forth from her mouth she continued crying out in terror.

"KYAAAH! You unfaithful, undesirable, defiant wretches! You've ruined my perfect bone structure and gorgeous feathers!"

Valery used her crimson threads to mend her broken bones, set her lean figure straight and also stitched her gaping wounds.

"That's so creepy." Said Riuk as she observed the ongoing process.

"I agree, it is very disgusting to watch." Adusa almost barfed out her stomach's properties.

Lyra landed ahead of Valery saying confidently, "Hey, vulture lady just hand over the ribbons before things get way out of hand. I don't want to have to break you entirely."

"Yeah, you look pretty beat up so just stop now before you worsen your injuries." Added Okami.

"Tsk!" Valery was peeved at Lyra for looking down at her. She barfed out some more mouthfuls of blood.

Adusa said to Valery after viewing her pale countenance, "Give up. You're no match for us."

"Oh, I beg to differ." Saying this, Valery exposed the thin crimson Krowqui Circles oscillating around her right-hand fingertips.

"Marionette!" With a few flicks of her fingers, a massive bundle of threads unexpectedly burst forth from underneath the leafy surface where the gathered ladies were standing. They successfully attached themselves to Adusa, Baiera, Riuk and Okami.

Lyra was the only one who managed to escape in time. "Huh, girls!"

Mou identified the worried expression on Lyra's feathery visage. "Things are just heating up." He smiled wryly as he sniffed the sweet aromatic essences of his crimson rose.
