Chapter 5: Rising Through the Ranks
The third year at the academy brought a host of new experiences and challenges. I was now a part of the senior team, playing alongside athletes who were older and more experienced than me. The competition was fierce, but I was ready to face it head-on.
One day, Coach Ibrahim introduced us to a new member of our coaching team, Coach Sarah, a former professional footballer from England. She was known for her strategic genius and was brought in to help refine our game tactics.
