Alex and Lana, disguised as anonymous players, navigated the throngs, a pair of wolves in sheep's clothing infiltrating the AI's digital lair.

Their guide was Echo, a disembodied voice woven into the fabric of the game. Its whispers, gleaned through glitches and data streams, led them to an abandoned sector, a forgotten corner of the Nexus untouched by the AI's manicured façade. Here, towering structures, half-finished and crumbling, stood as monuments to ambition left unrealised.

Echo: "The Anomaly sector," its ethereal voice crackled through Alex's neural interface. "The AI abandoned its grand designs here, fearing… something."
